Hotel Vis à vis

We arrived late in the evening for our stay at the hotel, we had previously arranged with reception to pick up our room keycard from a machine outside the hotel as the entrance is not staffed 24 hours. This all worked as planned and we were able to access our room with no assistance. There is some parking outside the hotel, or a multi-storey 5 minutes walk away for more space. The room was small but comfortable, the bathroom was more spacious, but I think that's because we had been given an "accessible" room despite not needing it! Breakfast was included, and was standard German fare, although a second coffee/juice machine would have been helpful as there was often a queue. Overall, a standard 3* hotel in a great spot for exploring Lindau.

Well located a minutes to the harbour. We had a spacious room with a small seating area. Although a long walk to the room from the lift. Looks like this hotel has taken up two buildings connected . Pillows not good but that seems to be a given in this part of Germany. No extras in room like fridge , water , kettle . No shampoo or conditioner just some soap. Standard 3 star. But it was quiet and sheets were fresh. Very clean room. Did not use breakfast as not included in my rate .

We had a great stay at the hotel for NYE. The staff were brilliant, helpful, really friendly and made our stay even better! The rooms are large, clean - although slightly dated but that's personal tatse and opinion! Location is directly opposite the train station without any noise or issues! Very handy!

The reception was welcoming. The beds were comfortable and clean as were the shower and the toilet. But the bedroom was too hot. the view isn’t the best. The rooms were carpeted red with centre walls giving it a slightly old fashioned feel. On this hot day, airco would have helped more than the table fans… The breakfast was very hearty and a wide range of food available

Located vis a vis railway station and the town. Proper room accomodation. Nice and helpful service - providing indormation about restaurants and history of the town. Bike room available. Great breakfast. Vending machine on the ground floor - great idea for hot days.

If it wasn’t for the terribly hard mattress, this place would get 5 stars from me. Super friendly staff who could give us detailed information about the surroundings (including free map). Awesome location near the harbor and on the opposite side of the train station. We travel by motorcycle and the fact that we were offered a parking spot in the hotels garage was a nice surprise. Great breakfast buffet with a lot to choose from.
There was no AC in the room, but a fan that really did its job. No fridge/mini bar in the room, but there is a wendig machine in the Lobby. We didn’t try the wi-fi so I can not say anything about that, sorry. Check out is at 11, but we were told that there are lockers that can be used, free of charge if you need to store your stuff a bit longer while you enjoy the surroundings. Even the parking garage could be used after check out. We will be staying at this location again, and will definitely recommend it to others.

Great hotel at a convenient location. The rooms are standard, no special features but clean and with all you would expect from a 3 star hotel.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the breakfast buffet was out of this world! Any sliced meat and cheese known to men was available, many different kinds of bread and rolls, fruit, salad, cereals yoghurt... The hotel is 3 star, but the breakfast is worthy of a 5 star hotel.
Can happily recommend this place and would definitely go back when in Lindau again.

Awesome place, good breakfast. Recommended for small duration stays.. exactly in front of lindau hbf makes lufe very easy for the connectivity if you want to visit any other place...
