Good clean hotel, in a residential area about 15-20 minute walk from the main square in Mainz. Balcony was a bonus - and being near to a supermarket was good too. Staff were friendly. Rooms are really clean and good size. Breakfast was average but enough available to start the day in a good way. Would recommend

The location is very central. I was able to check in at any time; I used the contactless check-in after reception opened. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. One small drawback is that there was no air conditioning and the fan didn't work.
I would avoid the hotel during the height of summer, but otherwise I would be happy to stay there again.

Really great budget hotel! Within walking distance of everything you could want to see in Mainz and very friendly staff. Would recommend.

Since the hotel I was staying at was full, I booked this hotel for my daughter because it was only a few minutes away from our hotel.
The only thing I have to complain about is that the window, when tilted, was tilted towards you because the hinges were broken.
The train station is about a 10-minute walk.
There are also many restaurants and shops, such as a Rewe supermarket, nearby.
Mainz city center is about 15 minutes away.
So, all in all, within walking distance.

Staff was overall friendly and location is not far away from railway station. The rooms are medieval, nothing like in the photos, wifi connection non-existent. Shower head was broken and very uncomfortable to use. Walls are too thin and one can hear basically everything. There are much better options available in the same price range.

- The room itself looks quite old, so what you see on the photos it is not what you will get. Everything is very used, ancient, squeeky and so on.
- I had room on the last floor and the internet did not work at all. I could connect time to time, but it was so weak I could not work.
- Reception works only litte time per day. Couple of hours at the morning and a bit afternoon. So you do not have any ability to leave your luggage if hotel is closed.
- The bed was uncomfortable. TV-set is something from medieval times and just useless.
- They do not clean your room even if you explicitely put "make my room" on the door. The only change in may four night stay was pretending to clean. Even bed clothes weren't changed. Once I've got new towels.

The service was good in general. As for the cost, perhaps they should include a fridge in the apartment.

The room was very spacious and windows could be opened for fresh air which was great. The bed was a nice size but the mattress was so soft and bouncy for my taste which made it less comfortable. The internet was terrible. The heater made a loud noise when turned up.

I was given a code to get my key, but it did not work and when I finally managed to get someone on the phone, they turned me down by saying that they don’t have a key for me. So I had to find another place last minute in the middle of the night, because of their poor management. I was charged the full price and not given a refund as well. They told *********** that I didn’t show up to get their money. Stay away from this terrible hotel if you can! It is a scam.
