The location is very good, and the rooftop bar is worth seeing

The service level is very professional and considerate, whether it is the front desk or the doorman.
I chose a room facing the cathedral, and I was very satisfied with the view.
The toiletries in the room are Bulgari, which are very good. There are also disposable products such as toothbrushes, combs, slippers, etc. that other hotels do not have.
There is no problem of poor sound insulation. After closing the balcony door, the singing next to the church can basically not be heard.

The breakfast was very rich and delicious! The location is also very good, there are many cute little shops around the Gothic Quarter.

The Colon Hotel made our stay in Barcelona truly memorable! The location is absolutely unbeatable – right in the heart of the city, directly opposite the stunning Barcelona Cathedral. This central spot puts you just steps away from major attractions, charming restaurants, and vibrant cafes.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, though slightly noisy, which is to be expected given the prime location. However, the incredible view and the convenience of being in the middle of everything more than made up for it. If you want to be at the center of the action, this is the perfect choice!

What truly stood out was the exceptional service: the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The highlight of our stay was when the hotel went above and beyond by arranging a complimentary ride to the nearby NH Collection. This thoughtful gesture exemplifies the level of care and attention they provide to their guests.

Overall, the Colon Hotel offers a unique combination of central location, excellent service, and warm hospitality. We would gladly return and highly recommend it!

I found this hotel on Instagram and loved the view that I saw of their rooftop terrace. I knew when I traveled to Barcelona, I had to experience it first hand. It. Was. Amazing! There wasn’t a long wait for a table. We waited downstairs for about 5 minutes. Everything we ordered tasted delicious. Very fresh. I highly recommend visiting- even if it’s to enjoy a glass of sangria while having front row seats to the Cathedral of Barcelona.

It was a pity that there was no heating in the room. Other than that, everything else was satisfactory.

Stayed twice at the beginning and end of a cruise. What a fabulous location. You are right in the heart of the city and have great access to the main sights. The hotel rooms are bright and spacious with fabulous wet rooms. The staff were always helpful and welcoming. They helped mark an anniversary and did everything to give us a really good cathedral view for our return stay. The breakfast is excellent. A very wide ranging choice with perfect fresh fruit, the best we'd experienced in along time. The rooftop bar has fantastic views to the cathedral and is very reasonably priced for food and drink. If you want a quiet stay ask for a rear facing room as the square is always lively although this really adds to the vibrant atmosphere..

This was our first stop in Spain and it definitely did not disappoint. The hotel staff are so lovely! Every person we dealt with was very helpful and kind. They really tried to accommodate to everything we requested. From the moment of check in it was fabulous.
The roof top bar overlooking the cathedral is beautiful. Amazing views with delicious drinks and food.
They also had someone playing the piano and wine tasting while we were there, it was beautiful.
The location was also fantastic close enough to walk everywhere but not crazy busy as soon as you walk out the door.
