H10 Metropolitan in Barcelona

The hotel location was great, near the metro and v walkable to the shopping district.

Room was big and spacious (think we got the room for the wheel-bounded by chance). However, its cleanliness can be worked on as we found strays of hair on the bathroom wall and also a clump of dust on the hairdryer net.

The bottled water as well as the tap water tasted a bit funny and felt slimy (you know the feeling you get when you have to wash your hands vigorously to get rid of that soapy feeling), but we googled and it’s probably just Barcelona’s water sewage system at it.

The wifi was strong, and the water pressure of the shower was great. Note the hotel does not provide bathroom slippers though.

The hotel boasts a prime location with convenient transportation. Airport buses are directly accessible, and the metro and bus stops are just steps away. To the north, Casa Batlló and Casa Milà are within walking distance, while Plaça Catalunya is to the south. The Gothic Cathedral, the Kissing Wall, the Picasso Museum, Boqueria Market, and the Columbus Monument are all within walking distance. Numerous restaurants are nearby, making dining convenient. The rooms are small but clean, tidy, and comfortable, with a mini-fridge. Chocolate and soda water were provided on the first day. Complimentary bottled water is provided daily. The bathroom is spacious, with bathrobes and slippers provided. The room heating is comfortable. There's a subtle fragrance in the room, which I really appreciated. The rooms and bathrooms are well-lit. Although facing the street, the soundproofing is good. Every morning, I open the balcony door and watch the sunrise from the small balcony, starting my day beautifully. The breakfast is good. The front desk and restaurant staff are warm and polite. The lobby and restaurant have a stylish and unique decor.

A Hidden Gem! Excellent Value & Peace of Mind
My sister and I recently enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at this hotel. We were looking for a relaxing escape, and this place truly delivered! We had a room with views of the city and was incredible.
The staff were professional and quick—check-in was a breeze and any questions we had were answered instantly. The whole hotel feels immaculately maintained.
We were particularly impressed by the sense of order and safety here. The personnel handling entry and exit were always vigilant but very polite, and we felt extremely secure throughout our entire stay. It was a relief knowing we didn't have to worry about anything; the security measures are clearly a high priority for the management.
The location is fantastic, just a short walk from some great restaurants. We didn't want to leave!
If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, and safe place to stay, look no further. We will definitely be back!

The location is superb, very close to the kissing wall. The upstairs bar is the hotel's biggest highlight. The only downside is the extremely poor soundproofing; remember to bring earplugs, otherwise it's unbearable. The hotel staff are incredibly nice and responsible. They provided excellent service even without tips and were quite witty. 🙃 Because the service was so good, I apologized for not having change to tip, and they kindly explained that their service wasn't for tips. One of the staff members looked remarkably like Leonardo DiCaprio.

More than the great location, amenities and price/quality ratio of the H10 Metropolitan it is their top level of service I want to emphasis with a special mention to their Front Desk:
I had asked for an e-commerce company to ship me something directly to the hotel to receive it while I was staying there, they were really late and the parcel arrived after my departure.
The Front Desk team, stored the parcel for weeks and were of great reactivity and help to forward it to my home in France.
So thanks again H10 Metropolitan teams, we will come back again with pleasure.

Pros.
Great location, super nice staff at both reception and breakfast. Rooms are nice and comfortable beds. Lovely touch to have an amenity bag. Breakfast was great! So nice to have the mix of a la carte and euro style buffet. Recommend staying here.

Cons.
We were on level 1 right above the street restaurants so if you are super sensitive to noise maybe ask for a different room. We had no issues with this and the sound proofing is good.
The aircon was a bit hot and didn’t get cool enough.

Good hotel, service is good, nothing wrong there. But it also did not wow me.
Keep in mind Pools are all small, pictures are wide lens. Also 90cm deep max.

Location is top notch close to everything this is the most amazing selling point.

Rooms are spacious, and a good look and style.

Excellent location only 3 mins walk from airport bus station. Hotel excellent service, good amenities and allow us late check out till 2 pm. Lots of food to eat around. Rambler room very sizable with balcony. Will recommend to friend who travel there.

The staff were absolutely fantastic. Special thanks to Adolpho, Alberto and Marti. From start to finish myself and my partner were made to feel like the most special guests in the world. The hotel is pristine, smells fantastic, air-conditioned beautifully. Little touches from the staff and the hotel throughout our stay made this one of the most special stays we have ever had. We will ABSOLUTELY be returning to this hotel.
