A lovely location on the west bank of luxor. Everyone on the west bank knows it and its operators. They greeted us at the train station and organized a BBQ on our last day. They were very helpful and patient. At times, we felt the need to sell services or products outweighed our personal comfort, but it wasn't over-bearing. Such a great place to stay in Luxor, you have private swimming pools, restaurants, room service, ATMs, mini golf carts that can drop off at your room and back and they have a very good service where you can book your tours for west and east bank. Really enjoyed the stay and the rooms that we stayed in had a private balcony with a large room inside.

I don’t think this hotel five stars is. The location is very goed, but hygiene and cleaning are not good, in the bathroom I saw mold and very small worms. cleaner woke me up at 7:30 to get a tip. I asked one king size bed, I got a part two persons bed.

Any trips out need taxi or hotel's shuttle bus. But hotel in great location for visiting west bank sites and Luxor Rooms well serviced daily. Public areas clean, no rubbish laying around. Greeting you with a smile, all staff were very helpful and nothing too much trouble.

Customer Service is outstanding. Location is convenience and close to stores and attractions . Price was reasonable. Rooms well-kept and clean. Strongly recommended this hotel. Breakfast was excellent. We were very happy to stay in this hotel.

Nice hotel with quaint rooms and the service was friendly. We had dinner here and the food was okay, but it was nice to sit by the pool and have a few drinks.

Very nice hotel. Can see the nile river from my room. Staffs were very nice. Especially the young men who can speak a little Chinese, he is super friendly and always giving you a smile whenever he sees you.

Good Location. Clean and Comfortable. Lying on the sun-bathing chair at night to see the stars there is really cozy. Need to be aware that the shower facilities is just soso, the water pressure is not strong enough

Booked two rooms here. Breakfast was good. Rooms were renovated to have wooden floors so they were clean. Water pressure for the shower was really low though. Sheets also not crisp. But overall, higher than average.

This hotel is so beautiful. I really don’t have anything negative to say. The food is wonderful 10 out of 10. Everyone here is so kind. I dropped my passport here, and I realize this once I got to the airport. The staff searched for it and gave it to my guide. I made my flight on time! I’m so thankful.

The hotel was very clean and it was near the center of interesting places of visit. The breakfast was topnotch and the workers were very helpful. I would recommend the hotel for singles and couples with children.

The interior is good, room is clean in general. But we visited in end Nov which is very cold at night, no heating in the room is really not ideal, not sure if it’s common in Luxor. Also the internet is not working well.

It was an amazing experience. The hotel is set by Nile with beautiful layout and surroundings. There are boats and taxis waiting for the customers, many restaurants with good reviews and hotel's own restaurant and 24 hours room service. Staff was very nice and courteous. Very nice hotel with an amazing view of the Nile. Good ratio between price and quality. The staff were very attentive and the room was very clean and nice. It felt like an oasis amidst the hustle of Luxor city.

Nice nile view If it is possible choose nile view room. Garden view room has nothing to see. They made us do early checkin and that was so thankful. If you want taxi you need to go to the gate and to luxor airport it costs 200egp from this airport

Pretty old rooms and facilities, but the staff were excellent and extremely accommodating, while the complimentary breakfast was of a high standard.

More than reasonable in regards to cleanness and staff service

Really it was a most wonderful time that I spent our vacation on Luxor City. Gaddis Hotel is became my favorite place to me to stay in, hope to visit it soon. Great service and friendly staff with a wonderful hospitality that gave me the feeling of being in my own place.

We called ahead and booked a room for day use while waiting for an evening flight. The hotel is in a central location, fairly calm, room was a decent size and the hotel management and staff were friendly and efficient - perfect for a rest to escape the heat

Stuff was so helpful and Mr. Ehab was so nice person. I highly recommend it because the staff are very nice and the hotel is fairly cheap but the food is very good and its close to downtown. You get good service and a clean room for a relatively cheap price.

Perfect environment to live in, great infinity pool with sunrise or sunset, but not convenient to go to town center.

It is a very beautiful resort, and the best in Luxor. Enjoyed the spacious compound and view of the Valley of the King and Nile River from the hotel resort. The staff has been very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I like the spa, thermal area and infinity heated pool, which was the most relaxing experience. Highly recommended stay.

Beautiful property right here on the Nile River! Hotel has everything you could need…well equipped gym, beautiful pools, lounging areas, shopping, fantastic spa and nice onsite restaurants. Highlight was the FRESH pita bread served in the mornings!! Would stay here again!

Only one thing bad happened, 10 am today the manager of 5th floor asked me very ramdon wich number of room i have after leaving my room walking in the hall, when i comeback from breakfast 1,200 egyptian money are gone, not there. The hotel is beautiful, clean with good facilities and beautiful views from the garden, pool area, boat restaurant, sultan restaurant etc. It is close to many public amenities you'd need as well but the front desk staff are unnecessarily too serious that it was discomforting. There was no need for the robotic reactions. They have weird pool rules as well. I recommend this place still.

The hotel has a really nice location with a beautiful river view, which we truly enjoyed. The breakfast was also very good and satisfying. However, we found that the staff was not very helpful when it came to cleaning up the tables during breakfast, and the room was a bit noisy due to outside traffic, which affected our sleep. The hotel is just next to the Nile River which we can directly see the view with hot air balloon in the morning from the balcony. We were staying in the hotel on Christmas Day. It was sweet that the hotel prepared a Christmas gift for us. The location of hotel is good that we can walk to the bazar easily.

Great location to major attractions and restaurants. Aly (manager), GiGi, and Badwin took great care of us the entire time. The staff was pleasant and helpful. A wonderful cruise. The service is very good and the staff is the friendliest. Offers excellent food with a variety of dishes and dishes. Drinks are not included though. Excellent solarium with small, lovely pool (towels included). There is no elevator so not recommended for people with mobility issues.

An affordable way to stay in the same grounds as the Winter Palace and to enjoy the same facilities as guests of that hotel. The Pavillion Winter hotel is a cheaper and more modest property. The rooms are basic and have a bit of wear and tear, but the garden view from the balcony is lovely, so it was a great hotel to have a stopover on the way to Aswan - but there are nicer, modern, hotels in Luxor...

We did not stay in the hotel but enjoyed 3 hours looking round the main building, gardens and having a drink in the Royal Bar. Incredibly WOW. Best location ( walkable distance to Luxor Temple) , market place and Nile river opposite to the hotel. Worth the money. Also I had dinner in the Palace and it was mouth watering, mostly had French cuisines and wines.

Of all many hotels we stayed in various towns of Egypt, I remember this one because we had breakfast at tables facing the lovely open garden. On the second morning of our stay (mid December 2024), a wait staff handed me a basil leaf from the garden which smelt so pungent. It made a great start of my day. But then I also encountered a so-so serviceman at breakfast buffet who stood ignorantly watching...

The hotel is in a great location for getting to Luxor Temple and the museums. The pool is also great for relaxing after getting up early to see the sights. The rooms are VERY dated and feels like staying in a 3 star hotel. Could do with some renovations.

The window overlooks the river, and the sunset over the Nile is like a dream. There are many exotic trees in the hotel garden, lush and flourishing. The hotel service is great, coordinating the change and upgrade of room types. If there is a chance, I will come back again!

It is a historic hotel with a beautiful garden. The 1886 restaurant in the hotel is very good, but there is a dress code for men. Although I brought a shirt and trousers, it was still not OK. Fortunately, the hotel provides suits.

The Sofitel Winter Palace is one of the most grand and beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in! The hotel is massive with really high ceilings and is very ornate! We had lunch at Almoudira the hotel is amazing very well thought out. The Bazar has unique pieces and the food was an interesting take on Egyptian dishes. But the vibe was off as it felt there was so many staff doing renovations. And the restaurant staff weren’t the friendliest people.

Nice hotel to stay with family. This is an old building, close to the Nile and tourist places. The rooms were clean. To get hot water you need to open the tap and wait for more than 10 minutes. Breakfast and room service were good. Good value for the money.

It's perfect considering the price they are charging. The staff are very friendly, one of the best to ever find in a hotel. I haven't tried the restuarant fully, I only tried the breakfast and it's very good, the taste and the portions you get are enough to keep you full until 7PM.
