Great contentious experience while staying at Holiday Inn Express, Colonge, Germany. The amibition, helpful staff, thoughtfully designed the services that required at each occasion of the daily needs. Ideal location and easy to reach the place in minimum time using public transportation. I strongly recommend people worth staying for the value price.

Good hotel clean new. Location is ok. Breakfast is OK. Airconditioning is not so great (i Like really cold airco) the drapes are 100% light resistant but on the top it doesn't really close that well so you see little light coming through. Overall a good hotel.

I love to stay here after late inbound flight

The hotel is located inside the airport, which results in daily parking fees that are quite high—almost half the cost of the room. Also, because it’s close to the airport, you can still hear the sound of planes taking off and landing. However, overall, it’s quite clean. The only other drawback is that it’s relatively far from the city center. All in all, it’s still pretty good.

This one is just okay. It does the job. It's not a big room, but for the most part it has everything you'd expect. I am a tea addict and there was no kettle. Apparently that's a Germany-wide thing? Which is weird to me personally, because if you step into a Rossmann or a Rewe, you'll get mountains of tea. And yet I had to go back to the reception each time.

Laid back hotel, with expectational service. The rooms are nice and big. Washroom's a big plus. Wish they could've had a little refrigerator in the room. All in all, loved the stay and would 100% recommend.

Although it is a little far from the station, there are many restaurants nearby, so it was convenient. There are only stairs on some floors, so it is a little difficult to move large luggage. However, the staff will help you move your luggage. I had a very comfortable stay.

Great location. Everything is within easy reach and it's quiet. They have a handheld hairdryer and disposable slippers. The bed is huge and comfortable.

It's close to Cologne Cathedral, and you could even see a little bit of the top of the cathedral from the balcony! Because the room was spacious, the heating wasn't very effective. Also, the entrance to the hotel was a little hard to find. There was a supermarket called REWE downstairs. I was able to use hot water from the kettle in what seemed to be the breakfast area in front of the front desk.

The hotel provides only basic amenities, and is located on the top level of a parking garage which i found a bit inconvenient. Also the fact that we needed to wait for half an hour for check in because reception was empty didn't make it better. The location is in the very center of the city though.

Very standard and very acceptable hotel room. Disappointed the food options basically were snacks from a Petrol station or KFC. On the August weekend when I stayed there was basically nothing else on offer. Of course the S-Bahn wasn't that far away, so going into the city would have been an option.

It's a good hotel, but be ready to call the service, as the check-in caused us some issues. Note that there is only self-check-in. The only five-star rating we got was for the front desk staff; they were very nice. However, we couldn't believe this was supposed to be a three-star hotel. We tolerated the extremely small room and bed, and the lack of amenities—almost nothing at all—but in the dead of winter, several bugs were crawling on the bed. Perfect room. Comfy bed. However... our privacy was disrupted during our first day when other guests got into our room using the same key. I suppose this happens because all the rooms on the same floor have the same key, since the key also opens the middle hallway door that goes to the rooms. It is decent. Overall it was good, the placement is good and the staff was good. They helped us with parking in their garage that is just outside. The downside was that it was 30 degrees and we couldent get the room temperatur down so we had aprox the same outside temperatur inside, was hard too cool off when going too sleep.
