This Hotel is difficult to review.
On one hand our room was clean, free drinks, and quite good furniture in the room.
On the other hand the A/C wasn't working so it was quite hot. Service at the front desk is terrible, they look clueless (though friendly). We had to pay for parking, which Expedia didn't mention on their website (€16/day). Besides that a broken elevator, indeed also as seen in other reviews also quite some 'out of the ordinary' looking people.
Breakfast is €25. Sandwiches at the local gas station were €3-4.
If you need the location, it's a good hotel. But expect your hotel card to stop working and having to re-activate it daily at the front desk. ^That's pretty much the moral of the story.

We had a great stay in conjunction with the musical Tina and a visit to Stuttgart.
The only surprise was that German was a foreign language at the hotel (I am bi lingual, so not a problem), however I do find it strange.
Anyway, we had a great time and friendly service too.

Spent quite a bit of time here and we absolutely loved it. The suite is so spacious and the views are wonderful. Lovely staff that are attentive and extremely helpful. Numerous restaurants on site, a cafe, a spa, and casino as well! Proximity to entertainment is wonderful as well; right by two theaters as well as a movie theater. Better still the U-Bahn is only steps away. Really such a convenient location and superb lodging!

Completely overpriced, and definitely not a 4-star hotel, but a scam!
I booked two "comfort" double rooms with King sized bed. The corridor outside the room smelled rather unpleasant. When we opened the door to the room we were shocked to find a large white empty room, with one king-sized bed in the corner next to the window. There was no sofa / table for lounging, there was not desk, there was no chair -- not even a telephone in the room. It looked very unpleasant, like a hospital room. There were also no towels in the bathroom. We immediately cancelled. Don't waste your money on the Dormero - there are better options nearby.

I've stayed here multiple times in the past, but this most recent one left me feeling like the hotel is losing its luster. I got in late and had to change rooms twice because my first two rooms didn't have working air. The staff was very helpful with getting me a new room. One of the elevators didn't work, and another one didn't have a working button for my floor.
The hotel is in a fantastic location, and there are multiple restaurants on the premises and within walking distance. All in all, it's a great location at a great price, but this stay just felt like the hotel wasn't at its peak anymore.

We booked a Comfort room, but we got Standard (see photo). When we asked the reason for this the answer was: "It is a Comfort room, but with two beds, therefore it comes without a sofa." Aha. Thing is that our double bed Comfort looks exactly like the Standard room from their website (second photo) and not like their Comfort room (third photo). What a ripp off.
Breakfast was also not like described, and it ended half an hour earlier.

One of the best hotels in Stuttgart. The rooms are nice and spacious and love all the bars and restaurants that run underneath. Plus the live theater is across the street. Classy place.

Newly renovated however according to the reception the A/C was turned off due to COVID then the next excuse we were given was they couldn't find the right technician to get it working again, after 1 week with 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit in this room they moved us to another room that was supposed to be cooler however we bought a fan because the room wasn't really cooler. The hotel proved a 6" desk fan as well but it was use less.
Bottom line the rooms are clean but best when you stay there in the winter time.

Room and service is great. Unfortunately most of the on-site restaurants and attractions are closed and it does feel empty. Also, a gym is advertised but it's empty as well.

Such a weird hotel. The climate control was not working, window not opening, mini fridge extremely hot. The bed was comfy though so they got that going..
