Ohla Barcelona

I did not stay at this hotel. My husband and I went to the rooftop bar only. What a beautiful view of Barcelona! The cocktails were good, but definitely on the pricer side because of the location. Overall, it's a nice place for drinks.

The staff was very professional, they work as a team and pay great attention to details. Very personalized approach and very clean. Great selection of restaurants within the hotel. Overall, we loved our stay and would 100% recommend the hotel.

Best location in the city, close to everything.
Excellent, friendly and attentive staff.
The suite was spacious and modern.
Unfortunately the balconies were locked.
Breakfast was ok, but not great. Especially not for a guide Michelin chef.

Can’t say enough about this hotel. Upon arrival everyone was so friendly and eager to assist. Special thanks to Quique and his amazing staff! The bar/restaurant served a beautiful breakfast and afternoon cocktails were spectacular. The rooftop bar provided the perfect backdrop to relax after a long day and the spa facilities were first rate.

I was stunned upon entering the Hotel. Wife had booked it and didn’t realize it was a 5 Star establishment as we have been just traveling through Europe. We were greeted promptly by Zak! An amazing person that was so friendly and took care of us so well! He got us a couple of glasses of champagne and chocolates. Helped with our luggage to our room and showed is a few things. They even upgraded our room to an art style. The shower was sooo cool! The hospitality was amazing. The rooftop bar and pool were sweet! WE DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE! We saw Zak again the next day and he was just so wonderful to talk with. I hope the Hotel sees this review and gives Zak the highest praise! He is an amazing member of the team that should absolutely be recognized!

We stayed at the Ohla Barcelona for 6 nights in May and absolutely loved everything about our stay. We were greeted and had our bags taken by the porter due to arriving early. All the service staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. When we returned, our luggage was waiting for us in our room.

The room was nicely appointed, and we opted to have a suite with a view of the city. I was leery of the noise due to the location on a busy street, but the hotel was pleasantly quiet. As a bonus, they provided us with 2 bottled waters when our rooms were refreshed daily.

One of the best features of the hotel is the rooftop! There was always a line outside of the hotel to access the rooftop bar, but as a guest, we never had to wait. The views were amazing and the drinks were top notch.

The daily breakfast was varied and ample. The location was convenient to many restaurants, landmarks, stores, etc.

The only “con” I would have to share is the we had to navigate up 2 steps and down 2 steps to get to the toilet (which could be tricky in the middle of the night).

We absolutely would stay at this hotel again.

I was there during sunset and wow! The view was perfect. The stuff was so welcoming and helpful. Had the best cocktails!🤩

We spent 2 nights at OHLA. We had little problems there and we really appreciated the way it was handled by the management.
We booked the family suite with a junior suite connecting to a design room. It was very large. It’s very centrally located. Overall the staff was nice, especially the receptionists and the bell boys, in particular one guy speaking French that the kids really liked (I didn’t note his name). The rooftop is very nice just know there are no umbrellas so it can get very hot in the summer. Our kids really appreciated this hotel. I think if you are a family of 5 as us, it’s the largest rooms you can find. I checked many hotels with a pool and the rooms were smaller and less comfortable.

Great hotel in a perfect area of Barcelona that is walking distance to so much. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooftop is amazing! We will stay at Ohla any time we visit Barcelona.

It was a beautiful room. The staff was amazing.
They were helpful in many ways. The front desk staff Greeted us with champagne and chocolates Zak Was always eager to help us and always had a smile and a kind word. On our departure we were also giving a box of chocolates, so sweet!! We would love to come Again!!
