Radisson Blu Hotel Koln

I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cologne and was thoroughly disappointed by their refusal to accept cash payments. While some may appreciate a cashless society, I firmly believe that customers should have the freedom to choose how they pay. It was frustrating to discover at check-in that cash was not an option!!!

Cash is a universally accepted form of payment, and excluding it feels restrictive and inconsiderate, especially for international travelers or guests who prefer cash for budgeting or privacy reasons. Not everyone wants to rely on cards or mobile payments, and a hotel of this caliber should be more accommodating!

This inflexible payment policy left a bad impression and overshadowed the rest of my stay. Until Radisson Blu Cologne starts respecting all payment preferences, I won’t be returning - and I can’t recommend it to others who value the freedom to pay with cash!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during my stay at your hotel from 4th to 7th September. Specifically, I encountered several inaccuracies in the information filled out on the hotel documents, including incorrect details and grammar mistakes.

Additionally, during my stay, I left some clothes in my room upon checkout. I contacted the hotel twice, and on both occasions, I was told that no items were found. However, after my colleagues insisted on further checking, my clothes were eventually located. This experience caused me undue stress and inconvenience, which is unacceptable.

I kindly request that your staff exercise more diligence when handling guest belongings and ensure all items are accounted for accurately. Moreover, attention to detail in document preparation is crucial for maintaining the professional standards expected by your guests.

I would appreciate it if you could address these concerns and take the necessary steps to improve your services. I look forward to your response and any actions you plan to implement to prevent such issues in the future.
