If you want to go on vacation in DR and get your moneys worth, do NOT come to this resort. I came here for a wedding and we brought 130 people, they said there’s never been that much people come at one time. You would think we would get treated nicely but NOPE. First when we got there they made us wait 2 hours outside of the resort and we couldn’t even check in. Then they made us wait even longer in the lobby. This place is the definition of SLOW. There’s no club the best part of the resort was the pool, but even there the service was slow at times. If you’re thinking about coming here, go to another resort there’s nicer ones and better service. The beach here isn’t even all that to be honest, there are WAY BETTER beaches in DR. A lot of the workers here had attitudes for no reason. If they treated a group that broke the record of amount of people to come like that, imagine how they will treat you. The rooms weren’t that good for the amount of money spent. They NEVER came to our room and cleaned it, luckily i only stayed for 2 days, but man it was disappointing and its because of the workers man. They really do not care, also beware of scams and workers trying to get money out of you because it will be attempted! Would give a 0.5/5 stars if i could, the ONLY reason why it’s not a 0 for me was because i was with family, partying, my cousin got married, so of course i still vibed but still we definitely did not get our moneys worth.

Unless you purchase a timeshare or stayed as a platinum/Diamond VIP member this resort is horrid. There are some server staff that are quite incredible however overall majority couldn’t speak any English and they were quite pushy and angry. You’re treated like your status. I went with a group of 14 people. My husband and I upgraded to a junior suite.. which was ridiculous! Only ever had cold showers, the ceiling was leaking so you had to use the two ratty towels provided as floor mats to soak up all the water. There was cockroaches in all of our rooms! Getting a reservation at one of the restaurants was extremely difficult! For the money you spend going here I’d suggest going literally anywhere else. It was not worth the money spent and the lack of care to the room quality was insane unless you wanted to upgrade to VIP status for an additional few thousand.
Also if you don’t like walking up and down hills and stairs than I highly suggest a different resort as everything at this one involved some serious steps.
The weather was lovely and the drinks were good! Food was great the first few days but then they ran out of most items so we started to see the same items continuing to be recycled through the buffet.
Overall not a great stay.

I stayed here in 2018 but it was so memorable because it was my least favorite resort I've ever visited. I hear if you're a club member your experience is way different. So if staying in basic room... less than luxury. The food was not good and for being all inclusive I definitely went home hungry and didn't spend time eating. The late night snacks are nasty burgers and fries in a weird warmer. Buffet was less than impressive. Drinks are very watered down low quality. If you're able to be on the beach in the VIP section, it's the nicest part of the resort.
