Amazing location and lovely staff! Rooms are a little dated but that’s not a problem for a short stay, everything was clean and comfortable. Bathrooms had been renovated.

Staff were very helpful and professional. The rooms are alright but could use more electrical outlets, there were only two. Also, the push button shower takes a good 5 minutes to warm the water

Location of the hotel very convenient, close to train station, close to the centre and Cathedral. The Room was clean with a fantastic view over the Rhine River and parrots on the trees in the evening and in the morning

And the best breakfast is the best so far to compare with other hotels. The only thing was a bit annoying, waiting time for elevators in the morning (to busy)

But if you ok with stairs, that's not a problem, just use staircase

I'm not sure if the higher-end rooms are kept cleaner or have more recently refurbished interiors, but the entry-level experience was spacious, poorly lit and lacking modern amenities such as easily accessible power sockets or a shower that could maintain a consistent temperature

Bathroom is rather small, but thanks to the high water pressure the shower is fantastic. Friendly staff who look after check in and a small bar in the lounge

we need to be near the center of Koln.there were two kind of staffs in the hotel office.very nice men and girls working there.nice experience

Good budget hotel for a quick stay with a fairly good breakfast layout. Staff is helpful and courteous. Had a wonderful stay.

Place is 2 mins walk from a station that takes you to the main landmarks, including Hauptbanhof. Squeaky clean, great staff and the buffet is really varied, tasty and with everything for anyone, absolutely recommended.

Small but efficient, nice bed, good amenities, nice in the centre of Köln, but very affordable still.

Apparently that's a Germany-wide thing? Which is weird to me personally, because if you step into a Rossmann or a Rewe, you'll get mountains of tea. And yet I had to go back to the reception each time

Entrance to the hotel is straight line walking a cross the Brenzlauer Platz, about 100 m. Two small downsides: The mattress of the bed should be renewed and replaced with a harder one

The hotel is very cautious about security. Before entering, need to press doorbell then the staff will allow you to enter. Also, need to use hotel card to enter into residential area

And their was some disturbing noise (I am sensitive to noise, in particular at night) from either the compressor or larger blower of some air-conditioning (mine AC was switched off)

Enter the hotel, be greeted with a friendly smile and "just wait a moment" as they were serving another guess trying hard and quit successful to speak in his mother tongue (French)

Great location as it is only 1 min walk to the station. Love the service and the room as well. Good for short term stays. Would definitely come back here again!

Check in quickly, asked for a room not facing the train station and got one on the 10th floor. Today checking out another very friendly person

The parking lot is at the mainbuilding and we stayed in the other building which is across the street and doesn't have the reception desk. It says there is parking provided but you still have to pay 23 euro for 24 hours

The aircon was not working, when we tried to call the reception multiple times to help us fix the issue but no one pick up even though we called multiple times

The hotel is quite in the night but during the day there was some construction noice since there are some renovations going on around in the area

In the end they waived this for us since the aircon didn't work and they didn't fix it. The coffee provided was nice

The room was nice and clean however, there is no fridge in the room

When I checked in, however, I asked where the bar was and the receptionist laughed. There is a bar and a restaurant but they aren't in use, they only service breakfast

Returning to the hotel from a long day out, our host Philip was extremely helpful to serve us hot food and good spirited conversation to lift our moods and make us feel like home. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Hot water was free (luckily I had some tea with me) but receptionist guy asked 2-3 times if it is coffee or hot water as if I was cheating him (I felt like a thief😔) Location is far from city center but it is quiet on the other hand

Very standard and very acceptable hotel room. Disappointed the food options basically were snacks from a Petrol station or KFC. On the August weekend when I stayed there was basically nothing else on offer

the pillows were a little too soft for me but its in a great location! Right in the middle of town! Plenty of shops and grocery around and there is a market during the week. I would stay again it was a good price

Lovely management at reception. The rooms are well priced , with breakfast as an extra starting from 8 euros. Local shops are around the corner if you need anything

No kettle or microwave in my room, but was not needed from my end. Local tram stop is next door going directly into town, with the river Rhine a few meters away

I visited here for about 6 nights and it was great. They had a breakfast buffet every morning that was about $8. The rooms are decent and the beds firm

Nice hotel and service We went to Köln for 2 days of stay. The reception service was quite good and polite. The room was clean and the location of the Hotel is very good. If we go again, I will probably stay here again.

They still use a classic metal key vs card key for hotel rooms and you need to hand the keys to reception every time you leave the hotel. I would say the vibes are like staying at your grandparents who are very sweet

I really enjoyed staying at Hotel Allegro. The warm welcome and very attentive staff made me feel just like home. The room was very comfortable with coffee machine and kettle, minibar, comfy bed and Italian shower

Lovely little hotel at a good price. Spotlessly clean, with very friendly and helpful staff. We had the smaller rooms with single beds which we were happy with but a larger person might find a bit uncomfortable

The staff at Allegro are amazing! They were incredibly supportive and accommodating when my colleagues and I were in Cologne for business. The rooms are quiet and it’s just a short walk from Heumarkt by foot

Mohammed was superb at taking care of us at the front desk. He went above and beyond in meeting our needs. He call us in our room within the hour to check on us to make sure all was good with our room

This is a huge hotel in a great location, Penn Station across the street. The hotel has been remodeled but still has a lot of art deco features that appeal to travelers like myself

We had a very large room on a high floor that was very quiet and had a great view. The hotel is very busy, but hey it’s NYC. Would definitely stay here again

Property situated very close to Subway. We were surprised that they have Fee $. 5 as never experienced any such charges. Room sizes were very compromising two luggage bags and no space to walk

There is virtually nothing in the area (1 restaurant - the scampino I think) which was nice otherwise you have to go into the city which is 45 minutes walk. There is however a good bus service and scooters if you prefer

The reception was very helpful whenever I had some questions or requested some replacement towels. If you can get a good price here, I see it as suitable for short stays

Stayed for one night. Very spacious and clean room. Checked in late but was received well. Location is good, it’s close to the centre. Only issue was that it took a while to find the parking.

Location was idea, beds very comfortable and lots of space. Location was perfect for a city break. However the shower temperature was temperamental and the towels were as rough as sandpaper.

Fantastic location on the river, close to the train station, cathedral, and Christmas markets. Clean room cleaned daily and very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Strange thing is that hotel offers you apartments not just rooms, which are located so far away from the embankment.

Location is nice, right near the riverbed. Room is clean, bed also clean and comfortable as well.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Very cozy, clean and quiet Hotel and neighborhood. I was in town for a trade show close to downtown but the train from this hotel to Kolnmesse was a breeze and so comfortable.

The food is very very good, the wine advice! The wine advice is technically highly competent, and the operation as well! 5 of 5 stars

Furthermore, the hotel is near to the city centre and the neighborhood is nice! I recommend you this place and if I come back I will for sure stay here again!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is also great: not so much noise and it’s very close to the cathedral and train station.

The service facilities are very good, but there is one thing I am not satisfied with: the price on their own website is lower than the price on Ctrip! I felt a little unhappy when I found out

The property was spotless in respect the general areas as was the room. Little touches like sweets on the pillowcase and tissues in the bathroom just added to the good stay

The most recommended thing is the location! It is only a few hundred meters away from Cologne Train Station and Cologne Cathedral, and it is quiet in the bustle

A kettle and tea and coffee facilities were in the room as was paper and pen to write notes. Convenient to railway station and Dom

Most of their English is quite good, they will let you reserve parking in advance, easy to get into, and the price is fair

I have stayed in Koln 4 times in the past 2 years. The last 2 were in the Hotel Weber and it is now my goto hotel

The room had shower and sink facilities. However the toilet was on a different floor. Whilst not the end of the world, it was tricky to go to the loo with a toddler! Beds were super cosy, and we both slept very well

Very nice little hotel in the Barbarosa platz section of Koln/Cologne. The rooms are very clean as well as the bathrooms. Really friendly staff more than happy to help

Me and my son had a very comfortable stay during a visit for the Christmas markets. Location wise was very convenient to access the central parts of the city, either by foot or by tram

Very good small hotel. Clean room, very nice staff! Only the bathroom are with old sanitarium and without any accessories / even no soap/ at least there are towels. But is at perfect location! I would visit it again.

You will find the Skada very quickly and in a few minutes on the 'right' side of the Rhine. Room & Cleanliness: I had a quiet room to the backyard. It was really clean, the furnishing is however getting on in years

An inexpensive Hotel needed for a night with good location in Cologne. Location: in sight of the station Deutz – just perfect! Also a couple of restaurants are in the immediate vicinity

To the gastronomy I can't say anything, I used the Hotel for Overnight. I paid I for a night by the way 39,00€ (about HRS, without the 5% Cologne's "tourist tax" and without Breakfast)

However, everything you needed cared for and had. What I didn't like it all that (as in all Hotels of this earth) are the shower curtains. And the rooms are actually a little noisy

But the lift was a drawback in that it did not go to the any floor of the hotel direct, one would need either go up or down one flight of the staircase to go to the room

Perfectly placed hotel if you are attending the Koln Messe. Literally across the road from the East entrance. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The bar is good. About 20 minutes walk from the Cathedral.

The hotel is very close to the Cologne Exhibition Hall, and it only takes a few minutes to walk there. The receptionist is very friendly. The room is clean and sanitary, and there is plenty of hot water

The breakfast is €30 extra, to use the pool is €6 extra, a bathrobe is €3,5. Other than that, the hotel in itself is pretty good

Disadvantages: Breakfast is a bit expensive at 28 euros; the quilt is too thin and too short (but not cold). Summary: I will choose this place again when I attend the Cologne Exhibition next time

The room I booked for the exhibition is across the street from the exhibition hall, which is very convenient. The restaurant and bar inside are good value for money, and there is also a sauna

The hotel was very well located near the stadium. The facilities were also very nice. We had a room that even had a dressing area. 

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, room was standard but with a separate small bathroom. Everything is clean for each guest 2 towels for feet on the floor, shampoo, body lotion, nail file

The hotel was really clean and modern and fitted out nicely with great sized rooms, excellent bathrooms and a lovely pool

The only thing that took away from our experience was that our safe stopped working completely trapping our belongings into it. The staff did not know what to do and this took a while to resolve

Water pressure was good in the bathroom. The indoor pool and sauna appeared clean and inviting, though we didn't use these during this stay. Buffet breakfast was very good and much appreciated

only one thing I would to suggest: add a usb port for charging devices in the rooms. everybody needs to charge their phones

The sauna and pools were nice they just need to let people know the rules about the sauna and pool prior to them entering as a few were confused

Unfortunately, when it comes to the facilities for guests, it is quite poor, there is no coffee and tea in the room, a bathrobe, flip-flops and a SPA towel are available for a fee (8 euros per person), the room was quite small

I you want generic and corporate its not for you - but if you love Therme Culture and a hotel that makes you feel that you are in Germany, Koln and loved & cherished - book it and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do ( please note I travel globally and read reviews / never ever stay in a hotel that always gets 5 Stars - WHY > nothing is perfect - I adore reading a bad review followed by a good review...

Lovely central location, roof terrace ( fab in summer / awesome for NY ), Therme Spa totally clean and fabulous, rooms simple yet stylish with fridge, staff always ready to help - its family owned and therefore has a style and a vibe that makes it unique

At first, we plan traveling by train, so made reservation with this hotel, at the end, we rent a car, so car parking becomes a little bit trouble, lucky, we found a parking slot at road side and free for over night:23-9

Nice room, standard, and friendly staff. good breakfast and service. Ok walking distance from Neumarkt with subway, trams, and the starting point for a shopping street. A lot of options in the spa facilities.

But WiFi was almost entirely out of order for the duration of my ＞3 days there, and, in my room, the safe had no batteries so it too was useless, and the bedside reading lamps lacked light bulbs

We chose the breakfast which we knew it was going to be continental style, Ok for the 3 days but limited and same each morning. Muhammad, the general manager, is such a likeable guy. Everything we asked, he sorted

First impressions I'll have to be honest and say it wasn't great. Then the more we got a feeling of the area & the room & its amenities we took a step back and realised it's not bad at all

we spend most of the days out once we've left the room. So a refresh bed, shower, room, location, all fine. There are plenty of things to pick holes at, but be open-minded, and it's fine

I was a bit worried after reading the reviews here which seem to be overblown and exaggerated. The hotel's rooms are of good size and the my room was recently renovated and smelt new

The hotel is very well located, close to transport links and within walking distance of a range of bars and restaurants and many good neighbourhoods such as the Belgisches Viertel. There was a good choice for breakfast.

Hotel location is very easy to find and in center . Clean cozy nice hotel. daily housekeeping is done even if you dont demand. Breakfast is very nice and satisfying also various. every type of drink exist . 10/10

The room we stayed in this time was in Zone 2. The room size was good and overall comfortable. The price was only RMB 100 more expensive than a single room. But the check-in time was 3pm, which was a bit too late.
