When we booked, we were placed in Cofresi, which was very dirty. You know hot water and dangerous. There was locals there that were using slit your throat motions to us, etc. so we were gonna fly back home the same day we arrive, but they kept harassing us to go through and see the place across the street, which is actually connected to the resort And that is lifestyles vacation club. So we went on the tour. It took nine hours of our day and somehow they were enticing us to drink alcohol and they should not be having . They entice us by telling us that we would be able to sell our weeks. It has been four months and now that we’ve gotten back home, I’ve tried. I even paid their advertisement company that they linked us with $680 to advertise. I haven’t been able to sell one week. I found out why it is because they’re charging me as a member for the weekly rate more than I could pay someone else Online. Which is a total scam because what did they take my $80,000 for if I can’t sell my weeks like promised. Also in our contract that says no red dates we’ve been trying to book for some time in December and they tell me now that I can’t because my membership isn’t high enough yet when I was purchasing it, they said we were buying one of the highest levels just one below the top and that we’d be able to use it anytime with no red dates Please stay clear. Do not give them a penny they will use deceptive practices and then when you get home They won’t call you back to try to fix any problems like this so now I’m stuck having to contact the FTC an attorney in the overseas governing agencies to step in and get involved now because they will not fix this. Stay away from here!!

This resort is huge. Beautiful views. Staff are nice.
The problem is at the Tropical location is too LOUD all the time. Kids are yelling/ screaming and running up and down the halls, adults and housekeeping are having conversation from one end of the hall to the other. Don't expect to sleep or get rest past 8 am. Everything echos, I can hear the toilets flushing of neighbors. Also, there are signs throughout the Tropical saying no personal speakers allowed yet too many people have their own speakers and the resort does nothing to stop it. So you're at the pool forcefully listening to the music of other guests AND the music that the resort is playing, a bit of a sensory overload and highly unnecessary. I am hoping that it is more peaceful at any of the Suites, Villas, etc. Oh! And at the pools there is no such thing as a peaceful cabana. Noone controls their kids and they run everywhere around the pool. Kids should definitely be allowed to yell and scream at the beach and pool BUT there is no respect for other guests and the parents and staff do nothing about it. I had to call the front desk 3 separate occasions for noise at either 1 am or 7 am and all complaints were at the rooms. I was here at the Yropical for 7 days and I did not get the peace I wanted or needed the entire time.
Food is great! Excursions are well worth it. VIP staff are helpful. I am a new member and hoping that this past week was a fluke, but I recimmthey have staff/security walk around throughout the resort and take charge in telling people to be mindful of other guests with their volume and kids. I became a member because the Presidential and Sunrise Suites look amazing and was very quiet when I walked through on 2 seperate occassions. But I do not recommend the Tropical if you want a relaxing vacation.

Great place. Totally different than Punta Cana. This has a way more Dominican vibe, more music, more local people on vacation, and an excellent array of food and beverages. My recommendation is to stay at the Confresi Palm with the larger rooms that have a jacuzzi inside and then get the Black Vip Band for access to everything at the resort. The complex is enormous and you will definitely need a golf cart to get around which is costly per day but worth it! They were super helpful in getting everything I needed planned for my 40th.

Horrible resort, I will never recomend this place to anyone. First of all, I came with my husband and 2 children and they gave us 2 different rooms and I explained to the front desk recepcionist that we had 2 minors and did not want them to stay by themselves buy they assured us that one of the rooms had 2 queen beds but at the end they gave us 2 rooms with 1 king bed each and therefore, the family had to stay in 2 different rooms and be separated. They didn't even try to accomodate us and lied saying that one room had 2 queen beds. We come to the country regurarly and always go to a resort but we will never stay in this place again. The place is not even beautiful, like others resorts we have stayed at. We stayed at the Marien before and it's a much nicer and more beautiful resort.

THE WORST, resort I have ever stayed in.

For starters, the staff and service is absolutely terrible. Staff is rude and don’t even think about completing a service without money in their pockets. The only good service we received was at the bar. Moreover, my aunt made a reservation and had her husband who lives in the country, check in for them. He was able to go before she arrived. He was charged an extra free because he “lived in the country” something I’ve never heard in my life, and nothing was shown to prove this “fee”.

The rooms, TERRIBLE.
We booked a 2 bedroom stay at a luxury suite, when we arrived, we were put in the dirtiest most humid room we ever experienced. Air conditioner broken, huge puddle of water as soon as we walk in, no warning. The apartment looks nothing like what we booked, the bathroom shower didn’t even have a cover or even a liner, making a huge mess on the floor. Windows broken so bugs lived in the rooms, there were holes in the wall and counters that were covered by flower pots and other accessories to hide them. Hot water runs for about 2 minutes then turns completely cold with no fix. Check in services have no idea what they’re doing, and look at you in confusion when you make complaints. After 2 days of dealing with terrible rooms we finally were transferred and were given non-disclosure papers (we did not sign).

The food is actually okay with different varieties every day, chefs and cooks were friendly. That’s all.

The resort itself looks dirty, most of it is under construction but we were told there has not been any progress from regular visitors. The resort has so many sections and provides a shuttle that does not even arrive in timely manner. We were stuck out waiting for an hour, and had to bribe a guy to drive us in his golf cart. The golf carts are available to rent, however you must take a tour of the entire resort first, which is a waste of vacation time.

There was one receptionist at the Mexican Restaurant who was extremely rude to my sister for no reason. The minute we mentioned that we had reservations she grilled us and said “No you don’t” and prompted a back and forth as we’ve been extremely patient despite their terrible attitudes.

Casino bartenders are money hungry and will not even look at you if cash is not in your hand. If you are a local visiting or even someone that is Dominican/ Caribbean, they will not even look your way.

Don’t have high expectations, it is a simple hotel and far from all inclusive Mexican hotels , the beach isn’t great, the room was smelly.
The food was ok.
I do not recommended if you are looking for a nice beach and hang out there since there is no beach service neither a place to hang out there.
Plus there was no Internet in the room neither could buy.

I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Lifestyle Resort in the Dominican Republic, and it was hands down the worst resort experience of my life. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place is a complete nightmare.

To start, our room had no hot water. My wife and two kids were expected to shower in freezing cold water, which is absolutely unacceptable. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, I was met with indifference and a lack of urgency. To make matters worse, there was a water leak from the ceiling in the bathroom, adding to the chaos and discomfort of our stay.

I approached Jaimie, the front desk associate, to explain our situation. Instead of offering to change our room or showing any empathy, she responded with an attitude that made me feel like I was a nuisance. I specifically mentioned that my two children are autistic and that forcing them to take cold showers would likely traumatize them. Unfortunately, Jaimie showed no compassion or understanding, which was incredibly disheartening.

The overall service at this resort was abysmal, and the amenities were far from what was advertised. The food was mediocre at best, and the cleanliness of the common areas was questionable. I felt like I was staying in a rundown motel rather than a resort.

In summary, if you value your vacation and your family's well-being, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Lifestyle Resort. It’s a place that promises relaxation but delivers nothing but frustration, disappointment, and a complete lack of care. Save your money and find somewhere else to stay!

Start off by saying myself and my family are not the pickiest people in the world. This is an honest review of our experience this past week. We originally visited this resort in 2019 and had a good experience, this time we decided to do a family trip 11 of us total. 5 of us left the day before no issues getting there and so on but the rest of the family arriving the next day had major issues. From their flight being delayed (which was not the resorts fault of course) but once they got the to resort they ended up being overbooked keep in mind we booked this trip 5 months in advanced; we all paid to be in the tropical they ended up in presidential so we were split from the beginning. When they were taken to the rooms they were assigned they walked into the room which actually had people staying in the room they were then put in a random room no room key and only one full size bed for 2 adults 2 kids. We had to speak to over 5 people to get a room that had 2 beds to accommodate that part of the family but not without waiting over 5 hours trying to find a solution. They kept telling us they were overbooked in all parts of the resort and they would need to stay in that room with one bed for an additional day. 2 out of the 4 rooms we had booked had backed up toilets which they took hours to address and backed up more then 3 times durning our 6 day stay, we had to keep going back to the front desk to get our room keys to work. Had incidents where we would put the do not disturb sign and they still came in and cleaned while we were out of the rooms. They had no idea what time the transportation we paid for was picking us up we had to go back and forth the day before and the day of check out until they finally were able to get info. One of the kids lost the hotel bracelet when they tried to work with us on the $200 fee we agreed to pay $100 after paying since we know we signed something just incase it was lost we appreciated that they worked with us on the fee but then they told us we needed to leave a good review before leaving the resort and needed to show them the review before leaving when we told them we would not they literally did not let us leave they had the van stopped at the entrance and held us there when we made a scene they finally let us go after the manager came out and showed her face because all the times we asked for a manger durning our trip they were “in a meeting” Literally tried to bribe us for a good review which we already planned on not leaving. We will definitely not be returning and recommend you do your research before booking this resort or any of their extensions

Hello. This hotel is amazing with the gold bracelet. Don't use any other. The blues bracelets are not good enough. I was in the tropical and we were very pleased with the hotel. The food is good 😊

I stayed at Lifestyle Tropical and was extremely disappointed. The first room we were given was in terrible condition — the toilet clogged, the sink barely drained, the bathroom smelled awful, and the furniture was old and damaged. The sheets and walls were stained, making the whole stay feel unhygienic and uncomfortable.

We had to switch rooms because of these issues, and due to the last-minute move, I accidentally left the pool cards in the old room without realizing. Even after explaining the situation, the staff refused to be understanding and charged us for the missing cards, despite the poor service and record of us never even using pool towels.

To make things worse, the food was very limited and low quality. There were barely any options, and nothing stood out in taste or freshness. For a supposed resort, this was a huge letdown.

Overall, this was not worth the money. Poor hygiene, bad food, unhelpful staff, and an overall bad experience. I do not recommend.
