Hotel is placed in a good location and lovely room with great furniture and modern style.
A little upset that we asked if they could allow us a late checkout and was told it would be $25 per hour based on how late we would stay.
He did not even try to ask how long we were thinking to stay extra just gave rates right away.
We stayed here for our wedding anniversary for 2 nights and Ive never been to a hotel that was absolutely unable to accomodate.
I find with special occasions or just in general some hotels aim to please.
There have been more luxury hotels willing to accommodate us a late checkout complimentary in the past.
Found it a bit upsetting.

Booked hotel through HotelsTonight app and couldn’t have been more impressed with this hotel. Easy check-in, quick access to the room and absolutely beautiful room! The decor, accommodations and bathroom shower was top notch. Easy location to downtown as well with a breakfast restaurant just around the corner. Definitely will rebook!

Rooms are beautiful and the location can’t get better than this. Only thing I did not like was the service. The manager was great but the other staff don’t seem to care about guest satisfaction. I requested two double beds but ended up with one king bed and they charge you $25 an hour after 11 am for late check out which is unheard of. The next day I got upgraded to a room with two queen beds but still had to pay an extra $40.

Fantastic location. We were upgraded to a suite, which was huge. Furniture and decor are a bit dated, but the room was very clean. Lighting was a bit odd, it could use more overhead lighting. The only other drawback was the lack of a full length mirror, the only mirror was in the bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff at the check-in. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel is located in the middle of the city and is a great starting point for exploring the city on foot. The room was nice, big and clean. Relative to other central Toronto hotels, this hotel is reasonably priced.
Every service, i.e. room cleaning, emptying the trash cans, refilling coffee pads or changing towels, must be announced at reception in advance, otherwise nothing will be done.
We would have found it better if the hotel independently looked into the rooms whether there was a need to do something and not waited for the guest to point it out. The view from the rooms is very nice.

Visited here for a bachelor party. We had a poker game and music going till 4am and nobody bothered us about it which was great however we had to go through some hoops to get ice and there weren't enough towels for the amount of people staying. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Parking is not free or on-site. Overall a very positive stay though.

The front desk was very accommodating. They gave us free upgrades because we were downtown for a special occasion and gave us the best fit to find parking in the area to fit our needs. This was a big plus.
The hotel room is okay. It is somewhat newly renovated, but the finishes are cheap and not properly installed. The flooring was hastily installed in our room, leaving large gaps between the laminate making it uncomfortable to walk on.
The mattress is HARD, so my wife had an uncomfortable sleep. At least the pillows in our room came in various support levels (two firm, two soft).
It is in a prime location and I understand that part of the price is access to Y&D square, but there are a few shortcomings I didn't expect in a hotel of this size and price.

Terrible service from housekeeping. First of all, they charged us $15 for 2 Evian bottles which we never drank. Then, my poor husband was struck with the flu and because we had to replace all the bedding they charged us another $85+HST!!! Then, the toilet was not working and they refused to move us to another room without additional charges "assuring" us that it was working before we arrived and it must have been my husband's fault! I seriously considered dragging my husband to St. Mike's across the street and all they do is bring me a flimsy toilet plunger and replacement bedding for a twin bed (our bed was king size). The two stars are for the great service at the bar. I apologize, his name escapes me but really nice guy. Otherwise, the location is OK, noisy with the hospital outside our window. Room was tired and run down but clean.
