We had the Continental breakfast in the Executive lounge and it was excellent with everything you could want. I do have to say that the parking was extremely tight so if you have a bigger car be careful and take it slow

Location is excellent too within walking distance of almost everything you would like to see

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Cologne Marriott. It’s a very well managed property where the service is exceptionally good

Stayed here overnight so that we could enjoy a little bit of the city, visit the Musical Moulin Rouge which was right around the corner and not have to take a 2-hour drive to get home late at night

It was a great decision to stay here, the people were outstanding and extremely helpful and professional. The room was very functional and clean with everything you need on hand

- Convenient location with short walking distance to the train station; very busy surroundings with restaurants and bars. just wish there is an Expresso coffee machine in the room instead of some instant coffees

If you book a room facing Köln cathedral your experience is going to be more interesting. Fireworks during the night was fantastic and you get a good view from the hotel floors

They also provided a nice stokke high chair for breakfast. We had a handicapped room which gave some more room in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the service was great. I’m really impressed by our stay

The staff we dealt with were all kind and welcoming. The amenities are great, and the hotel is in a good central location

Hyatt delivers, and as always this is not an expectation. The building and facilities are phenomenal. Our room (king bed) was looking slightly dated but not in bad shape at all, and overall it was large and comfortable

We loved the breakfast with a breathtaking view - had so many different food options. Staff are very nice and helpful. Has a bar and couple of restaurants which are very peaceful and nice

Stayed at Hyatt Köln after Christmas during the new years 2024 it was an amazing experience! Specious rooms and facilities. Bed was really comfortable and bathroom with a bathtub

Whenever in Germany, I stay here. Excellent location - close to shopping, train and restaurants. Breakfast is fantastic at the hotel. This time, the room was definitely smaller and louder

I am a traveller from India and stayed in this hotel for 6 days for a business trip in October. The experience was really good. They assign a double room even for a single person

The only complaint was the room was not cleaned regularly, and I had to inform the reception to get it cleaned every time. Apart from that nothing to complain at all

The best thing was the free breakfast buffet in the mornings. They had such huge options of healthy food. Fruits, breast, variety of cheese, fruit juices, coffee, eggs, cornflakes, you name it and it's there

Excellent stay, our receptionist upon checking in was really nice and friendly which made everything better. Spacious room with 2 seats to chill. Quick less than 5 min walk to the train station

Me and my mother had a lovely week there and we would definitely go back! We really enjoyed the breakfast, the view from the premium room, the comfortable bed, the fitness, the lobby, the location and the friendly staff! :) We were extra delighted by the person who cleaned up very well our room every single day, we also got fresh towels, water/tea/coffee etc

The hotel was excellent and the breakfast too. It is located in the center of Cologne. The only problem I had was that I tried to call a lot of times the reception and nobody answered.

The location of the hotel is very good(close to the railway station and cathedral area). I can say that rooms are not big but they are okay

Friendly and helpful people, and there is baggage storage possible. The room was small but all you needed, there was an airco, hairdryer and tv available, personally the bed was a little hard

If you want to make breakfast at the hotel,it is better to make it outside with the cheaper price in compare to the hotel's price, The breakfast price was expensive

Rooms: The room we stayed in was excellent. It was clean and the bathroom was a good size. We had a nice view of the cathedral spires and the main station. The bed is king size and comfy

The noise is not an issue with the two windows closed but we loved the noise and kept them open. The free water was a brilliant thing to have and the free coffee until 11:30am is reaalllly good

Breakfast was quite poor - nothing warm to eat, but bread was very good. However you can eat early breakfast before your travel. People in the morning at the reception were super nice and helpful!

The food in the bar and restaurant were very good although quite expensive. The location is as good as it gets in Cologne - right next to the train station and in front of the cathedral

There was also a lot of private chatting among the staff in the bar and one member was occasionally swearing under his breath - obviously not in itself a problem but the layout of the bar made it impossible to ignore and made service feel a little less professional

Absolutely incredible stay at Holiday Inn Express Cologne (Köln), highly recommend staying here :) Parking is great for those that are travelling by car, the car park is directly next to/ underneath the hotel

You can access it through reception, no long walks to find your car. The room was amazing with fantastic views of the city which I've included. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was amazing

Great contentious experience while staying at Holiday Inn Express, Colonge, Germany. The amibition, helpful staff, thoughtfully designed the services that required at each occasion of the daily needs

Again we had to pay extra ! It is all about money and no goodwill at all. The breakfast is good, but nobody told us that on Monday the breakfast is earlier then Sunday, so we were too late for breakfast

It's a nice hotel, comfortable room. I missed a socket near the bed. Personally I'm not a fan of showering in the tub, but it worked. Breakfast rates are ridiculous in my opinion

Pity the costs were so high with the Euros on but would stay again for sure but book well in advance as 1700 euros for 3 nights was expensive by any standards

The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious options but what really made my breakfast great was one staff member Martina Braun-she went above and beyond to provide excellent service always with a smile on her face

This was my 12nd stay at this place. Honestly the best near to the airport. Shuttle at every time, nice and smiley staff. The most valuable handling is coffee next to reception at morning time

Short walk from the airport. Friendly staff; Lea-Marie and Parvina were able to offer early check-in. Spacious room, cleanly kept. Good amenities and ample natural light.

There is a generosity about this hotel that is all too rare these days. Heaps of toiletries in the bathroom, free minibar with beer and juices, and a magnificent breakfast. The outdoor elevator was an unexpected joy too

The hotel is excellent, comfortable, and clean, with spacious rooms. It is conveniently located near the city center, just 10-15 minutes by train to and from Cologne Cathedral. The price is relatively affordable.

Great location, u-bahn station is literally right outside the entrance it's a short journey on the train to hbf, nice easy stroll along the Rhine to the Chocolate museum and onwards to the centre for shopping and sightseeing if prefer to walk

The staff at the Mercure is top notch! We had trouble turning on our air conditioner and someone was in our room a few minutes after we called the front desk and solved the problem immediately

Yes, I did have the bathrobes and a balcony. But the view was on to a construction site. But I can live with that as we were only there for 2 nights. I would have liked a bin in the bedroom

Clean and tidy, no fuss, modern hotel. Note that right now (in times of Covid) the hotel restaurant is closed, but there are plenty of restaurants within a short walk.

Though the mini bar was nice, it would have been very good if there was a coffee and tea service in the room for guests who are not getting the buffet breakfast

Stayed here for 2 nights from Friday to Sunday. Overall it is a very nice hotel. you are not too far away from the old town of Cologne. We stayed on the 7th floor and it was a first class room

The stylish design and comfortable furnishings of the room created a real feel-good atmosphere. The halls of our floor were nicely decorated with urban art. Each floor had a different theme

- Great location - The sauna is very nice - Good sized rooms - Easy check in - Nice gym - The mattresses were very hard (this may be a pro for you depending on your preferences) - shower water temperature was not consistent

So all in all, some good points but definitely some areas to improve as well!

There is a small carpark below the hotel, which was always full during our stay, but thanks to that we found out that there is a much bigger and cheaper carpark (Parkhaus Am Friesenplatz) right across the road from the hotel

This is a very nice hotel, at a convenient location very close to the centre of Köln, and with ample eateries nearby. Rooms are comfortable, ours was a very spacious junior suite which we really enjoyed

One thing to note about this room type, is that it is quite dark, as there is only one window that provides the needed daylight, while the lights in the room are a bit dim

The room could be bigger and the gym would be better with some dumbells. The location is perfect (15-20 minutes walk to the center). There are bus stations at 4-6 minutes for the 132 and 133 line

Since all the important attractions are near Cologne Train Station, this hotel is off from the attractions and has to take train and walk for 8-9 minutes to reach hotel and again from hotel to metro station

Super hotel, super room's, nice staff, location is perfect, not in the city center but 10 minutes walking from it! You have bus station 100m from hotel! Lobby bar is nice,

You can walk 6-7 minutes to a road with many stores restaurants super market etc, just 2-3 blocks above the hotel
