This hotel is conveniently located near the city’s main attractions. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was really nice. There are plenty of choice to choose from. The staff was friendly and supportive.

The location is fantastic! Short walk to the cathedral and right on the scenic water. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and spoke great English. Would stay here again definitely!

Good location, cool lobby, and clean rooms. We stayed for 2 nights. Staff were very accommodating and provided extra items like dental and shaving kits. Also gave us muesli for not using room cleaning service.

im sorry to say a treadmill,a couple of exercise bikes & a multigym doesnt really add up to a suite. Also the changing rooms need addressing as there was only 2 booths to get changed in

Near to the altstadt and subway. Lots of bars and restaurants around. Nice hotel but some facilities are old, great reception desk. Good sauna and swimming pool. Break fast was ok

breakfast was probably one of the best we have experienced in Europe. One downside was the disappointing so called fitness suite

I am a traveller from India and stayed in this hotel for 6 days for a business trip in October. The experience was really good. They assign a double room even for a single person

The temperature could be controlled perfectly and also had automatic electric blinds. Had a small fridge, iron, dryer and everything. One of the most luxurious hotels I have ever stayed in

The only complaint was the room was not cleaned regularly, and I had to inform the reception to get it cleaned every time. Apart from that nothing to complain at all

Superb service, easily 5 star service. The staff was wonderful. Rooms are spacious, well appointed, with all amenities at hand. The food was great.

The washroom had a full bathtub, the shower ran great, and the lights were moody and awesome. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean

Took a short break in Cologne during weekend. Marriott is a nice place to stay with five minutes walk from the central station. Easy to find on arrival and easy for your departure by catching a train to airport

Location is great. Minutes of walk to the Central Station and Church. Shopping area is within walking distance. Highly recommend for tourists!

We had the Continental breakfast in the Executive lounge and it was excellent with everything you could want. I do have to say that the parking was extremely tight so if you have a bigger car be careful and take it slow

Hotel is clean n not far from train station. So is near to the Koln Catheral . Nearby also hv a restaurant that serve the best pork knuckle.

Very cozy bed and clean room with minimal noise. Except the WiFi takes a bit longer to activate but that’s fine

I had a great stay at Motel One Köln-Neumarkt. The hotel is in a fantastic location, conveniently close to the city center and right near public transport, making it easy to explore the area

The staff was friendly and helpful- special thanks to Rita from the breakfast team, she was so sweet, she brought me the breakfast roll I asked for straight to the table when they were freshly baked, absolute 5* service!!!!

We loved our stay in Motel One! The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. The location is great - all the main sightseeings are in walkable distance. The breakfast is really good too with lots of options

Stayed in December for Christmas markets. About 15-20 minute walk from the train station. Bed was a little hard, but that's just my preference. Lovely bar area and enjoyed the continental breakfast

They have one little bar of food and many many people coming down at the same time. We decided on the second day to go out and find breakfast. The room was small but ok for 2 nights

the service of the people working there as they were slow, unprepared and the mixed up the booking types. the decoration, style and facilities of Hilton Cologne are stuck in the 1960s. Not impressive or luxurius at all

Great location, this Hilton has great sized rooms, comfortable beds and perfect service.  Ideal for families and for those travelling via train as the station is only a 5 min walk

 Cathedral and old town are also very close by to explore

room size is ok, breakfast is ok, I would say this is a average hotel that not thing too good or bad. Free wifi and the speed is good, no bathtub, breakfast is the same everyday, very close to the Dom.

Absolutely incredible stay at Holiday Inn Express Cologne (Köln), highly recommend staying here :) Parking is great for those that are travelling by car, the car park is directly next to/ underneath the hotel

You can access it through reception, no long walks to find your car. The room was amazing with fantastic views of the city which I've included. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was amazing

Rooms on the smallish side but spotless. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast is typical continental but very filling and freshly prepared

Good hotel near the centre in Cologne. Reception areas clean and well maintained

The hotel is centrally located, which is very convenient. However, I was surprised to find there was no refrigerator in the room—something I would consider a basic amenity, especially during the hot summer months

The breakfast was decent as we we are able to have some hot scrambled eggs, bacon, pastries and coffee before heading off to the wedding in the morning. The location was fantastic- walking distance from the train station

The café-lounge area is also excellent if you have to hang around before catching your flight, with comfortable seating, warm drinks available and plenty of charging ports for you to plug in your devices

The hotel also allowed us to store our luggage there after check-out as we had an evening flight, and lent us an umbrella as it was raining outside

They were so helpful helping us figure out the best way to our wedding venue, and they arranged a later check-out time for us

Otherwise very good and only one stop away from the Central Station

Excellent stay at this hotel, very comfy beds and a really clean room. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful including Thore who made a lasting impression with his helpfulness and conversation with us

The room itself on the 6th floor was very spacious with three beds and a seating corner, and it had a beautiful view over the city and the cathedral. The bathroom had both a shower and a bathtub

There is parking for a fee located on site (was €48 euros for two nights). Located next to a few restaurants if you need a bite to eat. Easy to walk to downtown area - about a 25 min walk to the center

I loved that they offered free coffee and water in the lobby, such a nice touch. The room had double windows, so even though it’s close to the station, it was completely quiet once the windows were shut

It is convenient, located very close to Cologne's Train Station. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The artwork, signage, furniture and music combine well to create an excellent atmosphere full of great vibes!

The location is tough to beat, as it is close to the train station (don’t worry, the rooms are incredibly well sound proofed), the Cathedral, and a few subway stops that can take you anywhere you want to go

Went just to take a mini holiday for the weekend. The rooms with a view of the cathedral and the train station are louder because they face the streets. I should not have paid extra for the view option

Centrally located business hotel with very modern and clean rooms. Large Breakfast buffet and very tasty food. The staff are very friendly. Many meeting rooms with good facilities and top hospitality.

The location is a bit far from the city center, which may not be ideal if you plan to explore the downtown area frequently. Check-in is only available after 3:00 PM, which felt a bit inconvenient

The hotel is nice and has parking for a fee. It is not far from the city center, and it takes 10 minutes to walk to eat Chinese food

This hotel is very new and well-equipped. It is a very cost-effective hotel in Europe. The transportation is convenient overall, but if you use public transportation, you should be careful when you come back at night

Room was spotless and had decent amenities. Would much rather have had a TV I could connect to my own Netflix etc. than a pointless Marshall speaker. The Galley idea is great, but please provide proper tea

They have an own concept called "lean luxury", two completely opposite words meaning in real life that: the walls are "industrial style", there's no carpet, the ambiance is cold (low temperature as well as figuratively cold), the sink is literally 1 meter away from the bed and you have to do your own check-in on a screen at the bar

But the breakfast feels a little incomplete and the personal could be a bit more helpful. All in all, Ruby is an amazing bar & lounge that has a hotel attached to it

The bar downstairs (that serves as a reception) is really good, cocktails are amazing and I'm all in for the "free drink" offer instead of daily room cleaning

But they provide some non-essentials as a Marshall speaker and a Marshall guitar amp, in case you wanna grab a guitar from the bar and "jam" in your room

Some might like the concept, but I think there are places that might be more suitable for the average business traveler

Great luxury hotel with a nice old fashioned vibe. Located in close proximity to the railway station, right next to the Cologne Cathedral. The staff is exceptionally friendly and hospitable

The location slightly far from the central station and other sightseeing , yet it walkable . There is a tram station infront Of this hotel which will be handy if someone don’t wish to walk much .

Apparently that's a Germany-wide thing? Which is weird to me personally, because if you step into a Rossmann or a Rewe, you'll get mountains of tea. And yet I had to go back to the reception each time

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had booked for day use (10am-5pm) rather than overnight. My room wasn’t ready for my check in so they let have the room until 6pm instead which was great.

I loved ibis Koeln messe. It was so nice we almost extending our stay. It had a home feel and was just so peaceful. Breakfast was amazing. Loved everything about the hotel. The best ibis I have stayed.

Entrance to the hotel is straight line walking a cross the Brenzlauer Platz, about 100 m. Two small downsides: The mattress of the bed should be renewed and replaced with a harder one

Excellent location, opp Central station. Staff friendly and attentive. Room is clean. Enjoy my stay. Only comment is toilet is small and the sink needs to change. Will return in future.

The hotel is very cautious about security. Before entering, need to press doorbell then the staff will allow you to enter. Also, need to use hotel card to enter into residential area

And their was some disturbing noise (I am sensitive to noise, in particular at night) from either the compressor or larger blower of some air-conditioning (mine AC was switched off)

The breakfast was varied and fresh, so I was satisfied every morning. Above all, the location was great, so I could walk to major tourist attractions and restaurants, which made my travel route very convenient

I stayed in the annex hotel not  main hotel booking and would have been a better experience as I had to cross the street  to go to the hotel restaurant for breakfast

As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I was impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff. The room was wider and cleaner than the photos, and the bedding was soft and I was able to get a good night's sleep

It's a really nice hotel with really well behaved staff. It's just a 3-5 mins walk from the U-Bahn. The only problem- the Nespresso machine was faulty and wasn't working

You can see Cologne Cathedral directly from the room, and the walk to the cathedral is also very beautiful. Recommended! The staff are very enthusiastic

A nice budget hotel. Room was really fresh and modern. Location was a bit outside of the center, however everything was still reachable by foot or public transportation

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was more than fine for 13. The rooms were clean , beds were comfy enough and the room feel spacious enough for a budget hotel. All in all I recommend the place

Well it is budget ibis version with the budget standard. I have to sag that the hotel service staff is MOST HELPFUL there and their work devoted. Very close to Lanxess Arena which was crucial to me.

Great place to stay. Priced well as a place to sleep. Some services available but it's called "IBIS Budget" for a reason.

The main con was the toilet paper which was a bit cheap and rough. The location felt safe, but there aren't many things or restaurants around this area, only hotels. So you need to take the public transport instead

The Hotel is located right in the centre of Cologne to the Party mile Friesenplatz. Unfortunately, you can hear the music at night until 6 o'clock in the morning, so the falls have a quiet Sleep difficult

I stayed here for almost an entire month on my business trip to Cologne. The hotel is almost at the heart of the city and very well connected by local transport just a minute walk from Friesenplatz underground station

Had breakfast first morning, basic continental, coffee fine and asked for a couple of fried eggs. The hotel has big rooms, nicely decorated throughout, showing a couple of signs of age but not enough to put you off

It's very easy to walk to anywhere in the Aldstadt from the Allegro (we just walked straight up the Rhein for a few minutes to get to/from the train station). Clean, relatively spacious rooms, and free wifi

This was a great hotel in Cologne. The hotel is right on the Rhein, so opening the windows provides a nice breeze

Rooms are a little small but very clean and comfortable hotel. And it is only a few stops away by train from köln expedition area.

The Breakfast is great and in a pleasant atmosphere. The Hotel is not necessarily cheap, especially if account is taken of the small room. But still, The location is 1a, and the mood

If you have a room to the rear out, you can sleep right in the middle of Cologne easily with the window open. The old walls in the summer is still nice and cool without AC

The rooms are very small, there are high Ceilings and chic but Spartan facilities: The atmosphere of a monastery still lies in the whole building
