Isis Hostel 2
Cairo, 10 Mohamed Helmy Ibrahim Street, from Champollion Street, 15th floor, Down Town 🧭 Map
The breakfast is bad for a hostel. They provided cold food like bread, boiled egg, jam & coffee. The location is good. Smells cigarette near the room area. The wifi is bad. The staffs are approachable. The photo is showing the area around from the hostel view.
Poor service, No basic necessities like shampoo and tower provided.
I made a reservation to rest for a while before going to the airport.
The room was relatively clean and the location was excellent. The view from the window and the access to tourist spots were great.
The hotel is very comfortable and the staffs are very nice. Nice hotel.
The room is very big. Although it is different from the one with balcony I booked, I am still very satisfied with it overall.

I went to this place for a few nights. The location is very good where you can find plenty of shops and some places to eat nearby. This place is more like a hostel but my booking was saying it was a hotel. The rooms are pretty basic and a little rundown. The bed mattress was rather uncomfortable and needed to be changed. The breakfast was hard boiled eggs with Egyptian pita bread. The staff was fine...
Beds are not comfortable. Old .the toilets are not clean..it's just a time pass for less budget.nothing special.building is very old.only plus point is location.
I am very impressed with the place and the possibilities. The place is very nice, in addition to the quality of the internet and the cleanliness. I would like to thank the chef of the place because the food is very delicious. I love this place and will come back again. Thank you Mr. Emad Ali for the hospitality
I went there recently to stay for two weeks. During the time I stayed there, the manager mr Imad and his team gave amazing service, provided everything I asked for. During my stay, i felt so comfortable almost as if I was part of family there. He helped me around town, showed me main sights to see and anything else I needed help with. I would highly recommend this place and especially mr imad and...
The place is very interested in the details that comfort you, such as attention to the precautionary measures and attention to the customer's comfort, and this is what you will find from the first time you enter the place until you leave
On my first visit to Egypt and as a solo, female traveler from the US, I am so grateful I chose Hostgram Hostel. It really is more of a guest house than a hostel in the traditional sense. The staff is very kind and efficient. There was always someone who spoke fluent English and responded instantly to all of my questions. I arranged four different tours through the front desk and they were excellent...

We like this hostel overall , but we don't like the check-in process, as the hotel lobby is on the 6th floor, no access from the ground floor unless you have an access card, which you'll get after you check-in.  Free breakfast is served, with great coffee and tea, basic but nice. Parking is right by the street, but you need luck to find one. This hotel is only minutes away from the famous and must...
Good room with affordable cost but the room needs some fixes and cleaning, the closed is literally broken and you have a stupid chair too, I don't know why they don't fix these small things, they won't cost them more than $60 or so, and the same for the bathroom, it just needs some small fixes, that's all.
Good place to stay in Cairo for few days in the center. Helpful staff and very clean rooms.
Amazing location, good value for money
This accommodation is good for someone who wants to experience Egyptian hospitality on a budget. It's located in the heart of Cairo, a 5 minute walk to Tahir Square and the Egyptian Museum. The hotel is set-up more like a hostel than a hotel, with some rooms having bathrooms outside the rooms. There's free Wifi to use. They also provide breakfast in the morning. I had to leave earlier than they served...

Great place, reasonable cost, and perfect location. Staff are very friendly ☺️
Excellent hotel, nice prices, not expensive, very close to downtown ,treated them very well
This hotel provided me with an absolutely excellent experience. The apartments were clean and big, with lovely views of Talaat. The Wi-Fi signal was strong and consistent throughout the hotel, and the staff was quite kind and helpful. They went above and above to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was also a treat, with a broad selection of delectable and fresh alternatives...

Good location in downtown Cairo. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and tidy with AC. The bed was comfy and the room included a fridge too. The staff were friendly and helpful when it came to food suggestions and information on how to get around. Simple breakfast included.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. The location is very close to everything. You can shop cheap trendy clothes nearby. Blaban and other famour food chain is just few steps away. Highly recommended! ❤️
This budget hostel located in the heart of Cairo city is our last minutes resort. The front desk staff are very helpful and try their best to meet what you need. Free Wi-Fi and continental breakfast. Enjoying viewing Nile Sunset at river bank is a 20-minute walk.
Simply impeccable! From the moment of arrival to check-out, my experience in this hotel was perfect. The team is extremely attentive, always smiling and ready to help with any detail. The cleanliness is a separate highlight - everything was impeccable every day. In addition, the location is excellent, close to everything, but still quiet to rest. A place that I recommend and I intend to come back!
On my last day in Cairo, I used it as a day use as I was leaving late at night. It was a hostel but I booked it because it had a private bathroom. The towels were not as good as those in a hotel, but they were fine to use. You can borrow a hairdryer at the front desk. Soap, body wash, and shampoo are provided. The location is very convenient as there are many restaurants and souvenir shopping (including...
Don't know how this hotel got a high score of 4.6? I won't choose it again anyway. The facilities are extremely rudimentary. There is not even a stool in the room. There is nothing you need. The pillow is so hard that it feels like sleeping on wood. The bed is also hard. I felt sore all over after sleeping.

It's the best hostel in Cairo. The staff are very kind and humorous. The facilities are very clean and nice. If you come to Cairo, I recommend you to come to this hostel.
Overall, I had a positive experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and well maintained, which was much appreciated. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option in the area and want to be near the Museum of Egypt, this hostel is definitely worth checking out.
Centrally located with nice staff. Very very clean, the blankets have a great sense.
Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. They helped us book our entire trip while in Egypt which made everything relaxing and stress free. Pyramids. Check. Abu Simbel. Check. Kanak, Luxor, Valley of the Kong’s. Check check check. I was a bit apprehensive of the Nile Cruise but it ended up being amazing. Have a portable place to sleep and not have to worry about bag transport from location...
Hostel is centrally located near to Tahrir Square, Egyptian Museum, the Nile River, and more. The hostel is clean and the air conditioning us a lifesaver in the Cairo heat. They have ample breakfast in the morning included in the room price. The restaurant nearby, Kazaz, is very convenient for delicious Egyptian food. The staff is friendly and rooms are clean.
Wow. What a welcome to Egypt. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Invited to join for dinner as soon as I arrived, got me involved with everything they were doing. Honestly absolute dreams. Loved my stay here and I was sad to leave. A special thanks to Mona, Ahmed and Amr (aka black moon) for making me feel so at home.

This is my second time travelling to cairo. I chose this hotel simply due to the positive reviews and the great pictures I saw on Booking.com . My first hotel experience in Giza last year left me quite underwhelmed about my future stays in Cairo. However, the Square Boutique Hotel has exceeded my expectations. It just might be one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, which is not a chain hotel...
Good place on center location, old cairo. Entrance looks cripy but inside is confortable. With closed windows noise disappear.
Everything was great EXCEPT when I booked a room with a balcony and ended up getting a room with just a window instead. I paid the price of the balcony and they said there's nothing available. If you stay in this place please don't book the balcony room because there's no guarantee you'll gonna have it.
The rooms are actually nice, great view excellent location good WiFi so far, its December and no heating but it's ok to be fair, the only annoying thing is the cars nonstop honking there horns it's like culture to them 🤦🏽‍♂️ For the price and location great choice just a little worrying when you first come in because its a shared entrance is really dark and dingy but when you get to your floor it...
Booked a room in this hotel(they only have a total of 6 rooms), booked with city view and balcony. The staff was very nice and the room was a great size, but did not get a balcony they said the other room that i was supposed to get had it but it was under construction. The bathroom was very tiny and the shower head barely worked. You will get woken up at 6am cause you could hear the traffic honking...

Can’t beat this location. Walking distance to everything fun in downtown Cairo. Value is pretty solid. It’s not a nice hotel, but it’s certainly an acceptable one to crash for a night or two. The AC works. The street is a bit loud, but earplugs exist, and if you’re a heavy sleeper like me, it’s not really an issue. Service is great. Rooms feel a little off? Maybe it’s because of the lighting or just...
It was a great experience overall. I totally recommend it. Mr Hamada won't let you down at all. The rest of the staff are quite friendly and welcoming as well.
I stayed at a hotel located in the heart of Old Cairo on Talaat Harb Street—an excellent location close to many facilities, including the metro, Souk Al-Ataba, the Nile River, and Tahrir Square. The hotel occupies the 4th to 6th floors of the building and is accessible via two elevators. The rooms were clean and well-equipped with a flat-screen TV and air conditioning. While the hotel does have some...
I definitely highly recommend. The hotel is nice, located inside of an apartment building. Don’t let that stop you from giving it a chance. The rooms are clean and the staff are very helpful and nice.
Great Location, But in Need of an Update I'll start with the positives - the location is fantastic! However, everything else feels like it's stuck in the past. The building and lifts are outdated, and the entry process was confusing. But, the reception staff were super friendly and welcoming, which helped ease our initial concerns. The rooms are huge, but, unfortunately, they're also a bit dated...

It has a very good location near to everything and was a saver to be able to check in at 2am after a long travel. It was clean and good one but could be a little bit cheaper to meet the expectations. I didn't catch the breakfast so, I cannot judge it.
Location of this hotel is nice and the owner is a decent person, always ready to help you. Beds were bigger than many hostels I have been to and these were comfortable. Lifts were not working and I had to walk through the stairs with my heavy luggage. Bathroom was good but it could have been cleaner.
All the staff was friendly and always willing to help you. The room is very clean and the breakfast excellent. Really good price for the service, have been recommending to friends and family.
The staff is very nice and polite, we stayed 3 nights here, on our first night we had to change our room from balcony to no balcony due to the noisy traffic.

This is a very basic hotel which provides good value for the money. We spent the last night here as we had to go to the museum and then to the airport the next day. A perfect affordable hotel in the heart of Egypt, almost few steps to the underground (Metro) close to everything wanna see and visit in Downtown (West Elbalad). The staff are so kind, friendly and lovely.
Best hotel we've had in Cairo! The room was surprinsingly very quiet (considering it's in Cairo), very dark, and comfy beds, so it was easy to fall asleep. Everything was super clean. Furthermore, we had an issue with the uber driver who brought us to the hotel because he tried to scam us, and the Abdeen hotel staff quickly came to help us out and solve the problem. Excellent services. Extremely warm welcoming. We feel so good staying at Freedom Hostel. Room, bed, blanket, towel are so cleans. 15 min by walking to Tahrir square. Lot of money exchange spots, so too easy for tourists.
Location of this hostel is amazing for being right in the downtown area of Cairo. It is on the top floor of the building, 3 flights of stairs. Staff were lovely, breakfast was great, rooms were clean, comfy beds and working water. Would recommend. Absolutely avoid the hotel in the same building though- like 100% avoid.
The best part of this hostel was absolutely the wonderful staff working here, they truly make you feel like this is your home away from home. The rooms and bathrooms are kept very clean. Beds are very comfortable, Wi-Fi works very well. The breakfast in the morning is included in your stay and it is good and plentiful! Excellent location as you are walking distance to many places. It's convenient and clean for two people, but the shower head is too high and can't be moved, so it's not very convenient to take a shower.
They don't provide basic toiletries, same breakfast every day, nothing other than brake fast prepared in kitchen. Bathroom not suitable if you are with kids as there is no privacy.
Really friendly staff at this hotel! The location is walking distance to the Egyptian Museum and to the Khan el Khalili market and an affordable Uber ride away to pretty much anywhere in Cairo.
