Amazing location and lovely staff! Rooms are a little dated but that’s not a problem for a short stay, everything was clean and comfortable. Bathrooms had been renovated.

Staff were very helpful and professional. The rooms are alright but could use more electrical outlets, there were only two. Also, the push button shower takes a good 5 minutes to warm the water

Location of the hotel very convenient, close to train station, close to the centre and Cathedral. The Room was clean with a fantastic view over the Rhine River and parrots on the trees in the evening and in the morning

And the best breakfast is the best so far to compare with other hotels. The only thing was a bit annoying, waiting time for elevators in the morning (to busy)

But if you ok with stairs, that's not a problem, just use staircase

I'm not sure if the higher-end rooms are kept cleaner or have more recently refurbished interiors, but the entry-level experience was spacious, poorly lit and lacking modern amenities such as easily accessible power sockets or a shower that could maintain a consistent temperature

Perfectly placed hotel if you are attending the Koln Messe. Literally across the road from the East entrance. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The bar is good. About 20 minutes walk from the Cathedral.

The hotel is very close to the Cologne Exhibition Hall, and it only takes a few minutes to walk there. The receptionist is very friendly. The room is clean and sanitary, and there is plenty of hot water

The breakfast is €30 extra, to use the pool is €6 extra, a bathrobe is €3,5. Other than that, the hotel in itself is pretty good

Disadvantages: Breakfast is a bit expensive at 28 euros; the quilt is too thin and too short (but not cold). Summary: I will choose this place again when I attend the Cologne Exhibition next time

The room I booked for the exhibition is across the street from the exhibition hall, which is very convenient. The restaurant and bar inside are good value for money, and there is also a sauna

The hotel was very well located near the stadium. The facilities were also very nice. We had a room that even had a dressing area. 

Stayed here for 10 days during Gamescom and had a fantastic experience! The staff went above and beyond—keeping our room spotless, learning our team’s food and drink preferences, and even offering a special Gamescom menu which was a nice touch

At first, I was a little confused about needing to put the room keycard in the slot near the door for power—I even ended up taking my first shower in the dark before asking the front desk (who explained it with a smile)

The room was large and convenient. It was nice that they provided water and carbonated water. There was a bathtub so I could relax, and it was nice that the body soap, shampoo, and treatment were all separate.

I would have preferred a queen or king bed instead of two twins pushed together since you do sink a little in the middle, but honestly that was minor compared to how great everything else was

Only downsides: No quiet workspaces available after checkout, so I had to work from the Design Offices until my train left for home. And some machines in the Gym were broken

The main drawbacks were the location, a bit far from the city center, which was less convenient for quick outings, and the €20 daily parking fee, which felt high

We had the Continental breakfast in the Executive lounge and it was excellent with everything you could want. I do have to say that the parking was extremely tight so if you have a bigger car be careful and take it slow

Took a short break in Cologne during weekend. Marriott is a nice place to stay with five minutes walk from the central station. Easy to find on arrival and easy for your departure by catching a train to airport

Stayed here overnight so that we could enjoy a little bit of the city, visit the Musical Moulin Rouge which was right around the corner and not have to take a 2-hour drive to get home late at night

Loved the location and the executive lounge was fantastic! Large and served great food and drinks throughout the day. Be sure to enjoy happy hour here

The 2nd night was a Friday so there was a bit more noise from neighbouring rooms, loud slams from the doors, probably the door brackets are a bit aggressive, but to be expected from a weekend

It was a great decision to stay here, the people were outstanding and extremely helpful and professional. The room was very functional and clean with everything you need on hand

Unfortunately, unlike some of the other hiltons, there is no water dispensary in the hallway and water is not complimentary unless you are Honors silver and above

The shower area in the room is slightly too tiny to move around. The room is very nice and comfy. The staffs are also very nice and friendly

It's a great hotel and the staffs are very helpful. The location is perfect and very close to both tourist spot and the train station

The water pressure is not too strong for showers and the air condition panel is hard to use, but the staff helped me to make it work

We enjoyed our third long stay this year at this amazing place. They make you feel welcomed and appreciated. Nina is a great manager, Dario is kind and wonderful to talk to at the bar

The hotel is 10-15 mins walk from the train station and has supermarket/ restaurants nearby. Very good options when traveling with a family.. the bed is also very comfy. Love it there.

In September 2023 I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The room was exceptionally clean, the staff members were very nice and helpful. The breakfast box was delicious and nutritious

The hotel room was really clean, albeit small. didn't have many surfaces to put toiletries on. Also, we had requested the beds to be separate, apparently that doesn't exist in this hotel

The bed was comfortable and had separate blankets for me and my partner, as I’m learning is the German way! It’s only a 9 minute walk to the cathedral and the city centre, which is really convenient and only 4 minutes to the Eigelsteintorburg, which is very handy for the walking tour

Bit of a strange set up with teas and coffee; it’s only available between 11:30pm-11am with none in the room (I’m clearly showing what country I’m from 😂) but the staff were very accommodating in sorting me out, outside the free tea/coffee time when I asked

The hotel exceeded my expectations, it is much better than many 5* hotels. Stylish design, everything is in excellent condition, everything is very clean. Check-in is fast, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming

I was looking forward to this hotel, first the check in process took a while, the receptionist was not very friendly. In return the room was very clean, spacious and the breakfast was varied.

So watching TV was therefore not possible. Breakfast in the hotel is really great and extensive and there is a spacious and clean sauna in the hotel. You can sit comfortably in the bar and enjoy delicious cocktails

The room we were assigned afterwards was clean and had a lovely bed and a spacious bathroom with a good shower. We would have liked a small mini fridge in the room (but hey, you can't have everything)

I was there for 10+ days on a business visit. It is easy to get to the hotel and many places within walking distance, including public transport. What bummed me were the extra charges for parking and breakfast

We did then also receive four rolls and the price was reduced for the two of us who need gluten free. We did appreciate that, but we would have preferred to pay normal price and have a better breakfast

When we asked about leaving our bags in the hotel after checkout due to a late flight we were told that as members (had signed us up with consent at check in) we could have a later checkout which was a godsend

My children wanted to have chocolate on Easter morning. My kids really wanted it, so I asked a male room cleaner for an Easter rabit chocolate, but I don't know the name. After wait a few minutes and then he got me one

There is parking for a fee located on site (was €48 euros for two nights). Located next to a few restaurants if you need a bite to eat. Easy to walk to downtown area - about a 25 min walk to the center

Friendly service at the reception desk, comfortable rooms and a very good bar to grab a bite or a drink. The only improvement would be a better fitness area, is almost non existent now

I booked a stay for my parents and I and it was their first time visiting Cologne. I have stayed in this location before and it's a great spot. It has everything you need for a quick visit

Breakfast The breakfast was excellent — generous, fresh, and above the usual hotel standard. Boasting a surprisingly broad selection of bread, cheeses, charcuterie, fruit - and hot options

The room was great and we had a mini bar with nuts, chocolate, beers and sparkling water included in the price. Could've used a kettle and some tea coffe in the room but no big deal

The location is a bit far from the city center, which may not be ideal if you plan to explore the downtown area frequently. Check-in is only available after 3:00 PM, which felt a bit inconvenient

This hotel is very new and well-equipped. It is a very cost-effective hotel in Europe. The transportation is convenient overall, but if you use public transportation, you should be careful when you come back at night

The room is clean and spacious, Facilities: comfortable and convenient Sanitation: very clean Environment: quiet, convenient transportation, convenient parking, there is a free parking space at night behind the hotel building, pay attention to the parking signs

You will pass a very dark park. The nearest supermarket is 14 minutes away on foot. If you need anything, you can buy it when you pass by the supermarket and bring it back to the hotel

They have an own concept called "lean luxury", two completely opposite words meaning in real life that: the walls are "industrial style", there's no carpet, the ambiance is cold (low temperature as well as figuratively cold), the sink is literally 1 meter away from the bed and you have to do your own check-in on a screen at the bar

I don't think I ever had such mixed feelings about a hotel I've stayed in. It is nice on the outside, it is well placed, the inner yard is quiet, it's got parking, it's clean

But the breakfast feels a little incomplete and the personal could be a bit more helpful. All in all, Ruby is an amazing bar & lounge that has a hotel attached to it

The bar downstairs (that serves as a reception) is really good, cocktails are amazing and I'm all in for the "free drink" offer instead of daily room cleaning

But they provide some non-essentials as a Marshall speaker and a Marshall guitar amp, in case you wanna grab a guitar from the bar and "jam" in your room

but it misses some essential things that would make it a very good hotel, especially when traveling for work

The location was suitable for the fair. The room was a bit small but extremely clean. The food was adequate.

The bathroom needed a thorough cleaning. The climate control couldn't get it from 27. 5 degrees Celsius; the maximum setting was -3 degrees Celsius. The room was nice and spacious with two large beds and a cot

It was a bit noisy, though, as you could hear conversations downstairs on the terrace. We were woken up around 9:00 by the cleaner or something

Even managed to get early checked in at 1150am, when we reached at 1130am, as the staffs rushed to help us get checked in. Breakfast was on the pricier side for 17 euro but it was really good and widespread!

The hotel also comes with a bathtub, a refrigerator, and a bottle of water. There's a delicious German pub downstairs

However, the hotel's location isn't very convenient; the nearest subway station is about a 10-minute walk, and the cobblestone streets make it difficult to lug a suitcase. Overall, however, it's a good stay

Entrance to the hotel is straight line walking a cross the Brenzlauer Platz, about 100 m. Two small downsides: The mattress of the bed should be renewed and replaced with a harder one

The hotel is very cautious about security. Before entering, need to press doorbell then the staff will allow you to enter. Also, need to use hotel card to enter into residential area

And their was some disturbing noise (I am sensitive to noise, in particular at night) from either the compressor or larger blower of some air-conditioning (mine AC was switched off)

Enter the hotel, be greeted with a friendly smile and "just wait a moment" as they were serving another guess trying hard and quit successful to speak in his mother tongue (French)

Great location as it is only 1 min walk to the station. Love the service and the room as well. Good for short term stays. Would definitely come back here again!

Check in quickly, asked for a room not facing the train station and got one on the 10th floor. Today checking out another very friendly person

The parking lot is at the mainbuilding and we stayed in the other building which is across the street and doesn't have the reception desk. It says there is parking provided but you still have to pay 23 euro for 24 hours

The aircon was not working, when we tried to call the reception multiple times to help us fix the issue but no one pick up even though we called multiple times

The hotel is quite in the night but during the day there was some construction noice since there are some renovations going on around in the area

In the end they waived this for us since the aircon didn't work and they didn't fix it. The coffee provided was nice

The room was nice and clean however, there is no fridge in the room

When I checked in, however, I asked where the bar was and the receptionist laughed. There is a bar and a restaurant but they aren't in use, they only service breakfast

Great place to admire some of the greatest Formula 1 cars in the history. Surrounded by trophies and a collection of other suvenires creates good atmosphere. Some of other road going cars are amazing too

Great, relaxed place with free entrance to the Schumacher collection. Definitely would recommend. Also a restaurant and shop where people are super friendly and you can relax.

Super easy check-in and check-out. Friendly staff. The frosted glass wall between the shower and the bed could be a bit confusing. We were very satisfied with everything.

I enjoyed the room overall — it was clean, comfortable, and nicely kept. The bed was a bit small for a double, and while I found it okay, my partner didn’t love it, so I’d say the comfort level was “medium

The hotel room facilities are OK, and the breakfast is also good. The only thing is that the front desk clerk is a bit bad. I asked him to help call a taxi, but he called a super old Mercedes-Benz business car

The room and public spaces were very clean! Everyone I came in contact was extremely helpful and friendly and the location is amazing! Two minutes to the river, where you can stroll along the promenade and be at the Cathedral within about 15-20 minutes

Located in a quiet side street near the Rhine. Comfortable room, very quiet hotel, friendly staff & breakfast. 5 minutes walk from Reichensperger Platz U Bahn metro station a couple of stops from Köln Hbf & the Dom

It's about a 25 minute walk, mostly along the Rhine, to get the Cologne Main station with the cathedral just behind that. The hotel is also very close to the botanical gardens (stunning!) and the zoo as well

A single bed, desk, lots of storage, a water kettle with assorted teas, lots of information about the hotel and it's history, a mini bar and a flat screen TV, as well as wine and water glass

Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Koelnmesse (you can get a lime for under 3€ or a cab for 6-7€). Descent breakfast, rooms have only the basics and no a/c

Breakfast is included and the staff always remembered my gluten allergy and brought me gluten-free bread each morning when I went down to the breakfast room

Lovely management at reception. The rooms are well priced , with breakfast as an extra starting from 8 euros. Local shops are around the corner if you need anything

No kettle or microwave in my room, but was not needed from my end. Local tram stop is next door going directly into town, with the river Rhine a few meters away

I visited here for about 6 nights and it was great. They had a breakfast buffet every morning that was about $8. The rooms are decent and the beds firm

Just recall the meaning of nearly 45° degrees (not Fahrenheit) when you think of you parking down there. Try Imagine sitting in your car knowing, that you never have driven your car in that angle before in your life

But since my German language skills are terrible, I wanted something that would be somewhat familiar. I was not disappointed, I loved it. Staff was great, room was great, and the restaurants attached were great as well

If you have to park your car in the garage below the building, you can spend nearly 10 bucks for one night to have your vehicle feel comfortably too. But be careful when moving your car in or out of this garage

Especially when there are any special events in the region around, you have to pay a very unique price tag for these days. Don't expected to pay even or less than double of the standard price here

This review was written through my eyes only, you probably have never been there and would for sure have a different view on some things (except at this special angle in their garage)

A hotel you must have visited by yourself. I would call it an experience. Large rooms with a very nice touch to all those little details are waiting for you, except for the price tag
