Amazing location and lovely staff! Rooms are a little dated but that’s not a problem for a short stay, everything was clean and comfortable. Bathrooms had been renovated.

Great parking location but very expensive. Average daily rate is 21€ but the ease of the location might be worth it. Enclosed atrium provides for a great eating and shopping environment

The best hotel ever. It locates in the city center, where take only 5 minutes by bus to the cathedral. The staffs are very nice and my room was extremely beautiful

Unfortunately you need to pay 6€ additional to use small swimming pool. Breakfast has a bit of everything, only smoked salmon was missing ( so if you do not eat meat and dairy product), mhmm

Comfortable beds but room temp was too hot even with temp turned down on thermostat. The pool water is a bit cold for my liking

The breakfast is €30 extra, to use the pool is €6 extra, a bathrobe is €3,5. Other than that, the hotel in itself is pretty good

Perfectly placed hotel if you are attending the Koln Messe. Literally across the road from the East entrance. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The bar is good. About 20 minutes walk from the Cathedral.

It's a lovely hotel in a fabulous location. The staff are all really lovely. Amazing spa and excellent prices on treatments. Free drinks of you conserve environment and skip room cleaning

It's a nice hotel, comfortable room. I missed a socket near the bed. Personally I'm not a fan of showering in the tub, but it worked. Breakfast rates are ridiculous in my opinion

We had the Continental breakfast in the Executive lounge and it was excellent with everything you could want. I do have to say that the parking was extremely tight so if you have a bigger car be careful and take it slow

It was a great decision to stay here, the people were outstanding and extremely helpful and professional. The room was very functional and clean with everything you need on hand

- Convenient location with short walking distance to the train station; very busy surroundings with restaurants and bars. just wish there is an Expresso coffee machine in the room instead of some instant coffees

Stayed here overnight so that we could enjoy a little bit of the city, visit the Musical Moulin Rouge which was right around the corner and not have to take a 2-hour drive to get home late at night

The 2nd night was a Friday so there was a bit more noise from neighbouring rooms, loud slams from the doors, probably the door brackets are a bit aggressive, but to be expected from a weekend

- Hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. Our room is very, very comfortable with a huge flat screen TV, mini-fridge, kettle, safe and other amenities as per Marriott standards

We have been staying at the hotel on our wedding night and the night before. We had a room with a stunning view over Cologne and a beautiful balcony

There is a generosity about this hotel that is all too rare these days. Heaps of toiletries in the bathroom, free minibar with beer and juices, and a magnificent breakfast. The outdoor elevator was an unexpected joy too

It's also a short taxi ride from the airport - if taxis are your preference. On arrival, it was a super quick check-in. We found the staff to be very nice and friendly, always willing to offer some help when required

Super nice & efficient personnel, rain shower, free minibar plus 3 large bottles of free water, Nespresso machine, and tons of toiletries in the cheapest room. The huge breakfast buffet had everything except waffles

Great location, u-bahn station is literally right outside the entrance it's a short journey on the train to hbf, nice easy stroll along the Rhine to the Chocolate museum and onwards to the centre for shopping and sightseeing if prefer to walk

The hotel is excellent, comfortable, and clean, with spacious rooms. It is conveniently located near the city center, just 10-15 minutes by train to and from Cologne Cathedral. The price is relatively affordable.

The hotel is great value! The location is perfect, the room was so cosy and warm with a super comfy bed and great shower and water pressure. The room was cleaned each day and amenities restocked

The staff at the Mercure is top notch! We had trouble turning on our air conditioner and someone was in our room a few minutes after we called the front desk and solved the problem immediately

I have dietary requirements that are hard to meet but the selection of gluten free and plant based dairy products was great so that I could eat like other people, which is rare in the hotels

We wanted some plates to enjoy treats we'd bought at a local bakery and the staff was super accommodating. We didn't have an electric kettle in our room and the housekeeping staff was gone

Love this hotel, stayed here for the second time this weekend. Large quiet room, humongous comfy bed, and fantastic breakfast buffet! Service is good and parking is expensive (€20) but secure

We ate at the Italian place inside with the gorgeous bar and the staff went out of their way to make us happy, the burger was also delicious. The lobby is modern and stunning and even SMELLS good

The temperature could be controlled perfectly and also had automatic electric blinds. Had a small fridge, iron, dryer and everything. One of the most luxurious hotels I have ever stayed in

The best thing was the free breakfast buffet in the mornings. They had such huge options of healthy food. Fruits, breast, variety of cheese, fruit juices, coffee, eggs, cornflakes, you name it and it's there

The only complaint was the room was not cleaned regularly, and I had to inform the reception to get it cleaned every time. Apart from that nothing to complain at all

Since all the important attractions are near Cologne Train Station, this hotel is off from the attractions and has to take train and walk for 8-9 minutes to reach hotel and again from hotel to metro station

Anyway my one day stay was all joy

Breakfast was really nice, there were many options. Location is great, bus stop is nearby and its near to many tourist attractions. Also many food options in the vicinity, within 7-8 mins walking distance

We arrived at 10am super early hoping we could leave our bags and go explore, but they had our room ready which was an amazing start! The customer service was incredible, the room was so comfortable and a lovely view of the cathedral and train station

The noise is not an issue with the two windows closed but we loved the noise and kept them open. The free water was a brilliant thing to have and the free coffee until 11:30am is reaalllly good

This was an amazing find very near the central station, away from the touristy part of town, but on a pretty and busy local main street, with local supermarkets and grocery stores

Friendly and helpful people, and there is baggage storage possible. The room was small but all you needed, there was an airco, hairdryer and tv available, personally the bed was a little hard

Rooms: The room we stayed in was excellent. It was clean and the bathroom was a good size. We had a nice view of the cathedral spires and the main station. The bed is king size and comfy

They also provided a nice stokke high chair for breakfast. We had a handicapped room which gave some more room in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the service was great. I’m really impressed by our stay

Hyatt delivers, and as always this is not an expectation. The building and facilities are phenomenal. Our room (king bed) was looking slightly dated but not in bad shape at all, and overall it was large and comfortable

Room is very clean and spacious. Only issue with the room is the toilet is opposite the bed and there is a gap under the door, unsure if this is the same with every room

We had a fantastic stay for our family vacation! The front desk staff was kind enough to upgrade our reservation to a superior room, and to our great surprise we found a room full of attentions that made the stay special: a little tent for the kids, a giant giraffe plush, free candy and snacks, toys in the bathroom, etc

Stayed here again a few years since our last visit. The hotel rooms have been refurbished and have a modern clean feel to them. The pool is a nice touch and a pleasant visit after a long day walking round the city.

There was no privacy between the bathroom and the room. Only a curtain you could pull but it stopped no sound or light

It was understandable that this could happen but one staff member was not as accommodating, empathetic, reassuring or understanding as we would have expected and this tarnished our trip, caused us to miss our dinner plans, and made us feel less secure in the hotel

The only thing that took away from our experience was that our safe stopped working completely trapping our belongings into it. The staff did not know what to do and this took a while to resolve

I would stay again but would ask for the hotel to train staff on better customer service and empathy if people have wallets, watches, jewellery and passports trapped in the safe

A good location to stay at to be able to access most central destinations with public transport. Clean rooms and nice sound proofing. I have already stayed at this hotel twice and it is my go to when coming to Cologne

Breakfast: it's done in buffet form, to my surprise there was a very friendly cook that will make you a very delicious omelet to your wishes. Definitely a hotel to go back to!

Room was spotless and had decent amenities. Would much rather have had a TV I could connect to my own Netflix etc. than a pointless Marshall speaker. The Galley idea is great, but please provide proper tea

They have an own concept called "lean luxury", two completely opposite words meaning in real life that: the walls are "industrial style", there's no carpet, the ambiance is cold (low temperature as well as figuratively cold), the sink is literally 1 meter away from the bed and you have to do your own check-in on a screen at the bar

But the breakfast feels a little incomplete and the personal could be a bit more helpful. All in all, Ruby is an amazing bar & lounge that has a hotel attached to it

The bar downstairs (that serves as a reception) is really good, cocktails are amazing and I'm all in for the "free drink" offer instead of daily room cleaning

But they provide some non-essentials as a Marshall speaker and a Marshall guitar amp, in case you wanna grab a guitar from the bar and "jam" in your room

Some might like the concept, but I think there are places that might be more suitable for the average business traveler

Robot in the lobby - fairly interesting? A snippet for many new observations that you will have at this hotel. It can be a bit much at times but still playful!

I came to spend the weekend with my girlfriend for our 3rd anniversary, asked the hotel for some flowers to be prepared in the room

BUT is a tucked away enough that getting a taxi or Uber is easy. Very nice rooms with spacious bathrooms. Very good breakfast…definitely recommend that part. The restaurant on site is good too

A bit out of the way it is for pedestrians, however, to the Duomo, a good piece has to be laid back but this is also not a Problem because of the way the river is all along very beautiful and worth a visit

Very friendly staff, cozy rooms and good Kölsch. At the best a room in the backyard, as it can be on the main road the louder. The Internet was very fast.

5 week vacation, we stayed in similar hotel rooms in Brussels, Amsterdam, and Dortmund, and this one in Cologne was by far the most spacious. The staff were courteous and helpful the few times we interacted with them

No tea/coffee making equipment in room but refreshments were available from the bar. Good buffet breakfast selection constantly refreshed. Would certainly be happy to recommend it
