Good for tourist location And food is ok😏. Descent room but no room service (unless you ask). Daytime receptionist Mr Azar is a very gentle men. Afternoon time receptionist (don’t know his name, bit heavy looking) is a grumpy and always angry. Normally he shouts and treat you like NOT a guest. Just watch out for him if you will stay here.

It is an okay place to stay. It is near to places to eat. There are few Om Hashem's restaurants nearby. Checking in and checking out procedure was fast. Room was big and comfortable. I just wished they prepare some basic toiletries or let the customer choose to have them by paying a little extra. Downside is, I wished I could get more varieties in the breakfast options.

Rooms are very spacious. Food is okay. One of the best customer service experienced in Egypt. Value for money.

Beautiful place. Quiet. Staff are really friendly and helpful. It is small and cozy. There is a small pool with different heights and a separate part for children. The pool is small but convenient. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a panoramic elevator as well.

We stayed there for 2 days and it was a pleasant stay. Specially in such low cost it provided every facility needed. was good with Karnak temple being 10 mins walking. The cook was very friendly and prepared anything we asked for. Would recommend people to stay here with low budget.Thanks.

Very Nice place and very good service with a good price

Excellent private villa in a quiet location 15 mins outside of Luxor with great views of the River Nile. We were all taken care of very well by the team headed up by Mohamed. He organised a private chef for us ( Ahmed ) who cooked breakfast and 2 evening meals. Everything was fresh, tasty & exactly how we liked it. Saba is a 24 hour staff member that stays in staff quarters away from the villa...

This was our second visit to the beautiful HOUSE of HATHOR. If you have been to many of Egypts amazing sites you maybe ready for some well deserved relaxation. This place has it all. Elegance, big spaces....and of course located on the NILE. Surrounded by a small village and farmlands it is safe and welcoming. The pool is so well maintained every day that all those chemicals and chlorine are not needed...

Scorpion Guest House is so wonderful, the owners are so friendly and nice. Its on the Westbank very near too Hatschepsut, the Valley off the ik kings and Queens. The food here is amazing. The rooms are very clean and so cosy. So when you want too visit Luxor come to Scorpion Guest House. ☀️🌴🙏❤️

Fantastic staff and location. If you want to have more of a local experience that is close to all the sites, Valley of Queens/Kings, hot air ballon, nile cruises, and craft shopping. This is the spot for 1-2 days. Stop by the Nubian House Restaurant for an amazing local meal

Wonderful. The atmosphere of a great guest house but with the service of a good hotel. Loved the food, the helpful staff, the beautiful views. Don't be put off by its location. If you do taxi and ferry you're in town in 30 minutes. 45 in a minibus. And it let's you visit the valley of the queen's and habu temple with sneaky early morning ease.

We absolutely loved staying at this guest-house. The decor was lovely, the setting was picturesque, and the staff was super accommodating. Being so close to such an amazing temple was also amazing! It was very nice to be outside of the Luxor city proper to get some peace and quiet. Would definitely recommend!

I don't know where to start. The hotel looks beautiful from the outside and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything else is a nightmare even for a 3 star standard hotel. In the room there is nothing to welcome you not even a bottle of water. You can ear the noise of the staff carrying stud around in the garden after midnight. We arrived to the room and it looks very old, TV does not work...

The garden is amazing and the breakfast was good! Staff were very friendly. However, I saw some dirt and hair by the pool and there was a dead cockroach in our room. Originally we booked a room at the other newer building but it seemed like they closed that other building because there weren’t that many tourists. It's classified as a five star hotel but in reality it's a little old and worse for wear. The staff are fantastic and the attentiveness is very good. Premises and garden are beautiful, but service is really bad. The space isn't used wisely well. The terrace overviewing the garden doesn't have enough seating and you don't get any service. The hotel architecture is gorgeous and the garden is spectacular. It's nice if you want to have a drink after sightseeing. A lot of potential in this place. We spent a night at the Iberotel Luxor before catching a ship to Aswan. The hotel is close to the Luxor airport and convenient to town. The front desk was efficient in checking us in and provided all the information needed when requested. I enjoyed the 24 hour room service since our flight arrived late into the night. The food  (fish fillet) surpassed expectations and was brought to us not long after...

We had an amazing time at Iberotel. The staff made our stay worth every second. I especially want to thank Mohamed (Osama) the swimming pool bartender for his hospitality and care.

This hotel is beautifully located in the center of Luxor overlooking the river nile. The service at the pool was easily the best we’ve ever experienced. The life guard made sure we had comfortable sun beds and positioned the sun umbrellas so that we could even enjoy a day by the pool at 40 degrees. The bar tender was extremely attentive and ensured we always had a cool drink in our hands.

right in the middle of Luxor, on the bank of the river Nile, 2 mins away from the motor boat pier to cross to the west bank 30-40EGP per boat, 5 minute walk from Luxor temple and the main souk. the room we stayed in was very basic, but very clean. the room cleaner was very good at his job.

Although my room was not available when I arrived due to a water heater repair, the hotel put me up in a nearby spacious apartment which was lovely. Beautiful Hotel. Every room has a small balcony and nice view of swimming pool and Nile River. I saw hot balloons in the morning. Beautiful! Location is perfect. The room is good, the bathroom is very big but not good design and cold. No hair dryer. Pillow and doona aren’t comfortable.

Centrally located but hotel felt old and service wasn’t that great. Nile river views are great if you are luck enough to get a room on that side. The restaurants inside are average as well. Luckily lots of options available on walking distance there.

I loved it. It's a genuine oasis. Extensive gardens and my room had a large bedroom and bathroom. Staff very professional and attentive. Great hotel with an amazing garden and swimming pool area. It shares the territory with Sofitel. We enjoyed a St.Valentine's weekend there, no need to go out from the territory. The hotel is amazing for the price. The garden is awesome and the personnel is very caring. I came in January, tourists were absent: I was allowed to check in at 10am and check out at 5pm. I highly recommend.

I was so happy finding this quite place as it is conducive for providing good night rest for sensitive sleepers. Basic hotel with a good location over looking the Nile. Rooms basic and had to ask for everything: towels, cleaning etc. Room cleaning did not always happen despite us asking. West bank location is good - just ask for the nearby public ferry to cross.

Fine hotel on the west bank of luxor. I can really advise to stay on this side to avoid the crowds, busy street and lots of noisy and smelly vehicles on the east bank. On arrival we got a proper welcome, with a welcome drink on the rooftop terrace and explanations what to do in and around luxor. Best hotel in Luxor! Mohamed and his staff were amazing. They helped arrange for incredible tours around the Valley of the Kings. Later, Mohamed arranged for a sail boat on the Nile River to see the sunset. Hotel has the best location, with an incredible balcony view of the Nile River. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. One of the best place during our twenty traveling days in Egypt! Very comfortable rooms, gentle staff, in a quiet aerea (which is luxury in the cities along the Nil). Yet the Kings Valley is not far: West (side of Luxor) is the best! The food is good and the prices are always reasonable (another luxury). Ahmed is a nice manager and "the queen" an excellent cooker!
