Guest Houses in Luxor

My tour guide booked the hotel for me. It was fine when he was around, the next morning when I asked for breakfast they said your stay doesn't include breakfast, they offered me breakfast after 12 in the afternoon and said sorry for the mistake. The wifi was not working at all. The room was good with a small tv, fridge, ac, and bathroom. The view from the roof is good.

I spent 2 days in Queens valley and it was a good experience. Hotel location is super as the Sphinx Avenue is in front of the nile view rooms, Luxor temple is 10 mins walk from the hotel and different restaurants are nearby. Breakfast was neutral but not bad. The roof view is amazing, but in my last night there were different attendees sitting in the roof rather than the hotel guests which caused noisy...

Good for tourist location And food is ok😏. Descent room but no room service (unless you ask). Daytime receptionist Mr Azar is a very gentle men. Afternoon time receptionist (don’t know his name, bit heavy looking) is a grumpy and always angry. Normally he shouts and treat you like NOT a guest. Just watch out for him if you will stay here.

It is an okay place to stay. It is near to places to eat. There are few Om Hashem's restaurants nearby. Checking in and checking out procedure was fast. Room was big and comfortable. I just wished they prepare some basic toiletries or let the customer choose to have them by paying a little extra. Downside is, I wished I could get more varieties in the breakfast options.

Rooms are very spacious. Food is okay. One of the best customer service experienced in Egypt. Value for money.

Beautiful place. Quiet. Staff are really friendly and helpful. It is small and cozy. There is a small pool with different heights and a separate part for children. The pool is small but convenient. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a panoramic elevator as well.

Excellent private villa in a quiet location 15 mins outside of Luxor with great views of the River Nile. We were all taken care of very well by the team headed up by Mohamed. Modern villa, very well maintained and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Mohammed the house manager. He did everything for us and fulfilled our various wishes! I highly recommend booking the house!

This was our second visit to the beautiful HOUSE of HATHOR. If you have been to many of Egypts amazing sites you maybe ready for some well deserved relaxation. This place has it all. Elegance, big spaces....and of course located on the NILE. Surrounded by a small village and farmlands it is safe and welcoming. The pool is so well maintained every day that all those chemicals and chlorine are not needed...

Scorpion Guest House is so wonderful, the owners are so friendly and nice. Its on the Westbank very near too Hatschepsut, the Valley off the ik kings and Queens. The food here is amazing. The rooms are very clean and so cosy. So when you want too visit Luxor come to Scorpion Guest House. ☀️🌴🙏❤️

Fantastic staff and location. If you want to have more of a local experience that is close to all the sites, Valley of Queens/Kings, hot air ballon, nile cruises, and craft shopping. This is the spot for 1-2 days. Stop by the Nubian House Restaurant for an amazing local meal

Wonderful. The atmosphere of a great guest house but with the service of a good hotel. Loved the food, the helpful staff, the beautiful views. Don't be put off by its location. If you do taxi and ferry you're in town in 30 minutes. 45 in a minibus. And it let's you visit the valley of the queen's and habu temple with sneaky early morning ease.

We absolutely loved staying at this guest-house. The decor was lovely, the setting was picturesque, and the staff was super accommodating. Being so close to such an amazing temple was also amazing! It was very nice to be outside of the Luxor city proper to get some peace and quiet. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic local guesthouse, great location near the Valleys, staff are really friendly and ensure you have a great stay. Very pleased to have discovered Iberotel, enjoyed its central location, Nile views and the professional attitude of management and staff. We felt welcome and cared for during our three day stay. Already planning to return to Luxor and visit sites we didn't manage to go to - hope to be able to stay at the hotel again. Would gladly recommend to anyone planning to visit Luxor.

We spent a night at the Iberotel Luxor before catching a ship to Aswan. The hotel is close to the Luxor airport and convenient to town. The front desk was efficient in checking us in and provided all the information needed when requested. I enjoyed the 24 hour room service since our flight arrived late into the night. right in the middle of Luxor, on the bank of the river Nile, 2 mins away from the motor boat pier to cross to the west bank 30-40EGP per boat, 5 minute walk from Luxor temple and the main souk. the room we stayed in was very basic, but very clean. the room cleaner was very good at his job.

The Sofitel Winter Palace is one of the most grand and beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in! The hotel is massive with really high ceilings and is very ornate! Very nice and cozy place, we didn't stay there overnight, we just went to have a look and see the old things and learn about the history of this place. The drinks we ordered were very enjoyable and delicious, the staff was very polite and easy to communicate with they speak many languages which we find very considered. The Winter Palace Hotel is excellent. The service is refined and attentive, with staff who truly care for every detail. Perfectly situated near historic sites, the location offers both convenience and stunning views. The ambiance is elegant and timeless, making for an experience of true distinction. A great hotel with lots of history. Really beautiful grounds. Convenient having hassle-free shops inside. Really centrally located - walkable to key sights. The bathroom design was a bit strange, specifically the showers. But overall very comfortable rooms. The service little old-world stuffy for my liking, but would be loved by an older crowd.

Have not stayed here yet. We dropped in for some refreshments at two different locations. First, after a stroll about the gardens - we stopped at the poolside cafe to have some beer. We asked for nuts but the staff said we would need to go inside to the bar for that. This room was amazing, breakfast was great, and staff were really helpful and professional. Above all the location was very perfect. Right across the street from the boat leading to the air balloon tours, and 10min cab ride to Karnak temple, and a few minutes to Luxor temple. Best location in very economical price to visit whole east side by walk. Rooms are average as on trip u just went there to sleep so they are good enough for peaceful sleep. Location is the best advantage. Staff and manager is very cooperative

Nice hotel to stay with family. This is an old building, close to the Nile and tourist places. The rooms were clean. To get hot water you need to open the tap and wait for more than 10 minutes. Breakfast and room service were good. Good value for the money.

It's perfect considering the price they are charging. The staff are very friendly, one of the best to ever find in a hotel. I haven't tried the restuarant fully, I only tried the breakfast and it's very good, the taste and the portions you get are enough to keep you full until 7PM. The rooms are good, the beds are comfy and you will sleep well. There's no WiFi and the TV services are not enough...

The quality of the place is fair comparing the price! The service is good. The location is better than many other options as it is closer to the Nile, not far from the interesting places but it is quieter than the very centre. People there are very welcoming

I'd go back to Egypt just for the Al Moudira. It may be my favorite property I've ever stayed at — a true oasis in the middle of the desert. The staff is super friendly and attentive, the food is delicious, and the architecture & design are incomparable.

A stunning location with impeccable service. As we lounged by the pool, the chef made sure to make us fresh and delicious smoothies. The Egyptian dinner was amazing and was one of our favorite meals in Egypt! The breakfast also included a beautiful buffet of delicious treats homemade from their local produce. Excellent value hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious and it had a beautiful position on the bank of the Nile. Also I can't speak highly enough of the staff, especially Osama. I had to change my travel plans at short notice and he helped me to book flights and coordinate an airport transfer. Basic hotel with a good location over looking the Nile. Rooms basic and had to ask for everything: towels, cleaning etc. Room cleaning did not always happen despite us asking. Staff only friendly if selling something ie tours. Breakfast and restaurant pleasant and more friendly. Swimming pool a nice bonus. Fine hotel on the west bank of luxor. I can really advise to stay on this side to avoid the crowds, busy street and lots of noisy and smelly vehicles on the east bank. Our bathroom smelled funny the first night, but by the time we were checking out, it smelled like someone was killed, chopped to pieces, and buried in the walls. The shower was disgusting. Huge clumps of hair strung along the walls. The pool was pretty and clean tho, I'll give em that.

I was so happy finding this quite place as it is conducive for providing good night rest for sensitive sleepers. We stayed at an amazing hotel on the West Bank, and it was truly a fantastic experience. The hotel boasts a great pool, and the service was exceptional. The staff and the boss were incredibly welcoming. They also have a great restaurant with a menu that's very affordable for the quantity, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel!

One of the best place during our twenty traveling days in Egypt! Very comfortable rooms, gentle staff, in a quiet aerea (which is luxury in the cities along the Nil). Yet the Kings Valley is not far: West (side of Luxor) is the best! The food is good and the prices are always reasonable (another luxury). Ahmed is a nice manager and "the queen" an excellent cooker!
