Staff were very helpful and professional. Great location in Old Town. The rooms are alright but could use more electrical outlets, there were only two. Also, the push button shower takes a good 5 minutes to warm the water. Seriously not kidding about the last part. Outside rooms have good views as well.

It's obviously once been a stunning hotel. Our rooms were clean but had that old hotel smell and the curtains were quite motheaten. The bathrooms are great with even a magnified mirror. Took a short break in Cologne during weekend. Marriott is a nice place to stay with five minutes walk from the central station. Easy to find on arrival and easy for your departure by catching a train to airport. Very cozy bed and clean room with minimal noise. Except the WiFi takes a bit longer to activate but that’s fine.

Probably last time i'll go to this hotel. You can park your car on site for.... 24€.... I took the car and parked on the street for 5€. Simply lovely! Just a great hotel in a great location. I am usually very picky, but this one was flawless to me. Spacious clean room with a modern design and everything looks new. The shower area in the room is slightly too tiny to move around. The room is very nice and comfy. The staffs are also very nice and friendly. We had a wonderful stay. Impressed with the location and the service. The only downside was the room was specified to have a city view and we were located on the 3rd floor with a view of the flat roof with vents making a noise 24/7.

It's not very good for big groups as there is no way a bus can normally get in and out of the parking lot. The entrance needs some work in that regard. I use this Mercure as a base when travelling to work in Germany and it's always been a welcoming, friendly and quiet place to unwind after travelling / working. I've marked the location down for the benefit of others, for me and the office I need to visit whilst in Germany it's perfect, however some may find it a little too far out of the city centre. I love to stay here after late inbound flight

The hotel is located inside the airport, which results in daily parking fees that are quite high—almost half the cost of the room. Also, because it’s close to the airport, you can still hear the sound of planes taking off and landing. However, overall, it’s quite clean. The only other drawback is that it’s relatively far from the city center. All in all, it’s still pretty good.

A good location to stay at to be able to access most central destinations with public transport. Clean rooms and nice sound proofing. I have already stayed at this hotel twice and it is my go to when coming to Cologne. The staff was helpful in facilitating a room change.

We booked this hotel for our long weekend stay in Cologne, and it was a good destination. Less than 15 walking mins away from the old town, situated right at the river and with lots of dining options around, it offered everything we needed. The room was very spacious, with sort of a balcony just above the canal, with comfy beds.

I had 2 days in a conference at the hotel and also spend those 2 days there. My room had a nice view to the river and was also very comfortable/big. Everyone was super nice and the food was delightful. There is also a terrace with an amazing view. The hotel is also close to the main station and the Cathedral.
