Both the shower and heater in my room were broken. Received no apologies, but a good dose of nonchalance when reported. The rooms are relatively sizable though, and the vintage-style decor is appealing.

Giving it a one star because of the attitude of the staff. We had the apartment on the last floor and spent some time around 2pm on the balcony talking. Not playing music, not screaming or laughing loudly, just normal tone conversations. Some people from the building across from the hotel (which is about 10 meters away) called the Hotel for disturbance reasons and the person who was on shift that night came to us and threatened to call the police and to kick us out. I explained to him that we weren’t making any noise, but he insisted that we shouldn’t stay on the balcony or he would call the police and throw us out, despite not breaking any law or agreement with the hotel it’s self. We were staying during the Euro Cup and we probably wouldn’t have found anything else. It was disappointing to be treated like this by an employee of a hotel which is quite nice after all.

It’s not too expensive and right next to a train station. I ahead a train the next morning and wanted to be right next to the central station but this is very close in train and in a much better area.
Plus it’s vintage, but really pretty! They also had amenities and tea and coffee to enjoy. Would be keen to try the breakfast next time. Definitely recommend!

Great hotel in a perfectly quiet neighborhood. The service at the hotel is exceptional. We also enjoyed the breakfast that was fully stacked with excellent items.

I stayed one night at the hotel. Got a big room in a special offer from a booking site. The room was big, and the bed was comfortable, as well as the pillow. They provide a spare clean pillow in the cupboard. Nice to have bottled water, a water boiler, along with instant coffee, tea, etc, in the room. The room and bathroom were clean. The location was great, only a few minutes away from an U-Bahn station, Bockenheimer Warte, which was two stops away from Frankfurt main ststion. The ambience is nice. However, if you're a light sleeper, of course you'll always have ear plugs and sleep masks wherever you go.

Great location next to the ubahn which is just 2 stops from Hauptwache. The room surprised us: very clean and spacious therefore we felt very comfortable. The reception staff was also nice. Price was alright. Would definitely come back!!

Excellent place to stay in Frankfurt. Everyone from the team is very kind and spoke English very well without making faces for us when they were asked to speak English (which we weren't used to during the rest of our trip).
The room was very comfortable and had a good size for two persons, containing everything necessary for a stay, such as luggage support, coffee, and other great adds (slippers, sewing kit, teas...).
As for the location, nothing to complain.You can walk 15 minutes in a beautiful street and get to the touristic center of the city. Moreover, there's subways and bus stops very close to the hotel. In the street (which is very beautiful and calm), there are good options for breakfast, a small market and pharmacy.

Very satisfied. Good bed nice room/ bathroom. I stayed 3 good days here.

The room's A/C would not stop making a noise during the evening (even after being switched off) – making it difficult to sleep. This is the main reason for my negative review. However, the staff said they would like to address this problem for future guests of the room I was staying in.
The hotel was also nearly inaccessible by phone: nobody answered for hours as I was trying to reach someone following my stay for receiving a receipt.
Location is great (also next to an U-Bahn station), and a good breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful in person.

The room is good for solo trip for one to two days. Rooms are too small. But the hotel decoration is impressive.
