Perfectly located on the West Bank, close to all the main sites and just a short walk from the ferry to the East Bank. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly at home thanks to the warm welcome from all the staff. This is the kind of place with its own identity, nice style anywhere you look.
Breakfast is delicious and the dinners by the pool are pure magic — the perfect way to end a day of exploring. Speaking of the pool, it’s a lifesaver after sightseeing in the summer heat!
A huge thank you to Allah and Mohammed for making our stay so special, and of course to Queenie, one of the owners (the cat!), a cutie, always there to greet you. We left with new friends and wonderful memories.

Authenticate hotel on the West Bank of Luxor. Lovely staff and great service. Location is just 2 mins walk from the Nile and an ideal location for all the West Bank hotspots like valley of the kings etc. Rooms are a little dated but air conditioned and clean. Pool is a great bonus and is well cleaned. Breakfast also basic but delicious. If you want great service and location without the frills then this place is great. Look to east bank if you want more luxury. Will definitely be returning here. WiFi also available in main areas but weak in rooms.

We didn't stay here but for 100ep you can use their super lovely pool.. very clean, free towels, pool side service. Food is a bit pricey than elsewhere but real tasty and by a pool so what's not to love.

The hotel has great location very near to the riverbank and the boats. I loved the beautiful garden with different kinds of flowers, trees and palms together with the sound of the birds makes the surrounding atmosphere very lovely and peaceful. All the staff and the owner were friendly and helpful. The rooms are little outdated but it matches the surrounding village vibes and still very comfortable and air-conditioned. The local food 🍲 in the restaurant is very delicious and cooked in professional way. I didn't use the pool but it looks very good. The prices are very reasonable.

Rooms were a little outdated but very comfortable and had a cute balcony overlooking the courtyard. Very good local meals and cheap drinks. Staff were lovely and the owner was great fun and friendly. Gorgeous flowers and lots of birds in the courtyard creates a lovely peaceful atmosphere.

Rooms are outdated and you can see through the cracks. During the winter months there is no heating and is freezing in the rooms. They provided a small heater that turned off after 30 min. Internet barely works so I left as soon as I saw all this to a proper hotel. I looked at breakfast and it didn’t look well and overpriced 250EGP / person ( went out and had proper breakfast for 150EGP

I spent two wonderful weeks at El Gezira Hotel and also enjoyed meals at the neighbouring El Gezira Garden Hotel. This is a great location for anyone who wants to explore the many splendours of Luxor but also wants to get a feel for Egyptian life. Situated on the somewhat quieter West Bank of the Nile, it's close to the ferry stop and any number of shops. The staff are very friendly and hospitable and happy to help with anything from taxi rides to special dietary requests. The food is fresh and delicious and even tastier on the rooftop at sundown.😊 Understandably most guests are regulars!

Restaurant is nothing else but a scam.
The fruit juices are water with a bit of juice.
Club Sandwich was without any sauce, just 4 slices of eggs between bread with a bit of chicken.
The place is nice though, but don’t take anything else than a coffee, you will be disappointed.
