Villa Diletta

Nile - 90 m
It's the best place I've stayed in Egypt with such a great value. Everything was too perfect that actually made my stay in Luxor for a week longer. The location is also ideal, and in case you need to visit East Bank, the national ferry/local boats will take you there in 10 minutes with only 1 L.E. The local area is quiet and safe for a single female traveler. You can't miss this cosy home when being...
Villa Diletta is a treasure just aside the Nile. Mohamed is great and takes care very well about his guests. Unbeatable price/value ratio. Appartment is well equipped, clean and cozy. Thank you!
A lovely location on the west bank of luxor. Everyone on the west bank knows it and its operators. They greeted us at the train station and organized a BBQ on our last day. They were very helpful and patient. At times, we felt the need to sell services or products outweighed our personal comfort, but it wasn't over-bearing. The place is comfortable, the shower works well and people don't hassle you...

The host was excellent. The villa was comfortable and close to the Nile river and restaurants. The private pool was refreshing and just what we needed to relax after our long days of touring the city. The Egyptian people were friendly and always helpful. We were very comfortable here and always felt welcome and safe.

Top notch.. Very nicely done traditional house, clean!! (Hygine and cleanliness standarss in Egypt are very low so, not to be taken for granted). Location cannot be better - views over Valley of Queen, watch hot air baloons every morning, quiet and peaceful but only 10 min drive from the riverbank. Restaurant Habou Garden nearby was best for dinners.

🙏 cool place, with fair price breakfast was okey , they even free upgrade our room.
I always stay at this hotel and I am glad to say it never really changes. Its in such a great location and it is so peaceful and relaxing.
This hotel is perfectly equipped with all you can imagine. Situated in a nice park on the Kings Island, a bit out of town at this splendid view on the Nile River. There are rooms with Nile view. Which are worth to be taken? Some building blocks are a bit apart style, but at economy price. The hotel also facilitates an exhibition center at a time of exhibition it could be crowded and more pricey. The...
This place makes a nice stay. It has its own zoo which is pretty cool. Sunset views by the pool are great. Great amenities. Service is a little slow. Pool is nice and massive. Few different restaurants at the property. Overall it’s a decent stay.
Very nice view of the Nile, enjoyed staying at this hotel especially because of being on a island on the Nile
Any trips out need taxi or hotel's shuttle bus. But hotel in great location for visiting west bank sites and Luxor Rooms well serviced daily. Public areas clean, no rubbish laying around. Greeting you with a smile, all staff were very helpful and nothing too much trouble.

Customer Service is outstanding. Location is convenience and close to stores and attractions . Price was reasonable. Rooms well-kept and clean. Strongly recommended this hotel. Breakfast was excellent. We were very happy to stay in this hotel.
Nice hotel with quaint rooms and the service was friendly. We had dinner here and the food was okay, but it was nice to sit by the pool and have a few drinks.
Very beautiful hotel, with nice view to the pool and Nile river Staff very helpful I will stay there again
Very nice hotel. Can see the nile river from my room. Staffs were very nice. Especially the young men who can speak a little Chinese, he is super friendly and always giving you a smile whenever he sees you.
Good Location. Clean and Comfortable. Lying on the sun-bathing chair at night to see the stars there is really cozy. Need to be aware that the shower facilities is just soso, the water pressure is not strong enough
Great hotel on the Nile. In a good location but on the main street so can be noisy at times. Many restaurants in walking distance

The hotel is good location and a nice views of Nile river and close to a temple by foot and market
This hotel is located in very good location right in front of the Nile River. It’s very enjoyable to sit on the balcony to watch the sunrise and sunset. Breakfast is okay. Hotel is a little bit outdated but the price is reasonable. Overall I recommend it.
Amazing stay, the hotel staff are super nice and helpful, the restaurant there is amazing too and reasonable price
Great location to major attractions and restaurants. Aly (manager), GiGi, and Badwin took great care of us the entire time. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Food at restaurant out of this world amazing. I had the spicy chicken kebab and ate all of it. I'm a give foodie! The rooms were clean and had a view of the Nile river. Would stay here again. I booked my stay based on reviews.

Booked two rooms here. Breakfast was good. Rooms were renovated to have wooden floors so they were clean. Water pressure for the shower was really low though. Sheets also not crisp. But overall, higher than average.
This hotel is so beautiful. I really don’t have anything negative to say. The food is wonderful 10 out of 10. Everyone here is so kind. I dropped my passport here, and I realize this once I got to the airport. The staff searched for it and gave it to my guide. I made my flight on time! I’m so thankful.
Nice hotel, very friendly staff in the restaurants Our room was quite small and no view Only negative was all the people outside the hotel asking for tours they harassed us every time we left and hotel do nothing to help Talk Black guy at Pool bar service was 10/10 did nothing catch his name
Hotel breakfast is really good. The hotel has nice Nile view
The hotel was very clean and it was near the center of interesting places of visit. The breakfast was topnotch and the workers were very helpful. I would recommend the hotel for singles and couples with children.
The interior is good, room is clean in general. But we visited in end Nov which is very cold at night, no heating in the room is really not ideal, not sure if it’s common in Luxor. Also the internet is not working well.

Great room and staff. Locations slightly south of main attraction. Great view of the Nile river. 400 Egyptian pound breakfast buffet reasonable.
Had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Luxor! The location was perfect for exploring the city's main attractions, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a great visit. Would definitely stay here again!
We were here only for lunch. The atmosphere is very nice and the location directly at the Nile is amazing. The food is good. The service is good as well, although it was bit hectic and payment wasn’t that easy.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Steigenberger Resort Achti, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The warm and attentive staff made me feel like part of their family, creating an atmosphere of genuine hospitality. Every detail was thoughtfully attended to, from the comfortable and well-appointed room to the delicious meals. The personalized service and friendly interactions...
We’ve been here just for the lunch while we were visiting Luxor’s temple: the hotel itself is situated on the Nile, having a pool by the river. The lunch was good yet, since we weren’t actual hosts of the hotel, the waiters were a bit rude with us, forcing us to sit in a specific zone and hurrying us to leave the table while still eating. Nonetheless this hotel seems nice for it guests.
Steigenberger has to be one of the best hotels I lodged during my stay in Egypt. Really friendly staff, their service was top notch, the ambience was just amazing and the rooms were really neat and functional. I had a view overlooking the Nile. I loved every bit of my stay here. ☺️ Would definitely recommend their establishment

Pretty old rooms and facilities, but the staff were excellent and extremely accommodating, while the complimentary breakfast was of a high standard.
Such a fantastic experience. The staff are very attentive. Nice large clean rooms. Fantastic breakfast and dinner. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back.
More than reasonable in regards to cleanness and staff service
Really it was a most wonderful time that I spent our vacation on Luxor City. Gaddis Hotel is became my favorite place to me to stay in, hope to visit it soon. Great service and friendly staff with a wonderful hospitality that gave me the feeling of being in my own place.
We called ahead and booked a room for day use while waiting for an evening flight. The hotel is in a central location, fairly calm, room was a decent size and the hotel management and staff were friendly and efficient - perfect for a rest to escape the heat
Stuff was so helpful and Mr. Ehab was so nice person. I highly recommend it because the staff are very nice and the hotel is fairly cheap but the food is very good and its close to downtown. You get good service and a clean room for a relatively cheap price.

Beautiful property right here on the Nile River! Hotel has everything you could need…well equipped gym, beautiful pools, lounging areas, shopping, fantastic spa and nice onsite restaurants. Highlight was the FRESH pita bread served in the mornings!! Would stay here again!
Amazing hotel with a magnificent view over the Nile. Friendly, can do staff. Rooms are in excellent condition. Has a highly equipped thermal SPA with an infinity heated swimming pool. Various restaurants. Food is really tasty. I highly recommend this place.
Pure opulence. We were pampered in every way possible. The sheets and featherbed are so luxuriously soft and comfortable. The food at one of the on-site restaurants ,Olives, was incredible! The two infinity pools overlooking the Nile were simply gorgeous. All of the staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel! We were only there for two nights. This is possibly the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The rooms were extremely comfortable and exceptionally clean. The level of service was also exceptional - especially at reception, the restaurants (both within the hotel and outside by the pool area) and the pool area itself. The staff and service is great. They prepared an excellent breakfast in a box despite being quite early. The shared facilities are very well maintained. The room is good but a bit dated. The views to the Nile are spectacular! We will definitely come back and stay more days! Thank you to all the Hilton Luxor team! They make a difference:)
The pillows were very fluffy and the sleeping experience very comfy. The personnel exceptionally polite and helpful. Half-board worth every penny we paid. Good location. Near to Luxor Temple, bus station and train station. Breakfast was good. A lot of choices.
Only one thing bad happened, 10 am today the manager of 5th floor asked me very ramdon wich number of room i have after leaving my room walking in the hall, when i comeback from breakfast 1,200 egyptian money are gone, not there. The rest is very good, nice staff, food, swimming pools, rooms, bed, everything
The hotel is beautiful, clean with good facilities and beautiful views from the garden, pool area, boat restaurant, sultan restaurant etc. It is close to many public amenities you'd need as well but the front desk staff are unnecessarily too serious that it was discomforting. There was no need for the robotic reactions. They have weird pool rules as well. I recommend this place still.
The hotel has a really nice location with a beautiful river view, which we truly enjoyed. The breakfast was also very good and satisfying. However, we found that the staff was not very helpful when it came to cleaning up the tables during breakfast, and the room was a bit noisy due to outside traffic, which affected our sleep. At reception, the personnel provided good service and quality assistance...
Great location, but the infrastructure is a little bit old. Internet was not stable at all. Great breakfast. Overall fair
The hotel is just next to the Nile River which we can directly see the view with hot air balloon in the morning from the balcony. We were staying in the hotel on Christmas Day. It was sweet that the hotel prepared a Christmas gift for us. The location of hotel is good that we can walk to the bazar easily.

An affordable way to stay in the same grounds as the Winter Palace and to enjoy the same facilities as guests of that hotel. The Pavillion Winter hotel is a cheaper and more modest property. The rooms are basic and have a bit of wear and tear, but the garden view from the balcony is lovely, so it was a great hotel to have a stopover on the way to Aswan - but there are nicer, modern, hotels in Luxor...
We did not stay in the hotel but enjoyed 3 hours looking round the main building, gardens and having a drink in the Royal Bar. Staff were very professional and had a great knowledge of the history of the building. Well worth a visit, surprisingly the Sakara beer I had in the bar was cheaper than other locations in Luxor. The gardens are extensive and contain numerous plants, shrubs and trees, probably...
Incredibly WOW. Best location ( walkable distance to Luxor Temple) , market place and Nile river opposite to the hotel. Worth the money. Also I had dinner in the Palace and it was mouth watering, mostly had French cuisines and wines.
Of all many hotels we stayed in various towns of Egypt, I remember this one because we had breakfast at tables facing the lovely open garden. On the second morning of our stay (mid December 2024), a wait staff handed me a basil leaf from the garden which smelt so pungent. It made a great start of my day. But then I also encountered a so-so serviceman at breakfast buffet who stood ignorantly watching...
The hotel is in a great location for getting to Luxor Temple and the museums. The pool is also great for relaxing after getting up early to see the sights. The rooms are VERY dated and feels like staying in a 3 star hotel. Could do with some renovations.
Fabulous stay. Best breakfast buffet. Wonderful service all around. Huge rooms. The grounds/gardens are a safe haven from the intensity of Luxor. Right across from the marina and Nile. Perfect starting location for our felucca sunset cruise and Balloon sunrise flight. They'll make a breakfast box for early mornings. Beautiful pool that sadly closes at sunset. The hotel used to be the palace of the Egyptian king. It has a beautiful environment with flamingos and peacocks. The whole hotel is different from the Luxor city. It is like heaven and earth. One is full of horse manure and garbage, and the other is a palace garden. It is full of contrast.

My tour guide booked the hotel for me. It was fine when he was around, the next morning when I asked for breakfast they said your stay doesn't include breakfast, they offered me breakfast after 12 in the afternoon and said sorry for the mistake. The wifi was not working at all. The room was good with a small tv, fridge, ac, and bathroom. The view from the roof is good.
I spent 2 days in Queens valley and it was a good experience. Hotel location is super as the Sphinx Avenue is in front of the nile view rooms, Luxor temple is 10 mins walk from the hotel and different restaurants are nearby. Breakfast was neutral but not bad. The roof view is amazing, but in my last night there were different attendees sitting in the roof rather than the hotel guests which caused noisy...
Good for tourist location And food is ok😏. Descent room but no room service (unless you ask). Daytime receptionist Mr Azar is a very gentle men. Afternoon time receptionist (don’t know his name, bit heavy looking) is a grumpy and always angry. Normally he shouts and treat you like NOT a guest. Just watch out for him if you will stay here.
It is an okay place to stay. It is near to places to eat. There are few Om Hashem's restaurants nearby. Checking in and checking out procedure was fast. Room was big and comfortable. I just wished they prepare some basic toiletries or let the customer choose to have them by paying a little extra. Downside is, I wished I could get more varieties in the breakfast options.
Rooms are very spacious. Food is okay. One of the best customer service experienced in Egypt. Value for money.
Beautiful place. Quiet. Staff are really friendly and helpful. It is small and cozy. There is a small pool with different heights and a separate part for children. The pool is small but convenient. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a panoramic elevator as well.

A perfect 10 out of 10! I was hesitant at first, wondering if the photos would match reality, and I’m glad to say my expectations were fully met. The hotel looks just like in the pictures. It feels as if time has stood still here since the early 20th century: antique interiors, books available for reading, grand high arches, and spacious halls – truly an oasis in the midst of bustling, crowded Egypt...
We had lunch at Almoudira the hotel is amazing very well thought out. The Bazar has unique pieces and the food was an interesting take on Egyptian dishes. But the vibe was off as it felt there was so many staff doing renovations. And the restaurant staff weren’t the friendliest people.
A boutique hotel in the true sense of the word. You will have an unforgettable stay with a pinch on the pocket. The attention to detail in the decor, and regarding the quality of food is brilliant. Their rooms are unique. The only drawback (or not) is the fact that it is a bit far from the city, and takes an effort to get here if you don't have cabs handy.
A Tale of Elegance and Luxury From the moment I stepped through the grand entrance of this magnificent 5-star oasis, I felt transported to a realm straight out of 1001 Nights. The attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel’s design is nothing short of breathtaking. Ornate arches, intricate...
The Hotel is a gem. Fabulous food with ingredients from their own farm. Amazing garden as a true hide away. Architecture like a private estate with lot of history. Nice time in a cosy place. Perfect staff, perfect breakfast, perfect location. Just the condition of the bathroom and swimming pool needs to be fixed! Anyway, well spent money :)
Best location in very economical price to visit whole east side by walk. Rooms are average as on trip u just went there to sleep so they are good enough for peaceful sleep. Location is the best advantage. Staff and manager is very cooperative
Nice hotel to stay with family. This is an old building, close to the Nile and tourist places. The rooms were clean. To get hot water you need to open the tap and wait for more than 10 minutes. Breakfast and room service were good. Good value for the money.
It's perfect considering the price they are charging. The staff are very friendly, one of the best to ever find in a hotel. I haven't tried the restuarant fully, I only tried the breakfast and it's very good, the taste and the portions you get are enough to keep you full until 7PM. The rooms are good, the beds are comfy and you will sleep well. There's no WiFi and the TV services are not enough...
The quality of the place is fair comparing the price! The service is good. The location is better than many other options as it is closer to the Nile, not far from the interesting places but it is quieter than the very centre. People there are very welcoming
