Jewel of the Valley Howard Carter Hotel

We stayed at an amazing hotel on the West Bank, and it was truly a fantastic experience. The hotel boasts a great pool, and the service was exceptional. The staff and the boss were incredibly welcoming. They also have a great restaurant with a menu that's very affordable for the quantity, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel!

Priceless stay in Luxor... Very peaceful after walk in all the temples Ruins and tombs. Mr. Zaid and all the staff were very kindly and worry for all details during our staying. Organic farm for the restaurant...awsome food🥬🫒🍆.

Although the hotel is a little out of the way, it’s a really nice place to spend a night after you’re done with East Bank sights and are going to visit the West Bank sights (like Valley of the Kings) the next day.

The hotel is well-appointed, the rooms are comfortable, and the common areas are really nice. The pool is heated and has a wonderful seating area
We had dinner (prices are denominated in USD, and it’s definitely a bit on the pricier end considering it’s Egypt, but worth it imo) and we were blown away by the service. Ahmed and Mohammed were both very attentive to the needs of our group of eight (multi generational family). The food was fresh and a lot of their veggies and fruits are from their own organic farm

The bed mattress could be more comfortable (it was very springy) but it really doesn’t matter if you’re staying there for a night

Very nice hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful. The rooms are super clean and everything works. The bathroom is also spotlessly clean with great large towels and great shower.

A very nice place to relax after seeing sights around Luxor!

We had a lovely stay, the hotel is located in a very local area but is so beautiful and serene. We really appreciate the staff’s attention to detail and their effort to do everything in their power to make our stay perfect and worry-free. They helped us get a guide last second for the valley of kings and Karnak temple as well as a sunset sailing trip on the Nile. Warmly recommend anyone to book this hotel if you want a heartfelt and sincere stay where locals do their best to give you a wonderful time!

Extremely caring and supportive staff. We needed help with our itinerary and Said helped us get into contact with the right people! Rooms are spacious, clean, and beautiful. We had an awesome experience! The first reason why I loved my stay at the Howard Carter Hotel is the staff: they are always caring, kind and genuinely happy to help in any regards. On top of that, the structure itself is top notch: marble paved terrace at the ground floor with elegant restaurant area and clean, blue-lighted swimming pool, relaxing areas with sofas, spectacular lightning. Then the rooms themselves: they are clean, recently renovated and decorated in a unique and original way. A/C, large shower, coffee and coffee maker, super clean and comfy linen and towels. Big smart TV. The surrounding consist of a relaxing, quiete, fresh and green countryside on the Nile borders.

Last but not the least, the restaurant serves amazing food and fresh vegetables and fruit coming from the surroundings!

We had a wonderful time at the Jewel Carter Hotel in Luxor . The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a Smart TV adding to our comfort. The highlight was definitely the swimming pool, where we relaxed after exploring the city. The staff was excellent in hospitality and service. We opted for a package including breakfast and dinner, and the food was exceptional, with a wide range of options available. Overall, our experience exceeded expectations, and we highly recommend the Jewel Carter Hotel to anyone visiting Luxor. We look forward to returning in the future!

Wonderful hôtel with very sympathetic people!
Room is very big and we'll equiped. Even if this hotel is not close to downtown, it allows to have a nice walk along the Nile and the view from the bedroom is really great.
The restaurant is good, no need to go outside to eat.

Fabulous location firstly, why because it is in a local rustic area. Food, all organic. Anything you want they organize. Swimming pool and jacuzzi great after a day of sightseeing. On West Bank and very close to many ancient sites. Very very clean and comfortable. Host exceptional.
