They gave me a room far inside the hotel, far from the elevator.They don't even change rooms, and if you go with family, you may have to see a hard time. I do not recommend it for family

Perfect for a two day stay, specially if you are going to an event in the Koln Lanxess Arena. Not much to do close by, but perfect walking distance from the venue, subway, and some restaurants. The staff is super friendly, and the rooms clean and look just as advertised.

The room didn’t have a working air conditioner. We left the window open but it was loud all night because of the people waiting for cabs/buses. The breakfast was delicious though. The whole place isn’t horrible but we paid way too much for this place.

Check in was abysmal. Some kind of system problem meant that was a big queue of people. Once served I was checked in swiftly so didnt find out what the problem was. Love this hotel, stayed here for the second time this weekend. Large quiet room, humongous comfy bed, and fantastic breakfast buffet! Service is good and parking is expensive (€20) but secure. We ate at the Italian place inside with the gorgeous bar and the staff went out of their way to make us happy, the burger was also delicious. The lobby is modern and stunning and even SMELLS good.

My fiancé and I stayed here July 2025 to attend a wedding just outside Cologne. Everything about our stay was excellent and we felt we received great value for money. Great and flexible staff! Location is a bit outside but mostly quiet. Tram station right in front of the house. If you use car sharing it’s not so easy to find a parking spot close by.

The location is excellent, a 10 minute walk from the majestic Cologne Cathedral, situated in the heart of the city. The staff greet you with a warm welcome and remain this way throughout your stay. Went just to take a mini holiday for the weekend. The rooms with a view of the cathedral and the train station are louder because they face the streets. The location of the hotel is very good(close to the railway station and cathedral area). I can say that rooms are not big but they are okay. If you want to make breakfast at the hotel,it is better to make it outside with the cheaper price in compare to the hotel's price, The breakfast price was expensive.

I absolutely loved this hotel. For me one the best I stayed. The rooms are fantastic I loved the marshall speakers. The room is spacious very well designed and has great soundproof, nobody heard my music and neither did I hear my next door sound. To get in and out as well as the elevator you use your card which I think is great for safety. Overall a 10 hotel for me I definitely recommend it

Parking pricey if you use the hotel car park, but you might be lucky enough to be able to park outside. Breakfast also expensive for what you get. Nice clean friendly hotel though and would stay there again.

Lovely room and helpful reception staff. Nice king size bed but two small duvets (smaller than single I'd say). Didn't replenish coffee facilities on first day so we called and requested some and they hadn't arrived half hour later so had to chase. Didn't eat here but restaurant and menu looked decent

Been here many times over the years. I sleep well when I stay which is perhaps the main thing? Room was incredibly warm in December, and room controls override not available so just turned off radiator and opened windows to cool it down.

It's a really nice hotel with really well behaved staff. The breakfast is really good. The location was good. It's just a 3-5 mins walk from the U-Bahn. The only problem- the Nespresso machine was faulty and wasn't working.

The best part of the stay was the desk attendants ( Olga and Constance). They did everything they could to make the stay the best it could be.  Overall the room was way overpriced for what it offered. The room was lacking many of the standard amenities that other hotels offer. Even to the point you have to request room cleaning and hope to get it. Not good I find it hard to understand how this property has a 4 star rating. Gym was a cupboard. Rooms only cleaned and refreshed on request. Aircon barely functioning. Breakfast overpriced and not good. Bathrooms poorly equipped. All of that said, the staff were amazing, so friendly and accommodating.

Lovely management at reception. I stayed for 4 nights. The rooms are well priced , with breakfast as an extra starting from 8 euros. Local shops are around the corner if you need anything. No kettle or microwave in my room, but was not needed from my end. Local tram stop is next door going directly into town, with the river Rhine a few meters away.

Spacious room, that's nice. Bathroom was not clean enough (traces of toothpaste and shaving cream at the sink). Floor of the room was too dusty, apparently not vacuumed. I solved this myself by wiping the entire floor with a wet towel. That was disappointing because otherwise it is a nice hotel.

There is little kiosk adjacent to the hotel, where you can buy drinks, light snacks and candy. No restaurants or bars near by, therefore just 4 stars due to the deserted location.

It was a bit hard to find but the rooms were clean and looked good. The staff was exceptionally friendly. At check-in they even opened the terrace just for me. Overslept my check-out by half an hour and they made no problem of it, charged me nothing extra. "You partied a bit to hard it happens, no problem" . Great people, will go there again next time.

Property situated very close to Subway. We were surprised that they have Fee $.50 for early check in. And for baggage storage $.5 as never experienced any such charges. Room sizes were very compromising two luggage bags and no space to walk. Lobby is nice as usually in same vicinity usually lobby is not that nice. Over all good experience.

This is a huge hotel in a great location, Penn Station across the street. The hotel has been remodeled but still has a lot of art deco features that appeal to travelers like myself. We had a very large room on a high floor that was very quiet and had a great view. The hotel is very busy, but hey it’s NYC. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing gem of a hotel. A lovely two room apartment with a MASSIVE lounge with fridge, sink and a hob. All rooms overlooked an amazing courtyard with a restaurant with outdoor seating. Not noisy in any way, just the sound of people's muffled discussions. A fantastic hotel that I recommend!

I had a lovely two days stay at your hotel. Surprised of the room with a view, really apreciated the small terrace at the back of the room. Nice comfy beds. I was informed of the building works prior to the stay, but had not much inconvenience of it and the second night I slept with windows open and was not disturb by it. Great breakfast and nice to see that at 9.30 warm buns were restocked.

Location is perfect with easy access to city and great eating quarters. Staff were excellent, and anything you wanted, they were eager to help. The rooms were good size, with coffee machine provided. The only downside is that the shower is inside a bath with a very big step in and out. I'm 69 and fit. I managed fine but I can see this being a problem for some people.
