Where to stay in Koln

We had the luxury suite with 2 bedrooms for us and our 4 kids (6mo-8y). Spectacular views, pretty decor and stunning bathtooms. Perfect for a family!! Right in city centre, within a few minutes from shops, restaurants, dom river side. Really recommend it!

The best hotel ever. It locates in the city center, where take only 5 minutes by bus to the cathedral. The staffs are very nice and my room was extremely beautiful

We came here with our 10 month old for a few days after a river cruise. Luckily for us, they were able to check us in very early. Great value suite rooms here. We had a little bumpy start to the check in but after resolving it very quickly; the staff ensured our stay was absolutely perfect. The location of this hotel was really good, close to lots of restaurants and bars and near the cities attractions. While the rooms were very spacious they were not very clean with one corner of our room actually having mold in it behind the curtains. The wifi was also awful. The connection was so poor that i couldn't even load a video, and it would repeatedly drop out in the room.

Room and facilities were top notch for my stay on 12 August. My check in staff were polite and courteous as were the spa and gym staff who are fantastic. A great shame the check out person (Hirsch who claimed he was the manager) I believe was rude and unhelpful citing a bizarre policy for his behaviour. Otherwise a great hotel.

A short walk from Köln-Messe rail station, and across from the Messeplatz centre it is simply the most convenient location for business travellers. It is my default hotel of choice in Köln. Clean efficient rooms, robust and diverse breakfast, and comfortable lobby bar, round off a quality stay.

Great contentious experience while staying at Holiday Inn Express, Colonge, Germany. The amibition, helpful staff, thoughtfully designed the services that required at each occasion of the daily needs. It's a nice hotel, comfortable room. I missed a socket near the bed. Personally I'm not a fan of showering in the tub, but it worked. Breakfast rates are ridiculous in my opinion. Almost €30,- for a cup of coffee and a bowl of yoghurt is overrated. Parking rates could be less too, imo.

Good Leonardo quality as usual. Only thing worth complaining about are the entrance doors. If you approach the entrance doors too fast they open right into your face because the doors open to the outside. That should be easy to fix by adjusting the level of sensitivity for the sensor. If sensitivity is increased, the sensor will spot an approaching person earlier and therefore will open the doors earlier

This was my 12nd stay at this place. Honestly the best near to the airport. Shuttle at every time, nice and smiley staff. The most valuable handling is coffee next to reception at morning time. Cleaners are really good and got high volume of patience.

The location is central but still in a decently quiet neighborhood. Rooms are fine everything works and is available but might need some more cleaning on parts of the walls. Check-in and check-out we're quick and easy and the private parking was very convenient as well.

The hotel is great value! The location is perfect, the room was so cosy and warm with a super comfy bed and great shower and water pressure. The room was cleaned each day and amenities restocked. Front desk were very friendly and helpful, luggage storage for the day of check out was a bonus. Really happy with our stay.

The staff at the Mercure is top notch! We had trouble turning on our air conditioner and someone was in our room a few minutes after we called the front desk and solved the problem immediately. I have dietary requirements that are hard to meet but the selection of gluten free and plant based dairy products was great so that I could eat like other people, which is rare in the hotels. Staff was friendly, parking is directly under the hotel and accessible by elevator.

Ive been here several times over the years and always enjoyed it a lot. The rooms are spacious. The host and/or hostess was always very helpful and friendly. Me and my friend usually went to the swimmingpool later on the day so we, personally, never had issues going for a swim - like someone else mentions. The location is perfect and easy to reach when you travel with public transport.

Took a cheap room. Everything is clean, simple, minimal. Minibar, safety Deposit box, gift - jelly beans. The rest is all for money. Conveniently located, close to restaurants, cafes, train station, attractions (Cologne Cathedral). An excellent room with good-quality equipment. Location is good and close to restaurants and grocery stores (e.g. Penny). 10-min walk to train station where you can take trains to the central station. Overall, if you want to visit Cologne, this can be a good option.

Stayed here for 2 nights for my wife's 30th birthday. Service from all the front desk staff was phenomenal from checking in until check out. We’ve stayed in this hotel, for baptism in Cologne. It was amazing. The place is close to the city, so it’s easy to visit. The staff are really kind and very helpfull. I would like to recommend this hotel to Hyatt members. As a new member of Hyatt, at first they are not very familiar with Hyatt benefits.
