That was cold, not recommended for winter stays! Rooms have no heaters at all. You probably are supposed to use noisy A/C for heating but it didn't warm up the room despite of setting (which is limited to +5C). Maybe this+5C is relative to outside temperature but anyway the room temperature was +18C only. It seems they know it because duvets are rather thick but honestly it's not what I expect from staying in the hotel. Also the room has no shelves at all, so you are supposed to store all your stuff in your bags all the time. Overall, my stay was surprisingly uncomfortable. I had better prior experience with other Niu hotels, that is the worst so far.

Frequent traveller and IHG Ambassador here - Word of Caution
There are some warnings in the reviews that the hotel was charging higher prices than the booking rate. I ignored this because I booked over the IHG app as always. Didn't give it another thought.
Unfortunately after checking in at the hotel and after handing over my card details, I received a message that my credit card had been charged. The amount was higher than the booking rate in the app, and that shown in the confirmation e-mail.
I had not checked out, and I had not given permission to charge my card.
Indeed, after checking again the rate I had signed at the desk was indeed higher than the confirmed booking rate.
I brought the matter up to the front desk, and they refunded the difference. Then some days later, that difference was again re-booked from the same credit card again.
I wrote to the hotel, and received no response after some time.
I then wrote to IHG, and received a response that the matter would be followed up. After some time, no resolution was made.
So the warnings that the hotel is charging rates higher than what is received in the booking confirmation is unfortunately correct and will not be resolved after follow up. The difference is not city or tourist tax - it is the nightly rate charged on the room.
It was not a life-changing amount, some 15-20%, but I had specifically booked this hotel over another IHG hotel based on price, and would have taken the other hotel based on the actual charged rate and location. (difficult to reach)
The fact that the rate was not correctly advertised, nor rectified after some weeks (months) of trying meant that I felt compelled to leave this unfortunate experience in a review.

The hotel is newly opened and very clean. The rooms are nice and clean but there is no minibar and wardrobe in the room. You hang your clothes on a steel pipe next to the bed.The breakfast room is very small and there are very few products. The parking garage is paid, these add minus to the hotel.

Great hotel with lovely people, breakfast was delicious with croissants, scrambled eggs, cornflakes, fresh Coffee, awesome!!
The parking garage was very spacious and you came very easy to the appartement from the garage.
The room was light and comfortable, nice bathroom, you can take a shower with 2 persons together, the view from the window on the 5th floor is directly at the Mercedes factory.
Outside we drank a beer on the terrace in the sun, very nice place to stay, we will come back someday, that is for sure!!

The hotel is ok. Just no water in rooms, and breakfast space is quite small, so you need to wait while someone will finish or sit together.
Bar of the restaurant I guess good for drinks but not for food. Unfortunately.
We stayed during the exhibition time in Messe so travel time by taxi was about 10min and that was important for us.
Anyway, I recommend this for short stay.

Very nice hotel with very impolite personnel. Despite a two-day reservation, they kicked out one of my group members after one night without even apologizing for their mistake. Stay away from them

The rooms were of great size and very modern. AC worked well and was relatively easy to control. Bathroom was spacious and nicely decorated. Room was very clean. The in-wall speaker was an amazing touch, and gave films and series on a secondary device spatial audio. Music had good sound too. I initially booked for 3 adults in 2 rooms, but was upgraded to a single premium room with 3 beds. Upon request this was quickly reverted as I intentionally booked for separate rooms. Staff was kind and spoke good English. Breakfast was amazing, fresh and a lot of choices available. Gluten free options too!
Only downsides were that the howerhead was leaky, causing a slight loss of pressure. The size of the bathroom caused a lot of echo, changing the way music played on a device sounded. To finalise, the parking was very pricey at 15,- per day.

Modern hotel with a nice interior style. Its location is excellent if you travel by car. Public transport is not ideal but Uber or Taxi can accommodate therefore.
The staff is friendly. Unfortunately, during check-in the counter was understaffed and check-in was delayed. We did self-checkin on their homepage, but the self check-in terminals to get the room's key-cards didn't work. The rooms are very modern and clean. Login codes for the bluetooth speakers were missing, so they could not be used. Breakfast was okay but not great and pretty expensive for the offered food. During breakfast hours, they were understaffed and ran behind to fill up the buffet.
In summary, there were some glitches in different areas but we enjoyed our stay at the Niu Hub.

in the end we were given a room for people with disabilities, citing the fact that there were no more rooms available

Modern hotel with new, very clean rooms.
Sound insulation is ok, I could hear other guests entering and leaving their rooms.
Service at the reception is very much lacking: poor check-in process (considering an online check-in option is available and I had done it and submitted all my details beforehand, as well as pre-paid), and the reception clerk who attended me unfortunately had no idea what he was doing. Kept staring indefinitely at his screen, and checking with a colleague, who rushed him to “don’t loose time with that text, go on”. What should have been possibly a 1min process - given I had pre-checkedin and pre-paid - took over 15min.
