Where to stay in Koln

There is no river view from the window.it is not as expected .

They gave me a room far inside the hotel, far from the elevator.They don't even change rooms, and if you go with family, you may have to see a hard time. I do not recommend it for family

Took a short break in Cologne during weekend. Marriott is a nice place to stay with five minutes walk from the central station. Easy to find on arrival and easy for your departure by catching a train to airport. Very cozy bed and clean room with minimal noise. Except the WiFi takes a bit longer to activate but that’s fine.

Perfect for a two day stay, specially if you are going to an event in the Koln Lanxess Arena. Not much to do close by, but perfect walking distance from the venue, subway, and some restaurants. The staff is super friendly, and the rooms clean and look just as advertised.

The room didn’t have a working air conditioner. We left the window open but it was loud all night because of the people waiting for cabs/buses. The breakfast was delicious though. The whole place isn’t horrible but we paid way too much for this place.

Love this hotel, stayed here for the second time this weekend. Large quiet room, humongous comfy bed, and fantastic breakfast buffet! Service is good and parking is expensive (€20) but secure. I had a great stay at Motel One Köln-Neumarkt. The hotel is in a fantastic location, conveniently close to the city center and right near public transport, making it easy to explore the area. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay pleasant and relaxing.

Great contentious experience while staying at Holiday Inn Express, Colonge, Germany. The amibition, helpful staff, thoughtfully designed the services that required at each occasion of the daily needs. Decent stay. Rooms were okay, they provided me a fridge in the room on request. The breakfast was really crowded and not managed so well. It's a little small for how many people were staying in the hotel.

Went just to take a mini holiday for the weekend. The rooms with a view of the cathedral and the train station are louder because they face the streets. The location of the hotel is very good(close to the railway station and cathedral area). I can say that rooms are not big but they are okay. If you want to make breakfast at the hotel,it is better to make it outside with the cheaper price in compare to the hotel's price, The breakfast price was expensive.

I absolutely loved this hotel. For me one the best I stayed. The rooms are fantastic I loved the marshall speakers. The room is spacious very well designed and has great soundproof, nobody heard my music and neither did I hear my next door sound. To get in and out as well as the elevator you use your card which I think is great for safety. Overall a 10 hotel for me I definitely recommend it

Parking pricey if you use the hotel car park, but you might be lucky enough to be able to park outside. Breakfast also expensive for what you get. Nice clean friendly hotel though and would stay there again.

Lovely room and helpful reception staff. Nice king size bed but two small duvets (smaller than single I'd say). Didn't replenish coffee facilities on first day so we called and requested some and they hadn't arrived half hour later so had to chase. Didn't eat here but restaurant and menu looked decent

Been here many times over the years. I sleep well when I stay which is perhaps the main thing? Room was incredibly warm in December, and room controls override not available so just turned off radiator and opened windows to cool it down.

It's a really nice hotel with really well behaved staff. The breakfast is really good. The location was good. It's just a 3-5 mins walk from the U-Bahn. The only problem- the Nespresso machine was faulty and wasn't working.
