This one is just okay. It does the job. It's not a big room, but for the most part it has everything you'd expect. I am a tea addict and there was no kettle. Apparently that's a Germany-wide thing? Which is weird to me personally, because if you step into a Rossmann or a Rewe, you'll get mountains of tea. And yet I had to go back to the reception each time.

Our experience at this hotel was unfortunately quite disappointing. First, the lady at the front desk was rude and unwelcoming. Very nice hotel, close to the center. Just keep your window closed at night during the week because the start working at 7 am. We stayed in the appartement and realy liked it. This is a basic hotel. You are paying for a bed and four walls. Its clean and safe, and very close to the cathedral and shopping area. If you just need a place to sleep for cheap, this is it.

Room is alright for the price you pay. Our room was really small and hot, rooms are not air conditioned. There was also no hot water in the shower. Location is great for a visit to the Lanxess Arena, some nice restaurants near the hotel as well. If you only come to the hotel to sleep and not for additional luxury or comfort this hotel is fine!

The hotel was mostly clean and centrally located. The room however was tiny and not really like the pictures. I tried to make changes to the reservation but they were very rigid insisting on applying 100 % charges.

Room was very nice and clean. The things that bother me was the very small bathroom. When you went to the toilet, your knees are against the wall in front of you. I’m 1,68 tall, but someone bigger than me should have a problem here. The same for the shower. The breakfast is basic. But when the fruitsalade was empty, they didn’t refilled it.

I had a great stay at Motel One Köln-Neumarkt. The hotel is in a fantastic location, conveniently close to the city center and right near public transport, making it easy to explore the area. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay pleasant and relaxing.

Stayed at the hotel for the third year in a row and really enjoyed it. Incredibly easy to reach from the station and a great central location to explore the city from. It has become my home away from home whenever Amphi festival is on and I'll definitely be back next year.

I'm not very often in Hotels - even not in Hotels in the German Federal territory. For a 3 star Hotel I think the rooms (especially the bathroom) are more likely to be very small. For someone with more Wealth is in the shower is a challenge... The bed I have slept in the I, knarxt... is simply outdated already... I then placed the mattress on the floor to sleep then on the ground, it was bearable...

OK hotel, especially when you consider price. They are refurbishing the outside during daytime. Note the backside is looking over the Cologne central station and tracks which is quiet from around 2300 until about 0500, so be prepared for some noise outside those hours. We booked the family room which was large and clean. We had our own space as did the kids. But even after taking the elevator we still had a flight of stairs to climb with our luggage. Keep that in mind if you book this room. It was very basic but suited our needs fo callr our one night stay.

After I got stranded on my way to Italy I had a layover here and called them in middle of the night and the woman was very nice to fix a room, beds are great and it’s clean! The breakfast have many varieties. It’s a bit like coming to someone’s living room, shes is very service minded and helpful. If you ever get to cologne, I definitely recommend if you want a home feeling more than a sterile hotel

Strange experience here. When I arrived, with a reservation, to the hotel (about 10pm or a little earlier) it was completely shut with no one there. I tried knocking on the doors but no answer, no answer from the phone number on the hotel website, no answer from the phone number seen from the exterior of the building either. The staff is fantastic and very helpful! I arrived early and I was tired and the woman in the reception with a very beautiful smile did the check in for me and let me go into my room. The location is good because is just 13 minutes walking from the Central Station and all the museums and principal attractions are around. The breakfast was good and varied. Cozy and friendly hotel in the center and good price. Don't expect a fancy luxurious place but to spend your nights, have a decent bath and accessible to anywhere in the city, this hotel delivers. This was by far one of the weirdest hotels I've stayed at. First off the location was great, and the service from the workers was great. Room quality was on the contrary though. The beds were way too firm and the pillows are horrible. Bathroom size was okay but the shower pressure was too aggressive. Best to say you get what you pay for, and if you end up staying here enjoy and bring you're own pillow

Very well located. 5min walking from the historic city centre, and perfectly located for business environment.

OK, but nothing special. Room quite spacious and clean, but breakfast very simple. Small entrance from the street (no lobby or anything like that), reception in the restaurant next to the hotel (there's extra door from the hotel corridor).

Satisfactorily. In the room of the smell of a three star hotel, sleep only with open Windows. The Breakfast is poor. The hotel location is good, near the Central shopping street, to the Cathedral 20 minutes on foot.

Location was idea, beds very comfortable and lots of space. Location was perfect for a city break. However the shower temperature was temperamental and the towels were as rough as sandpaper.

Strange thing is that hotel offers you apartments not just rooms, which are located so far away from the embankment.

Fantastic location on the river, close to the train station, cathedral, and Christmas markets. Clean room cleaned daily and very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

I does not have air condionated, you have the windows open and you can not sleep be cause all the noise around (people and cars)

based on other reviews I made sure to get here early before check in. Doing that was a little inconvenient waiting around for about half an hour but the mobile check in was easy and the room was right for a budget one-night stay before a flight.

The room was spacious and clean. A refrigerator, air conditioning, safe, kettle, and tea and coffee were available. The bathroom unfortunately lacked a shower curtain. But everything was clean. Unfortunately, the room was incredibly hot, and it was located directly on the main road on the ground floor (room 008). Even with the windows closed, you could hear the cars.
