Hotels All-inclusive in Puerto Plata

Service was great overall! The staff that were in charge of all the water activities were very nice and helpful when it came to informing my family and I about the banana boat and kayaking

The staff are amazing and work very hard. The beach is nice and lots of chairs, it's never an issue to find a seat. Very close to go into town for a day of shopping

The food was delicious and diversified, especially the fruits. Mine favorite was melon water 🍉. The beach was good not excellent, but good. The stuff was gently and discreet, ever in position

There were some small negatives but in general impression is excellent 👌. The rooms need a little bit of renovation but they were very clean and well maintained

Good location, good food, staff friendly. Animation team does a great job of interacting with guest. Played the same songs each night

Great for a weekend getaway if you live in the interior and definitely a great place to stay that won't break the bank

Entertainment was new everyday even the outside games were different lot of nice people

Overall it was great, but at some point the AC in my room did break

Asides from the the service from everyone was impeccable our roomkeeper Maritza was phenomenal and very attentive to us!! Gracias Maritza! Do not buy your souvenirs at the hotel i bought 6 bracelets that totaled to 2500 DOP which is equivalent to around 40 bucks

Older looking rooms but very clean and air-conditioning excellent. The resort had delicious buffet, snack bars and restaurants

not worth it go into the city for souvenirs

Place has a very amazing view between beach and mountains, mattresses are a little to hard, all the employees were very nice and helpful, pool is big and well maintained, my boyfriend only had an issue with a cleaning lady that she wouldn’t let him go in the bathroom without a towel just because he was wet

Everyone was helpful and friendly. This was my first all inclusive resort and I had an amazing time

A nice place to have a restful vacation with many amenities for those who want to have a bit more fun. Clean and very comfortable rooms

We had a minor issue with our A/C, but it was fixed very quickly! Carlos in the family SunClub restaurant/bar is an absolute delight

Specialty restaurants food was just okay. We spent most of are meals at the Pizzeria. I will give credit where do the pizza was amazing but extremely slow and the snack bar in the afternoon was good

They have theme restaurants for which you don’t need a reservation which is nice. There’s only one big pool and a smaller one. the setup of this resort is not conducive to visiting the beach

As a matter of fact, they recommend you to enjoy the pool instead of the beach. The service received at all restaurants, the bartenders, the front desk, the cleaning staff was great

This is my 4th time coming here. I love the attention and humble love of the people who work here. They always there to please and make you feel comfortable. Resort is the best!

Pros: It's still Caribbean experience, very beautiful beach, few free activities that are not free in resort normally, excellent staff who is doing their best to attend to your need. Restaurants are above average

Jacqueline who does the excursion is wonderful. So many options and things to do. The food was good, you just have to make sure you make reservations in advance for the restaurants or you'll be at the buffet

if you are vegetarian like me, Food options can be limited but no different from other resorts. Loved fruits but go early for better quality. Try Italian restaurant, it's good

This hotel was a great value for your money. You will always get the best treatment from the staffed especially at the Restaurant

This is not a requirement and all that they did and gave for my daughter I will be forever grateful ! You are truly beautiful people and deserve a raise for the service they provided

Great HIIT gym class with Bryan. It's nice to have gym classes offered on vacation. The food selection and quality are also great. The staff is friendly and helpful

Very average. Nice rooms. Nice people. Cafeteria level food. Minor league drinks. Seaweed makes beach inhospitable. Entertainment amateurish.

We enjoyed the amenities, food, service, and overall experience. They have everything you would want. We also love their commitment to sustainability and protecting the environment. Definitely check out the orchid garden

We absolutely loved our stay! Service was impeccable and the best I’ve ever seen! Ony, Lizbeth, Antonio, Richard, and the beach bartender were phenomenal! Housekeeping did an amazing job, and the resort team fully felt like family! We miss them all already! Special love to Stephanie!

You can always find delicious food to eat at anytime, the breakfast is delicious, dinner offers many options, Japanese, Italian and Spanish foods. Can’t wait to return to this family oriented resort

The beaches and pools were varied, always clean and with different vibes depending on what you wanted - family oriented or adult only pools with swim up bars or whirlpools

We had a great time here! Ok, admittedly the sales pitch was annoying. But after those 90 minutes, we had great service, good food, so much fun on the beach and pools!

The housekeeping staff for the new room was amazing and very attentive. All inclusive means all inclusive. Food was good but changed daily

Me and My hubby visited for his birthday from MI, USA. We quickly noticed almost no one speaks English, we thought they would on the resort. We wanted to try all the restaurants but the reservation part was tricky

We were very surprised that check-in is at 3PM, they don't let you enter before, you have to wait sitting in the lobby. Thank goodness they started allowing check-in at 2PM and we managed to eat at the buffet

Would have been nice to know what food you could count on if you have a sensitive stomach

Checked in to The Grand Paradise on Saturday and I absolutely love it here. It is beyond beautiful and the service at Cooee is amazing. Everyone here really goes the extra mile to make you happy, I never want leave.

Great part of the hotel. Nice employee and great atmosphere. Calm and relaxing holiday you will have for sure. And if you like business and entertainment you walk 2 min to the other pool and you can enjoy that

Can recommend the upgrade to cooee as it gives your stay besides an exclusive touch, access to vip area, a frequently changing snack bar as well as table service

Had a great time here. Didn’t stay in there hotel we stop from a cruise. At the beach we had a bartender that went above and beyond to make sure we had a fresh and cold drinks at all times.

I stayed at this resort with my family for 2 nights and 3 days. And they had great activities for the morning and the night for both the kids and the adults. They have aerobics and great food at almost every hour

Also, we got a complimentary massage for me and my husband as a return customer. Highly recommended to visit this place. The manager Rosa Maria Vasquez was amazing and professional

The entertainment crew keeps the vibes alive, the crew is funny and keeps the atmosphere dancing and music alive. The food is good and the rooms are clean and comfy

I stayed here for 3 days in April 2018. The reviews about disrepair are accurate and some of the food is just average. That said, the staff was perfectly polite and helpful. Despite the disrepair, the place is immaculate

I've visited this resort a lot and I simply love it. The best thing about it I would say is the environment, which has an incredible positive vibe

To start with, this was my first Caribbean resort stay, with an all inclusive option. Overall the experience was good. The food was decent, the pools were great, and the activities on the resort were fun

There's some sort of hierarchy when it comes to your resort status, and based on that you'll have access to different parts of the resort. I think you have to be an owner to really get access, but I'm not sure

The shower was large, and the balcony overlooked one of the pools. The bed was comfy, there was water, beer, and soda in the fridge that was stocked daily. Pretty standard stuff for a decent hotel

Arrival was smooth, they gave us a map and stood us what areas we had access to, as well as the schedule of events on the resort. AC kept it a cool 19C the whole time

I had a 2 bedroom at the Presidential Suites by Lifestyle. The rooms were huge, and each had a hot tub in them. We had a full kitchen and private patio

They never really explain it anywhere. We had access to several of the buffets, two beaches, and many of the bars. Pick up at the airport was included in our stay

Main dislikes: repetitious breakfast buffet menu, occasionally insanely noisy specialty restaurants if a large group is present, surf is too rough for ‘leisurely’ swimming in the ocean but still swimmable for adults (no snorkeling), and pesky vendors at the beach can be a nuisance but ‘no, gracias’ will work

i had such a great experience staying at viva heavens this july. this is more of a family friendly resort. it has a great view from the beach & clean. lots of day and night entertainment

extremely sweet, friendly & accommodating staff. especially the bartenders & the viva vibe boys! food was great & filling especially as me being a vegetarian. drinks were always appreciated & well made

the resort is so relaxing yet also has a lot to do. it is very safe with very helpful & caring people

From a European perspective, this is not the best place to spend an All Inclusive holiday. It can be compared to the level of facilities in Bulgaria

We went to celebrate our honeymoon, at first our room was not ready because the hotel was full in its entirety, but that was no reason to stop enjoying it, in compensation for the waiting time, we were rewarded with a superior room near the hotel

Really great service, love entertainment, every day different game, love the diversity of the music. Free alcoholic beverages, as much as you want. Big shows every nights about different countries culture

Food is amazing different taste of every country, free restaurants with reservations, china food, Italia and seafood. Security guards everywhere as well cameras. Comfortable rooms with fridges rechargeable

This was an amazing resort! The entertainment team was spectacular. Michel Alfredo Luis and Liz were so fun and had so many great activities for us including water sports in the ocean like kayaking

Could use some maintenance and fumigation. The rooms are filled with ants, and there are holes in the walls made by diffrent animals. The surrounding landscape is beautiful, and maintained well

The staff are friendly , and approachable. Everything is all inclusive, which is a plus. But the drinks tend to be watered down a bit, and cheap alcohol is used

Bourbon street bar, Jazz & Blues restaurants are all a short walk away from your suites so food and drinks are never far away

We were restricted from using several of the beach areas and restaurants and functions. This resort does a great job at creating cast systems

We used an offer from Groupon which advertised this as VIP all-inclusive resort. It turned out the VIP (Blue)was "limited" to say the least

We went to several resorts in the Dominican and went to every Spa to get a couple massage BUT Bagua Spa is the BEST we ever experienced- well done to the ladies !!! We look forward to come back and stay longer

This place is a must stay for this area. It is small, gorgeous, and the customer service is top notch with some of the kindest people you could hope to find. You cannot beat the rooftop pool and beach area

From the minute we walked in, to the minute we departed So much detail in the architecture the scenery and the entire staff was 💯 on point. The service was beyond amazing. They accommodate our every needs

We stayed in the Junior Suite Lanai with Ocean Front and our room was cleaned and smelled so good there was even a fruit basket to welcome us and the view from our room was stunning

Large welcoming compound a short way down a dirt road. Has excellent food, a little river to take a dip, many activities organized here. Public transport at the main road. Suitable for large families or solo travelers

SubcampDR is a wonderful place to experience the real Dominican Republic. The staff is wonderful mainly the owner/manager Diane Pellerin. She's committed to making every person feel welcome and a part of the family

If you are looking for a Real Dominican experience I highly recommend Suncamp. I cannot wait to schedule my next visit and enjoy another Sancocho Feista with all the wonderful people I met while visiting

The facilities are excellent she has upgraded the rooms and the there is hot water and excellent Wi-Fi and food if you want it. It's a comfortable place to stay for a long time or a couple of days

Of course guests are also welcome to simply lounge by the bankor swim in the beautiful river that runs right through Suncamp. She even provides a library free of charge of all her guests
