You can't have high expectations for a room in Egypt. The hotel is across the road from Ebo. It is also close to the Nile River.

The location is very good, right in the city center, within walking distance of the Egyptian Museum and not far from the Hariri Market. If you are not picky, I recommend booking it. Otherwise, it is better to book the four-star hotel opposite.

The rooftop platform allows you to take pictures of the Sphinx, which is only 100 meters away from the east entrance of the pyramid. But hotels are actually similar to village houses in China decades ago.

The Pyramids view room has a great view. You can see the pyramids and the Sphinx while lying on the bed. The view is better than the Mena Palace Marriott. The roof view is also very good. Other hygiene, service, and breakfast are average, so don't hold too high expectations.

Good room with affordable cost but the room needs some fixes and cleaning, the closed is literally broken and you have a stupid chair too, I don't know why they don't fix these small things, they won't cost them more than $60 or so, and the same for the bathroom, it just needs some small fixes, that's all.

We had a wonderful stay in the Giza inn, our room was situated directly opposite the pyramids. Seeing them through our full glass window was breathtaking evertime we looked. They seemed close enough to touch. Giza itself doesn't offer the finese and cleanliness of Cairo central, however no amount of clean streets could detract from the stunning daily vista. Golden Hotel is a great place in midtown Cairo. I booked for 4 nights initially. I liked this comfortable hotel and its very friendly staff, so I decided to stay for whole duration of my visit to Egypt - two months. Clean, convenient location, good rates, friendly helpful staff. This is a very old hotel that is really close to the Egyptian museum. The street noise is significant from the room but the room had good hot water and the bed was fairly comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was really good and the staff was nice. This place is fairly affordable and a good choice if you want to spend a few nights in the old part of Cairo.

If you are looking for somewhere cheap to just lay your head down for the night, this is the place. Clean, ideally located to the Museum and with restaurants and bars close by. Do not be put off by the surroundings. Locals quickly get used to you

The location is very good. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Egyptian Museum and about 15 minutes to the Nile River. There are many restaurants around and it is very lively at night. The room was overall good, the shower was powerful, and the room was equipped with a hairdryer (but it was very noisy). I will choose here again next time if I go to play!

We had a wonderful stay here in this luxury hotel that is about as close to the pyramids as you can get. The view from our room was really amazing and uninterrupted.
