Sixties Ramblas

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The walls are paper thin; I couldn’t get any sleep because the elevator noise was incessant and you could hear everything. The furniture feels very old and the beds are extremely uncomfortable.

For the money spent, it’s better to stay at a hotel where they actually have a front desk to assist you. Here, there was no one available. We needed help upon checking out, and it took forever to get a response for a simple yes or no question.

Additionally, if you’re a tourist, avoid the Gothic Quarter/Las Ramblas area. It’s dirty, there are flies everywhere, it’s loud, and it’s essentially a tourist trap.

As other reviews mentioned, the walls are extremely thin. The unit across the hall checked out and the person cleaning the unit chose to do so with the door to their unit wide open, hearing several bangs and loud noises while jet lagged. Additionally, I was charged the wrong amount and "customer service" refuses to acknowledge the email I sent them day of booking inquiring about the incorrect fee, leading me to have to dispute with my bank. I booked a prepay fee (with screenshots to prove this) and they charged me for the more expensive free cancellation fee. Good location, everything else is subpar to horrible. Steer clear. I had a great experience with Eric Vokel suites in Madrid and would recommend booking with them if you are looking for similar style accommodations in Barcelona.
