Large welcoming compound a short way down a dirt road. Has excellent food, a little river to take a dip, many activities organized here. Secure facility and parking. Public transport at the main road. It's very peaceful and quiet. Suitable for large families or solo travelers.

Only got to stay a couple nights but that was enough. Very nice rooms and great housekeepers. Don't understand why they charge so much for wifi. When we reminded them we were VIP they belatedly corrected that. When we showered, all we got was cold water. Again when we went to the front desk and reminded them we had upgraded to VIP (extra $) we got the hot water turned on immediately. Thank you...

We come here every year. It's beautiful and the Dominican people are so happy and friendly. We love it here. We own our villa and are looking to rent it out for people looking for a great vacation getaway.

Could’ve been better if it had free wifi. This hotel is for people who like the quiet peaceful atmosphere and great for elderly people who just want to take a break and enjoy relaxing under the shade. Definitely felt like the resort was for the older generation and with family with kids.

Simple but good hotel with a good price. Workers are very polite and it’s easy to go to the beach. The flats are equipped with kitchen, there is small balcony and living room. Must be careful with transportation, better to stay if you have car or will use Uber or taxi.

Costambar has a small beach which is nice to visit from monday to Friday. Stay home in the weekends, because than there are too many noisy Dominicans with very loud music leaving the aérea with garbage.

Love the island and the people. Quiet beach. Transportation expensive.
