Motel One Barcelona-Ciutadella

Very good location, nice rooms, nice bar close to the lobby with good gin selection and fun "swing chairs".
The rooftop bar was also excellent, well worth a visit.
Rented a nice room with a veranda, spacious and cozy. Not crazy expensive.

Park-facing view was great. A bit small room, but fairly clean as a standard Motel One. Rooftop terrace was fantastic. Location was nice, easy (bus) access to old town and city center. Could potentially hear the noise from adjacent rooms in the middle of the night.

Motel One is fantastic! Everything about this hotel is amazing—from the stylish decor to the friendly staff and excellent service to cleanliness. The only minor downside is that the rooms are a bit small. However, the overall experience more than makes up for it. Highly recommended! As the location is perfect almost in the middle of everything.

Motel One was clean, the staff was friendly, and facilities seem pretty new/modern. The stay was great and it was easy to sleep because it was quiet. The bar has great drinks and checkout was a breeze (just drop off the key. Super simple). Rooms were on the small size but comfortable and great for one person. Thanks for the nice stay!

The hotel was great! It was in a perfect location for getting around and seeing the city. The staff were very friendly. Our favorite part was the roof top bar. We went up there everyday. The only negative was the tv in the room. It kept turning off when we tried to watch tv at night before bed. It would play for 15 minutes and then go back to the main screen. In the grand scheme of things this was a very small inconvenience as we were barely in the room. The only reason we noticed because we have the tv on to sleep to.

Beautiful hotel in a great location by Ciutadella Park. Great location that puts you in between the beach and Gothic quarter if you don't mind walking a little. Room was not that big but very clean. I have never stayed in a place with a more sophisticated bathroom! Modern furniture, very elegant lobby area, and comfortable bed.

Our stay at Motel One was great! We arrived about 4 hours before our check in time and the staff hotel allowed us to set up our check in and change before taking our bags. We felt our bags were very safe - they were tagged and put into a locked room behind the check in desk immediately. Everything was there and easy for us to get back when we returned at 3! Our room was in a bit of a weird area on the floor… us and one other room were behind a door at the end of the hallway. The rooms were clean, but fairly small. The bathroom was large but the shower didn’t have any sort of door or curtain. Just one half of a glass panel that, for the most part, did the job of keeping the water in. The location was prime for us - a beautiful park across the street, the arc right next door, and great bus and metro access that got us everywhere we needed. There was plenty to discover and enjoy in walking distance as well. All for a decent price!! We would recommend.
