They were so kind to my two daughters. They would bring them things to play with in the lobby and would bring my toddler treats at night. The rooms were phenomenal, and you are centrally located.
If you are looking for a place to stay in Barcelona I can't recommend this location enough. You won't regret it. :)
Used an upgrade cert for one night and then they upgraded my second night for free to a family suite. Pull out bed was nice (it's 2 separate twin beds). They had chocolate and lots of free water each night, even for the kids beds.
Even provided a couple diapers when I ran out until I could get to the store.
Very dirty, shabby and mismanaged. All surfaces - floors, tables, sofas, silverware, corner - all stained, chipped or dirty.
Rooms have low quality cheap looking furniture and fittings. Noise from the underground at night.
Nice location on Rambla, but poor taxi access - cab drivers refuse to drive up to the hotel entrance and drop off passengers and luggage 50m away on Rambla. FreeNow don’t come to the entrance either. Hotel staff doesn’t know how to order a cab and suggest hailing it from the street old fashioned way.
A Glovo courier station right at the door step of the hotel. Lots of suspiciously looking beggars and addicts passing by.
