Amazing location and lovely staff! Rooms are a little dated but that’s not a problem for a short stay, everything was clean and comfortable. Bathrooms had been renovated.

Staff were very helpful and professional. The rooms are alright but could use more electrical outlets, there were only two. Also, the push button shower takes a good 5 minutes to warm the water

Location of the hotel very convenient, close to train station, close to the centre and Cathedral. The Room was clean with a fantastic view over the Rhine River and parrots on the trees in the evening and in the morning

And the best breakfast is the best so far to compare with other hotels. The only thing was a bit annoying, waiting time for elevators in the morning (to busy)

But if you ok with stairs, that's not a problem, just use staircase

I'm not sure if the higher-end rooms are kept cleaner or have more recently refurbished interiors, but the entry-level experience was spacious, poorly lit and lacking modern amenities such as easily accessible power sockets or a shower that could maintain a consistent temperature

Perfectly placed hotel if you are attending the Koln Messe. Literally across the road from the East entrance. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The bar is good. About 20 minutes walk from the Cathedral.

The hotel is very close to the Cologne Exhibition Hall, and it only takes a few minutes to walk there. The receptionist is very friendly. The room is clean and sanitary, and there is plenty of hot water

The breakfast is €30 extra, to use the pool is €6 extra, a bathrobe is €3,5. Other than that, the hotel in itself is pretty good

Disadvantages: Breakfast is a bit expensive at 28 euros; the quilt is too thin and too short (but not cold). Summary: I will choose this place again when I attend the Cologne Exhibition next time

The room I booked for the exhibition is across the street from the exhibition hall, which is very convenient. The restaurant and bar inside are good value for money, and there is also a sauna

The hotel was very well located near the stadium. The facilities were also very nice. We had a room that even had a dressing area. 

Stayed here for 10 days during Gamescom and had a fantastic experience! The staff went above and beyond—keeping our room spotless, learning our team’s food and drink preferences, and even offering a special Gamescom menu which was a nice touch

At first, I was a little confused about needing to put the room keycard in the slot near the door for power—I even ended up taking my first shower in the dark before asking the front desk (who explained it with a smile)

The room was large and convenient. It was nice that they provided water and carbonated water. There was a bathtub so I could relax, and it was nice that the body soap, shampoo, and treatment were all separate.

I would have preferred a queen or king bed instead of two twins pushed together since you do sink a little in the middle, but honestly that was minor compared to how great everything else was

Only downsides: No quiet workspaces available after checkout, so I had to work from the Design Offices until my train left for home. And some machines in the Gym were broken

The main drawbacks were the location, a bit far from the city center, which was less convenient for quick outings, and the €20 daily parking fee, which felt high

We had the Continental breakfast in the Executive lounge and it was excellent with everything you could want. I do have to say that the parking was extremely tight so if you have a bigger car be careful and take it slow

Took a short break in Cologne during weekend. Marriott is a nice place to stay with five minutes walk from the central station. Easy to find on arrival and easy for your departure by catching a train to airport

Stayed here overnight so that we could enjoy a little bit of the city, visit the Musical Moulin Rouge which was right around the corner and not have to take a 2-hour drive to get home late at night

Loved the location and the executive lounge was fantastic! Large and served great food and drinks throughout the day. Be sure to enjoy happy hour here

The 2nd night was a Friday so there was a bit more noise from neighbouring rooms, loud slams from the doors, probably the door brackets are a bit aggressive, but to be expected from a weekend

It was a great decision to stay here, the people were outstanding and extremely helpful and professional. The room was very functional and clean with everything you need on hand

The location is a bit far from the city center, which may not be ideal if you plan to explore the downtown area frequently. Check-in is only available after 3:00 PM, which felt a bit inconvenient

This hotel is very new and well-equipped. It is a very cost-effective hotel in Europe. The transportation is convenient overall, but if you use public transportation, you should be careful when you come back at night

You will pass a very dark park. The nearest supermarket is 14 minutes away on foot. If you need anything, you can buy it when you pass by the supermarket and bring it back to the hotel

Stayed here for a 3 day city break. Is a bit out of the way from the centre. Only fault would be that breakfast is quite expensive so we didn’t opt for this. €25 each for a breakfast buffet is quite overpriced

Great location for Christmas markets! The hotel is outside the city centre but we liked being closer to the smaller markets. We stayed in December 2024 and the hotel was exactly what we needed

Impressed with the location and the service. The only downside was the room was specified to have a city view and we were located on the 3rd floor with a view of the flat roof with vents making a noise 24/7

We received a small marriage cake to enjoy, and I had a special hanger for my wedding dress. I loved the way they took care of even the smallest things

Super nice & efficient personnel, rain shower, free minibar plus 3 large bottles of free water, Nespresso machine, and tons of toiletries in the cheapest room. The huge breakfast buffet had everything except waffles

Front desk could be a little more friendly. Bathroom very small and need to take shower in very small bath not nice would prefer a normal shower

It is so small I dont know how a german can fit into the bath / shower???all the rest was good and the breakfast is very good buffet

Great place to stay..just above the station with mere minutes to walk . Nice room and splendid breakfast offerings. Room does not provide toothbrush 🪥 so bring one . No slippers if you feel that you need.

The hotel is located nearby bus and underground station.so we go to sightseeing places conveniently.breakfast is wonderful. The staff are professional and kind .

Hotel is located not far from center, it has spacious rooms and staff were really nice.

Nice hotel, very nice reception at arrival. Breakfast was really good and the rooms were clean. Slightly warm but nothing an open window cant fix. Not the greatest matrasses but that’s okay, you don’t pay a lot either.

The room is large, clean and quiet. The breakfast is good with many choices. It is a good choice for business travel and I will stay here next time. The hotel front desk service is also very good.

They have an own concept called "lean luxury", two completely opposite words meaning in real life that: the walls are "industrial style", there's no carpet, the ambiance is cold (low temperature as well as figuratively cold), the sink is literally 1 meter away from the bed and you have to do your own check-in on a screen at the bar

I don't think I ever had such mixed feelings about a hotel I've stayed in. It is nice on the outside, it is well placed, the inner yard is quiet, it's got parking, it's clean

But the breakfast feels a little incomplete and the personal could be a bit more helpful. All in all, Ruby is an amazing bar & lounge that has a hotel attached to it

The bar downstairs (that serves as a reception) is really good, cocktails are amazing and I'm all in for the "free drink" offer instead of daily room cleaning

But they provide some non-essentials as a Marshall speaker and a Marshall guitar amp, in case you wanna grab a guitar from the bar and "jam" in your room

but it misses some essential things that would make it a very good hotel, especially when traveling for work

The parking lot is at the mainbuilding and we stayed in the other building which is across the street and doesn't have the reception desk. It says there is parking provided but you still have to pay 23 euro for 24 hours

The aircon was not working, when we tried to call the reception multiple times to help us fix the issue but no one pick up even though we called multiple times

The hotel is quite in the night but during the day there was some construction noice since there are some renovations going on around in the area

In the end they waived this for us since the aircon didn't work and they didn't fix it. The coffee provided was nice

The room was nice and clean however, there is no fridge in the room

When I checked in, however, I asked where the bar was and the receptionist laughed. There is a bar and a restaurant but they aren't in use, they only service breakfast

Staff is generally willing to help and speaks English well (this is not always the case here) The bad: My room was really noisy until 3-4AM, given that it was facing a very busy small street with bars and clubs

The good: Great location in central neighborhood of Koln with lots of restaurants and bars around. I walked here from the train station, no problem. Breakfast buffet is really good

I was able to change rooms the next day with the help of AMEX, which should be more quiet, but now the shower is barely trickling (first room almost had too much pressure)

The main bed was very comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows and towels. However, the sofa-bed was rather hard to sleep on. We liked that our room was very silent because the windows faced the backyard

Would recommend this hotel the rooms were nice the only downside they were warm and even with the AC on low every night was not able to cool the room down, The staff were amazing so helpful, there is not too much to do on the media park, a walk in to the center is about 20 minutes the tram is Christophstr

/Mediapark and this about 5 min away, Hansaring train station just under 10. with been out of the center is nice and quiet. I would look to stay again if i was to return to Koln

Everything what we needed was within walking distance. If you plan to use the gym, bring light and airy clothing as the space is also connected to the sauna which makes it quite warm

A good location to stay at to be able to access most central destinations with public transport. Clean rooms and nice sound proofing. I have already stayed at this hotel twice and it is my go to when coming to Cologne

Good services and located old town

The cleanliness and facilities provided match with it room charges. The breakfast of the hotel was very expensive. It's about HKD300 per head. The hotel should work something on it for the convenience of the customers

Hotel has great location. However be aware that even if you selected a twin beds it is not guaranteed. We were annoyed by this. Since this waa one of the reasons we selelected this hotel.

Unpleasant staff at reception, 26 Euros per night for parking, and basic rooms. Overall an average experience.

I was looking forward to this hotel, first the check in process took a while, the receptionist was not very friendly. In return the room was very clean, spacious and the breakfast was varied.

So watching TV was therefore not possible. Breakfast in the hotel is really great and extensive and there is a spacious and clean sauna in the hotel. You can sit comfortably in the bar and enjoy delicious cocktails

The room we were assigned afterwards was clean and had a lovely bed and a spacious bathroom with a good shower. We would have liked a small mini fridge in the room (but hey, you can't have everything)

I was there for 10+ days on a business visit. It is easy to get to the hotel and many places within walking distance, including public transport. What bummed me were the extra charges for parking and breakfast

We did then also receive four rolls and the price was reduced for the two of us who need gluten free. We did appreciate that, but we would have preferred to pay normal price and have a better breakfast

Price/quality wise its really a good hotel. Love the swimming pool and the room was what you would expect for the price. Lovely service made it a great example of a succeeded trip!

My favorite part is the pool which was empty every time I went! There’s a sauna too but you have to ask them to turn it on. Of note, the mini gym leaves much to be desired with its six pieces of equipment

It was nice to have a swimming pool and the sauna you had to tell the staff to turn it on an hour before wanting to use. My room being cleaned when I asked for it and being done properly when I complained about it

It is a must-stay every time I go on a business trip. The scenery outside the room is very beautiful. You can see the Cologne Cathedral. It is recommended to stay here. It is a little far from the city
