I want to live at this hotel - everything is special and thoughtfully placed. Wish I’d had more time - don’t sleep on the food here either, this one probably the best meal I had in Egypt. Everything was so fresh and flavorful and good - amazing place.

Met and exceeded all expectations (which were very high). Beautiful, romantic oasis that was a great home base for sight seeing. Food and service were impeccable.

A Tale of Elegance and Luxury
From the moment I stepped through the grand entrance of this magnificent 5-star oasis, I felt transported to a realm straight out of 1001 Nights. The exquisite blend of traditional Arabian opulence and modern luxury creates an atmosphere of pure magic.
The attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel’s design is nothing short of breathtaking. Ornate arches, intricate mosaics, and lush courtyards evoke the splendor of a royal palace. The villa was a sanctuary of comfort, featuring sumptuous furnishings, fine textiles, and a beautiful garden with stunning views of the desert sunset.
The service was impeccable, with every member of the staff embodying warmth and professionalism. From personalized greetings to anticipating my every need, their dedication to excellence was evident. The dining experience was equally extraordinary. Each meal was a culinary journey, showcasing the finest local and international cuisine, served with Arabic flair.
For those seeking a luxurious escape steeped in romance and tradition, this hotel is an unparalleled gem. I cannot wait to return.

A perfect 10 out of 10! I was hesitant at first, wondering if the photos would match reality, and I’m glad to say my expectations were fully met. The hotel looks just like in the pictures. It feels as if time has stood still here since the early 20th century: antique interiors, books available for reading, grand high arches, and spacious halls – truly an oasis in the midst of bustling, crowded Egypt.
The rooms are cleaned regularly, and all bathroom fixtures are spotless—almost as if they were just installed. There is no intrusive music, neither in the restaurants nor by the pool—this place is designed for escaping the hustle and bustle of the world and giving your mind a break from constant thoughts. It makes you want to lounge by the pool all day, reading books.
The hotel grounds invite you to take peaceful walks through the inner garden and the herb garden, where various plants are grown. The staff is incredibly attentive and courteous. The attention to detail from the hotel's designer is truly impressive—it feels like every little thing has been carefully thought out.
This hotel is worth every penny. I will definitely return.

We had lunch at Almoudira the hotel is amazing very well thought out. The Bazar has unique pieces and the food was an interesting take on Egyptian dishes. But the vibe was off as it felt there was so many staff doing renovations. And the restaurant staff weren’t the friendliest people.

A boutique hotel in the true sense of the word. You will have an unforgettable stay with a pinch on the pocket.
The attention to detail in the decor, and regarding the quality of food is brilliant. Their rooms are unique.
The only drawback (or not) is the fact that it is a bit far from the city, and takes an effort to get here if you don't have cabs handy.

The Hotel is a gem. Fabulous food with ingredients from their own farm. Amazing garden as a true hide away. Architecture like a private estate with lot of history. Service very personal and not the usual top hotel speech.
The different sizes of the villas are perfect for either families or groups with necessity for more privacy.
I really enjoyed the stay.

No doubt this is the best hotel in Egypt. My room was huge, larger than any suite I have been in, full of antiques, beautiful vintage photographs (originals), with amazing murals and vintage marble floors. The pool is definitely the most beautiful hotel pool I have seen made from old marble stairs of the Alexandria palaces. Food was excellent, both the Egyptian restaurant, but also fine dining and I was surprised to eat an amazing pizza next to the wood oven in the beautiful, lush 4ha Moudira gardens. Moudira reflects the best of Middle Eastern hospitality, and is the perfect long-stay and retreats place in Egypt, in my opinion, the only one that can compete (and exceed) the levels of the 5 star Marrakech hospitality.

What a wonderful hotel. Full of character and charm, friendly accommodating staff and excellent food and drinks. We only stayed here for two nights in October ‘24 and wish we had stayed here longer.

I'd go back to Egypt just for the Al Moudira. It may be my favorite property I've ever stayed at — a true oasis in the middle of the desert. The staff is super friendly and attentive, the food is delicious, and the architecture & design are incomparable.
