Overall good experience at this hotel.
The room was fine though the mattress was quite used on one side of the bed.
The noise insulation isn't very good, we could hear afar the elevator going up and down, and corridors doors opening and slaming. Still, for most people it would be ok, and with earplugs we couldn't be bothered by those sounds.
There is no room service included for stays lesser than 7 nights (extra fee if required).
The location and the ease of checking in and out are pros.

If you treat it as a high-level hostel, it's perfect. I liked the common areas where you can work, eat, prepare food, drink coffee etc.

Very nice hotel in a great location! I've been to Berlin a few times but this is by far, the best bang for the buck considering how easy the check in, the location and how nice the room was. Overall great!

Terrible experience — misleading listing and poor hygiene
This place was a huge disappointment. It’s advertised as a flat with a separate bedroom and lounge, but in reality, everything is in the same room — it’s essentially a hostel, not an apartment.
The place was dirty upon arrival, and there’s no cleaning service during your stay. Guests are expected to collect and change their own towels and sheets from the laundry room. No one cleans the dishes or restocks any essentials.
The bathroom smelled awful, the shower had no hanger, and the sink was clogged. To make things worse, the extra duvet for the sofa bed had large blood stains on it — absolutely unacceptable.
There’s no one available to address complaints, either in person or online. For the price (around €200 per night), you’d expect at least basic cleanliness and service, but you won’t find that here.
I strongly advise avoiding this place — it’s a low-quality hostel disguised as a flat. You’re much better off staying at a proper hotel.

Absolutely AWFUL experience. We found BUGS in the bed during our stay, which was horrifying and completely unacceptable. This caused us huge stress, unable to sleep, and made us feel deeply uncomfortable in the property.
When we raised our concerns, management dismissed the clear photographic evidence and tried to deny there was ever a problem. Instead of taking accountability, they deflected and refused to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation arguing that there was no evidence that we had been bitten. We vacated the property after one night to find alternative accommodation.
On top of that, the property listing as a 1 bedroom is misleading. The photos make it look like there’s a separate bedroom and living area, but in reality it’s just a small studio. This feels dishonest and deceptive, especially as we required privacy as part of a mixed gender group.
The entire experience was stressful, upsetting, and ruined what should have been an enjoyable trip. I would never stay here again and strongly urge others to avoid this property if you value cleanliness, honesty, and peace of mind.

I spent three nights at Numa Sketch Berlin in Friedrichshain and was overall very satisfied. The fully digital concept works great: check-in and check-out were done entirely via smartphone—no waiting, no paperwork. I really appreciated that!
The room was modern, very clean, and included a small kitchenette—perfect for a few days in Berlin. I especially liked the fast Wi-Fi and the quiet location, despite being close to the lively Boxhagener Platz with plenty of cafés and bars within walking distance.
One minor downside: there’s no on-site reception or in-person contact. If you’re someone who prefers speaking directly with staff, keep that in mind. However, the digital support via WhatsApp and email was responsive and helpful.
Overall, a very pleasant stay—I would definitely come back!

Good room. Good location. Maybe I should have double checked. But a breakfast box isn't what is expected. Also paying extra to have towels exchanged surprised me.

One of the best stays we’ve had in Berlin. Warmly recommend to anyone coming to stay for a few days, there are kitchen facilities. The place is immaculately clean and welcoming. Can’t wait to come again.
