Staff were very helpful and professional. Great location in Old Town. The rooms are alright but could use more electrical outlets, there were only two. Also, the push button shower takes a good 5 minutes to warm the water. Seriously not kidding about the last part. Outside rooms have good views as well.

Took a short break in Cologne during weekend. Marriott is a nice place to stay with five minutes walk from the central station. Easy to find on arrival and easy for your departure by catching a train to airport. Very cozy bed and clean room with minimal noise. Except the WiFi takes a bit longer to activate but that’s fine.

We had a wonderful stay. Impressed with the location and the service. The only downside was the room was specified to have a city view and we were located on the 3rd floor with a view of the flat roof with vents making a noise 24/7.

It's not very good for big groups as there is no way a bus can normally get in and out of the parking lot. The entrance needs some work in that regard. I use this Mercure as a base when travelling to work in Germany and it's always been a welcoming, friendly and quiet place to unwind after travelling / working. I've marked the location down for the benefit of others, for me and the office I need to visit whilst in Germany it's perfect, however some may find it a little too far out of the city centre. To arena, perfect to stay! Also to the city center, easily to get there by tram. Staffs are all nice and helpful.

It is on the west side of the exhibition center, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the north entrance. There is shampoo, but no conditioner. There is hand sanitizer and body lotion, but no soap. There is a kettle. The weather is super dry. The same temperature is about 10 degrees higher than that in coastal cities in China.

Overall, the living environment is quite comfortable and acceptable.

The room I booked for the exhibition is across the street from the exhibition hall, which is very convenient. The restaurant and bar inside are good value for money, and there is also a sauna. The only thing is that the hotel's underground parking lot is too expensive at 32 euros a day. Others are ok.

We visited the rooftop bar at Hotel Savoy for lunch and were already impressed by the stunning view over Cologne from the 9th-floor terrace.
