Perfect room. Comfy bed. However... our privacy was disrupted during our first day when other guests got into our room using the same key. I suppose this happens because all the rooms on the same floor have the same key, since the key also opens the middle hallway door that goes to the rooms. Also, Saturday night was very noisy due to the pub downstairs.

An absolute must if you want to experience the Kölsche culture, locals, food. Bier is the best and made in-house. Food is typical Cologne culture and amazing. We would have loved to be able to try the entire menu. Service is excellent and food is fast. Our hotel room was upstairs. Lovely room and very convenient. If I could return I would choose to stay here again.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We had a room at the backside of the hotel. Just outside of the rooms, there is a ventilation unit, which is running non stop and makes some noise. When we checked out on Sunday. We wanted to leave our bags in the hotel, and pick them up in the evening before we go back home. Located in great area, there's a great pub downstairs where you can get a free Bier, good German food and nice welcoming from the bartender. Only 2 tram-stops away from Koelnmesse. Room is spacious, well-refurbished and well-organized. Perfect for both business trip and sightseeing. Definitely will come back to this place.

The staff is fantastic and very helpful! I arrived early and I was tired and the woman in the reception with a very beautiful smile did the check in for me and let me go into my room. The location is good because is just 13 minutes walking from the Central Station and all the museums and principal attractions are around. The breakfast was good and varied. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Cozy and friendly hotel in the center and good price. Don't expect a fancy luxurious place but to spend your nights, have a decent bath and accessible to anywhere in the city, this hotel delivers. The only problem is the WiFi which is not working properly from time to time. However, the staff is super friendly too help out.

Really good value for money. Breakfast was a variety of cereals, juices and breads with cheese and hams and even provided Scrambled and boiled eggs. Room and bathroom was really clean especially things like shower certain and sheets. There was some white grime in the corner of the bathroom floor but nothing aweful and a slight stain on 1 of the towels but we just swapped it. Some noise from outside...

Centrally located. Nothing elegant or sophisticated but rooms are of good size, clean and renovated furniture. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast is more than adequate, fresh with the tipica German food you would expect. Wifi works very well. The only negative point, there is no elevator.

Insanely great-value Hostel with a Top location. More Of A Hotel Feel To It. The only drawback is the Wi-Fi, in that you have to re-login.

Service was great. Everyone working there was happy and helpful. All the rooms and bathrooms were clean. The kitchen had everything you needed and was all new. Only downsides were the WiFi would sometimes cut out and outlets in the rooms were in odd spots.

Stayed for a quick reward night. He was VERY courteous at check in and recognized my status. They nailed my preferences, top floor-end unit. To top it off, a large complimentary Kölsch killed it!

Hotel was clean and tidy. Breakfast served was good. The only concern for us was it is almost 45 mins to the center. The bus stop is about 10-12 min walk from the hotel and then a 35 min ride to central station. In the limited time we were there we lost time travelling from the hotel to the central station. Additionally, there are no restaurants around the hotel with the exception of one pizza place...

Overall the rooms are nice and clean and a good size. The breakfast service is great and the pancakes are so fun just like other reviews suggest. The McDonald's is directly next door which is always a bonus and there's a bus stop down the road which can take you to the centre.

I’ve stayed here before so I knew what to expect. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Not much in the area unless you want to walk 20-30 minutes for some restaurant options or a train station. A chain hotel that does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

This was an amazing experience, the service was on point and a worker called Omer was so kind and welcoming. The room was very clean and the bathroom was even better! I was very pleased with everything, and especially the breakfast, where they had a variety of options and a pancake machine.

The room was lovely, large size, and very clean, but the website isn't very accurate in regards to the breakfast times (online states 10am, staff on shift claimed till 9.30am only during the week. She did allow us to eat, though, so maybe just a translation issue on the website), or the option to extend to a late check out (online states for €15 can stay till 3 pm. Nice small hotel with friendly staff and a nice breakfast.

Mattress covers aren’t even tight so they slide off during the night. Woke up sweating everywhere and my skin sticked to the mattress protector because it was a plasticy material. Furthermore a good hotel

The location was great (10 min from the HBF) and the room was clean but people should be aware the hotel is in the center of a construction project, tearing down and rebuilding multiple buildings and they start at 7 or 8 am in the morning. It is pretty loud and makes it difficult to open the window.

The hotel overall was pretty good. I have absolutely no idea why the reviews are so bad. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the cleaning lady came once in two days. Free tea and coffee available 24/7. The only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was the absence of mini bar. I enjoyed out stay and def would recommend the hotel to the budget travellers.

Reasonable place for business trip. The location is quite convinient, not so far from Koelne Messe Detuz and from Main Train Station, DOM and etc. - all just in walking distance. Unfortunately lack of amenities in the standard room, no coffee and no tea maker.

Awesome location. Nice little hotel. A pity there was no breakfast but we found plenty and owner recommended a good place as well. Good price. Very small room but had everything we needed. Parking was convenient just at the other side of street and price also ok.

The owner was really helpful in everything that we needed. He had a geniuine interest for everything to be alright in our staying in the hotel, and we felt more like 'guests' than 'customers', something we really appreciated. We spent there 5 days. Definately recommended!

This hotel is really cosy. I visited during a remodel, but the staff was friendly and the noise was kept to a minimum. I will stay here the next time I'm in Cologne.

This is the best value for money you can find. It is modern, stylish, with a great breakfast and lovely staff. They really think about their guests needs. The lack of elevator is a small problem the bigger one are the works going on just outside the hotel. It is very noisy and spoils the quiet of the place. It is not their fault but it will take at least a year till it will end.

Let's be honest here. The service and facility is minimal and no air conditioning. However we got the rooms facing the courtyard and oh boy is it a beautiful scene, the windows are designed to open sideways with a small balcony and just standing there looking at the busy area is fantastic. If you get those rooms you'll fall in love with how cozy this hotel is. And it's smack down in the middle of it...

A good experience,nice location with convenient transportation, subway station and train station are 3 minutes walk out. A clean room with warm heating in very chilly weather.

Relative to the prices, this is a great place to stay at. The staff are very helpful and kind. It’s close to the Koln Hbf and walking distance to several places to get food.
