Cairo, 21 Mohamed Mazhar Street 🧭 Map
I’ve stayed in this hotel twice. My second stay was brighter and much more comfortable with the help of Mahmoud the night manager of front desk and Abanoub who works as supervisor/manager in the restaurant. They were ready to serve me anytime and with anything I would ask for. Thanks for both of you and the rest of the team
Best hotel experience we ever had by far, thanks a million time to Mr Hamada the receptionist who made our time here so wonderful. You can be a nobody and being treated like a president. The suite is amazing and I have no word to describe that crazy view. Such a good sense of service ! The facilities are also perfect, you can really consider that experience like a 5 stars hotel.
Great experience. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. They were very attentive about my allergies. The rooms were great. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Egypt. Thank you!
Wonderful hotel in the cozy Zamalek area of Cairo, next to the Nile river and near the metro station. Very kind and helpful staff at the reception, restaurant, and gym. The rooms are very spacious and generous, looking out to the Nile. Overall a comfortable experience and would definitely recommend a visit!
Excellent location, quite, the room size Breakfast is a lot and varied, the room service is fast, the pool overlooks the Nile. Safety in the hotel is high, very suitable for families. and respectable team, especially the sweet lady Ms. Dina .
Everything is amazing the staff ,service , room view , security , people , food, beverage and the Hotel it self with suitable location, We were served by Abanoub, Fatima and Merna , and Hamada in the reception, they were very nice and helpful, I highly recommend this place .

If you're looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay, then the Pyramisa is the perfect place for you. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was impressed by the elegant decor and friendly staff. The rooms are spacious, Clean and comfortable, with all of the amenities you could need. The beds are incredibly comfortable, Clean and the linens are top-notch. The bathrooms are spotless and well-stocked...
Lovely hotel. A little far from the main Nile Bridge....about a 10 min walk which we enjoyed taking at night. Very friendly staff. The reception, entertainment and food areas were amazing! Our room was a little older than others but it was still comfortable. Food places were in walking distance.
Our overall experience was fine, it’s not 5 star at all. The reception area of the hotel is beautiful and grand however the rooms are very small and need a bit of maintenance. Our bathroom toilet kept leaking resulting in the floor always being wet and slippery. When we made on online booking directly with the hotel, we requested a double room but for there to be one bed and not 2 single. On arrival...
Good Hotel but??? Restaurant service is very poor. We had half board and Just one dish served to everyone all night long. Gets cold and hard very soon. Breakfast is good service. The tourist operator stationed at the hotel is rip off expensive and the tours end up being rubbish and rip off against promise. Your drivers soon take you off tour to shopping traps where they earn further commissions. Book...

Very nice spot, comfortable and clean room, friendly staff and cozy terrace. I would definitely come back
Castle Hostel is a cute and comfy hostel in the center of Cairo. We spend a total of 5 nights, the room was clean and the bed comfy. The rooftop was absolutely the best! 😻 A cozy space with great views to chill after a long day exploring the city. Nevertheless, my favorite part of the hostel was the staff, all of them were lovely and attentive to all our needs💘 Thank you Castle Hostel! 💚
First of all, we’d like to thank the amazing staff of this hostel that made our stay super comfortable. Our room was more than enough for the price we paid, bed was comfortable. Rooftop was spectacular, there was free breakfast every morning. Lastly, would like to mention again that all the staff was super friendly and helped us with all our requests. 🤎
I stayed for 5 night's at the Castle hotel and had a great time. It's the kind of place where solo travelers can meet other travelers, like the old backpacker days! Yes the elevator is scary but it plays a dua for your safety. 😁 The terrace is nice in the morning for breakfast. My only suggestion is to bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise (altho you get used to the sounds of Cairo). Fresh towels...
The location is a gem; you cannot be more centrally localized (right by Tahir Square). The staff is stellar and will go out of their way to make your stay as memorable and pleasant as possible. Don't let the outer façade fool you (nor the charming elevator ride); it's downtown Cairo so take it at face value. The rooms are clean and practical as well as the bathrooms (of which there are several). Piece...
Clean rooms and nice terrace. However (as it seems to be the case in most hotels in Egypt), I wouldn’t recomend contracting any tours/activities through the hotel as they charge a big surplus. We found our desert tour 75 euros elsewhere, the owner assured us that the 125 euros he wanted to charge us was a very good price. This is after a long speech saying that for him money is not important and what...

Top Location, amazing view! Breakfast served in your room, so great if you can take it on your balcony with either city or pyramids view in one of the levels above 34th floor. Staff is really keen on making you happy! They are doing all they can - thank you guys!
I just want to say, its very rare to find great customer service in Egypt. Royal Galaxy Inn has just that. Mahmoud in reception is very passionate and always want to help to the max. Adel was an amazing host and made the night enjoyable. We had amazing food along the Nile and enjoyed the meal. I would definitely come back and would love to have another meal here. Thank you for everything.
Great hotel and wonderful location. Hanna took great care of me at breakfast! The freshly made bread was delicious, hot out of the oven and served with a warm smile from the women baking it. Great way to start the day!
I enjoyed my stay, 5-star service from the parking and valet, they help with your luggage, and easily assist to settle you into your room. Very helpful staff, and there is some shopping that is convenient in the hotel. The conference facilities were amazing including the food served. Shukran
The restaurant Pane Vino is outstanding. Islam took excellent care of our table. Five star restaurant without the five star price. The food was great. We had gazpacho, seafood soup, seafood linguine and the sea bass were incredible. Try the local beer (Sakara) very smooth. Highly recommended
Rooms are large and clean. Service of rooms are excellent. Breakfast is good but extremely hard to get service if coffee or water. They continue to say yes but won’t get you any. Hotel has lots to offer and rest of staff is great except for breakfast.
We had a great experience here! The views of the Nile from the restaurant were awesome. Our server Ahmed Salah went out of his way to get us beef tenderloin kebabs and catered to my dietary restrictions. He was so kind and gave us great recommendations. The service at this restaurant was great! I highly recommend this restaurant!

This used to be the Grand Hyatt one day and was the ultimate sign of luxury within Cairo’s hotels, however not anymore. Beyond beautiful Nile scenery that is visible from almost every single angle, would wish to experience...
It was a nice experience in the hotel for our Anniversary. Also, The Revolving Restaurant on the 40th floor, is beyond amazing. The only negative matter is some staff needs to learn how to deal equally with every guest, not just the people they know they gonna give them tips. Otherwise, it’s all good.
I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, which I hardly do at other top hotels. I stayed here for five nights, where I enjoyed the view of the Nile from the 35th floor, great breakfast, and definitely helpful and courteous staff. Our child also enjoyed the stay, including the outdoor pools. I highly recommend this hotel, an all around hotel.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the lovely hotel that boasts not only impeccable service but also breathtaking views. Although the experience of dining on a big boat cruising the Nile with local shows is undeniably unique and entertaining, I must say I was quite disappointed with the food and service at this restaurant. Being a transit travel via Cairo for 12 hours, EgyptAir offered me overnight stay at this hotel. Well, we waited one hour in front of the airport till the shuttle bus arrived. I got a spacious room with 2 vouchers for dinner and breakfast buffet at restaurant Azure. Such a...
It was solo trip and for more than week. Stay was comfortable. Food was good. Staff is polite and behaves nicely. Overall rating will be 4.5/5.
It looks really great from outside. But the room I had was really old fashioned and a lot a problem like paint is coming off from the room and bathrooms. Basin and commode wasn’t that great, hand shower didn’t work, room conditioning wasn’t that great etc. They may have some nice room, but I got that one in a transit. They have nice lobby by the way, above average breakfast, also they have multiple...
This hotel is in perfect location for passengers in transit who need to spend the night out of the airport. However, I've been there to attend a wedding reception and found the quality of the food to be modest while the outdoor venue was a total mess and needs lots of attention just to be acceptable!!!!
I absolutely love the hotel. Stayed for 18 hours. The beds are great and the pool very inviting. The food was delicious 😋. The staff are very friendly too.
I recently had a free overnight stay at Le Passage Cairo Hotel during a layover with Egyptair. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. A special thanks to Yasmin from Guest Relations, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and Shams at the front desk for her warm welcome and helpfulness. I am very grateful to the staff at the Novotel Cairo Airport for helping me to recover some items I accidently left behind in my room. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, although I spent nearly thirty minutes trying to find it because Google Maps doesn’t direct you straight there. I suppose that’s not really their fault. Only stayed here for one night, room was very comfortable, staff were lovely and prices reasonable on food and drinks. Dinner buffet wasn't anything special but still good value for money 😀 Would definitely return for a short stay
It's a pretty good hotel for the location, rooms are a little bit small however very clean with spacious bathroom. The vibes are good with the restaurants, however again the pool is very small in size for residents.
Amazing staff who truly live up to the Accor heartiest values. Excellent service, excellent facilities and rooms. Definitely would stay again but next time much longer! Thank you for a lovely stay!
The dirtiest hotel I’ve ever seen (and I’ve been to 47 countries). The layer of dust, human hair, crumbs and pieces of God knows what everywhere in the room. Service is horrible. Receptionists ignoring you and their job duties. The pool is so cold you can’t swim with 34 degrees Celsius outside. The food is bad.
Reception is slow and cumbersome. Even though we booked and paid for the room with breakfast, they wanted to make us pay for the breakfast again. After an hour's discussion, they managed to prevent the reservation in their system.
People at the reception were kind so if it's your intention to stay talking to them all night - this is the best option they have.
I didn't like the long check in. the staff could not find my payment and said breakfast was not included. After the arrival of the manager, everything was resolved.
A manager came to speak with us and offered complement but we we are asking for a refund for the first day

We had a very pleasant stay, the staff is exceptional and the Manager Mr Khaled was very helpful in accommodating an issue we had. Thanks again for making our stay great, will definitely be back again!
We went to have our Breakfast at the MoX restaurant. Food was very good along with the special service they provided. However , they need to add on more variety regards to some of their own specialities as the breakfast was more focused on continental items. I give 4star for food out of 5 and 5 out of for service.
Breakfast here was very good, variety of foods and freshly made. I liked the omelette station. In addition the staff were very friendly, attentive and super efficient. Nevien and the manager Walla in particular were excellent
If you are vacationing or looking for a romantic getaway I wouldn't recommend this place because of where it's located there's no view, but if it's business this is definitely the place you should be. I do love the fact that it is really close to the airport. Their staff are lovely and really helpful. Had a good time.
Staff are very helpful. The rooms are good, but the carpet can use some renovations. The service is excellent except in the 1122 bar (the lobby bar). Excellent experience staying here. Lovely (if slightly dated) hotel with great amenities and a full service staff. Great room, we had a city view that was better than expected. Nice variety of dining options. Very helpful concierge who helped us go on a neighborhood/river walk.
It is a luxurious hotel in every sense of the word, quiet and elegant. The buffet was excellent. I enjoyed breakfast every morning while watching the view of the Nile. Location is very good and a lot of facilities around it, rooms are very clean, restaurant for breakfast is good . The only bad experience with me when I didn't find water in the room I called the reception and informed my request and they informed they will send water , but they didn't. Overall, it's ok for short staying periods.
The property is beautiful with a finesse of Egyptian art and culture. The food is great but this rating is poor just because of the behavior of reception staff. They don't understand that their tone of talking is rude. In hospitality sector, this is a sure shot deal breaker. I would rather stay at the Intercontinental which is near by.

Had a wonderful experience. Wonderful customer relation and nice breakfast set up. Nice room condition and loved the big pool. It's really a place to be
Place is good, but rooms are not up to the mark and maintenance is that good. I can say it's kind of a 2 star hotel but the building and view everything is like a 5star hotel. The architecture of this hotel is very rich, if maintenance is bit improved it will be very nice.
A decent stay! But the food is not up to the mark in terms of flavour palette. The pool is quite big and accessible.
Clean Hotel with great interior spaces and landscape, the pool is specially enjoyable. Food is good and service is average. The rooms are also average in furniture but above average in size. It is very close to the new grand museum of Egypt.
This is not a super fancy hotel but it is great value overall. It's quite clean and has a very nice pool for relaxation. And security measures in the reception is not great as anyone can easily enter the room areas from outside. I didn't feel very safe to be honest. Other...
I like this place as it is clean and modern hotel. It has a nice swimming pool with three levels:70 cm, 130 cm and 2 m. And it is quiet long and warm. They offer good food, not high prices, area for kids to play. The only thing I don't like - we don't have doors between our room and kids room 😭😟 So to have some privacy inside your room it is hard. The view is nice, the staff is friendly and helpful...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Al Masa Hotel in Nasr City, and I can confidently say that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the hotel staff, who went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was both comfortable and memorable. A special shoutout to Mohamed Hassen at the front desk, who truly made a lasting impression with...
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is ideal, offering a calm and peaceful atmosphere while being conveniently close to the city center and numerous attractions. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel
The staff are great, just a small issue with the professionalism of the management. If you are going to go, then avoid dealing with them if you can. The rooms are run down and massively disappointing compared to the look of the hotel but for the price having a bed to sleep that is safe as it's a military hotel can't complain. The shower floods the bathroom every time you use it, the floor is covered...
Hotel general setup is great; decorations and quality are super. When it comes to accommodation, then things start to change. Unfortunately, I didn't like the quality of furniture in the room, they are a bit old. Electrical appliances are broken. Mini bar is fairly supplied. For the price I paid per night, it's definitely not worth 100$ per night. Also, room service is expensive, not to mention that...
first of all, the service was very bad the staff are very careless. The food they sell here is very bad it’s not eatable the hospitality is very bad aswell the swimming pool is nice the place is nice just the service they need to fix it and the salon is very very very bad i don’t recommend only for hair it’s good but i went to get my nails done just simple gel it was very bad and my brother went to...
Loved our stay here in Cairo. It is a very nice, luxious, super-secure compound with a cinema, bowling alley, and restaurants in the complex. The pool area was super nice. The chicken wings/chicken lollipops were delicious and reasonably priced. The rooms for the original al masa hotel are a little older, but the common areas are grand.
Altough staff was very polite in general, We have to point out that even though it was my boyfriend´s birthday, no one sent him nothing pr gave him a special discount in any of the facilities. Huge mistake specially for a 5 stars hotel.
The service the lady at the reciption she was not profissional att all and not helpful and she keep me waiting for 2h30min

Great location, right next to the Pyramids of Giza. We had the view of the Pyramids from our hotel windows. Breakfast buffet was amazing and included in the deal. They have great service. Overall a good hotel. Our family of 3 went there in Dec, 2019. Stayed their for 3 nights. Car parking was provided for a nominal charge. Very large swimming pools in the middle of the hotel.
Awesome place food is expensive but you have to try grilled shrimps...Staff are not bad but location and pool is great!
Were only at lunch. in a restaurant with a huge group of several dozen tour buses. And I must say that the restaurant with honor withstood such an influx of tourists. It was delicious and, most importantly, quite promptly, while the tables were clean and perfectly served.
I recommend that the hotel is considered not bad, the room is cleaned well, the food is like everywhere else in Egypt, you won’t stay hungry, but there is no abundance, a good pool, there are few people in summer, they don’t speak Russian, you need to know English, they used ironing and washing, they brought things quickly, everything is in excellent condition, no complaints.
This is a personal hotel for the price-quality ratio. PS And here you can see the pyramid of Cheops.
I loved this hotel! While it's pretty standard looking as far as decor and set up goes, the Pyramid views are unrivaled! It was surreal to be able to sit on the balcony and watch the pyramids at sunset with a glass of wine. The hotel also includes a large breakfast, that has something for everyone. The spa is nice, and there's a free gym which is awesome too. It's definitely the best hotel you'll find...

I must say that the service in the Baron hotel Cairo was exceptional. All the staff members from the front entrance to the restaurant staff, to the front desk and with special emphasis on one particular room service girl, Jakline, who was very, kind, respectful, humble and always spoke with a sweet smile and personality. One small recommendation is to improve the elevator time and speed. It is too...
Nice hotel. Very quiet Personal are friendly and professional. Breakfast is good The bistro restaurant is a great option, for dinner
I have been to this hotel for a business trip. The location is very convenient both to the airport and the office area. the area is quiet while being in a city like Cairo The staff is very helpful and the service is top. Great rooms, a touch of modernity could be an extra value. Breakfast and dinner very good. Too bad the pool was closed, I hope in my next trip to be able to use it.
Title: Baron Hotel: Heliopolis' Time Capsule of Mediocrity Review: Having stayed at the Baron Hotel in Heliopolis twice in the last three years, including just a few days ago, I can confidently say that nothing has changed—literally, nothing. This place is like a time capsule of mediocrity, preserving every element of unprofessionalism and incompetence from my previous visit. The staff remains impressively...
Stayed for 3 days, 2 days to go. So far pretty good, room is very clean and not old. Service is pretty good. Found good restaurants nearby to eat at walking distance. Breakfast is nice. So far good👍

I spended a wonderful time with helm foundation team and axa ? I will never forget this lovely place
Welcoming staff, but insufficient structure (no entrance indication, no hot water at night, no internet in the room, way improvable cleanness..)
Hotel is good but the location to reach it is not easy as there's no sign for the hotel outside the Olympic area

Stayed there for a night. The staff are courteous and the establishment is quite clean. The limousine service associated with the hotel was unreliable and overpriced. Location is a little bit isolated (a 6-10km drive to the nearest mall).
The hotel looks small from outside, but I got amazed how big it is from inside. The hotel is new and clean. I loved the decorations. Food was so tasty. Besides, it is so close to Fifth Settlement, Heliopolis and Nasr City. It was my first visit, but definitely not my last.
Edit 7/17/23: I received enough follow ups from the hotel management regarding my concerns about noise level and that this would be addressed promptly, hence edited my review to focus on the things I enjoyed rather than the drawbacks. Rooms: 4/5, they do a great job maintaining and keeping the rooms in tip top shape. There were a few blemishes to our 2 rooms, but nothing that we haven't seen elsewhere...
The best hotel in Cairo, in my experience: I came already 3 times in this hotel. Very comfortable rooms, sparkling clean and absolutely quiet: there was a wedding in the swimming pool and with windows closed no sound reach the room. The staff is polite, available to solve problems and very honest. Great breakfast buffet with changes every day. Gym and parking are free. There is a green area just behind...
