The hotel is modern. The rooms are fresh and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Some people might be concerned about the location near the San Francisco neighborhood, which doesn't have the best reputation among Bilbao's residents. I traveled alone, without a car, and walked through those streets every day, and I felt safe. You just need to be cautious and avoid wandering the area at night looking for trouble. It's very easy to get to the city center and its main attractions, such as the Guggenheim Museum, from the hotel. I recommend walking toward the museum, even if you're heading to the old town, and nothing will surprise you. I recommend the hotel. Very good standard for this price.

Hotel in great location beside a train station which is wheelchair accessible from hotel (1 stop to centre if you don’t fancy walking), perfectly clean and lovely handwritten note & sweets in room on arrival. We enjoyed our short 48hrs in Santander and plan to return in the future and we will definitely consider staying at this hotel again. All staff we interacted with were great 😊 👍

Location near to train Station of Abando, but challenging because it's quite a hike.
Breakfast really delicious, i like the potato omelets.
Room is quite decorated. The room service did the job, but sadly did not mop the floor because I still feel the sand on the floor after I've gone to the beach.
It says Smart TV but I could not connect it to my phone.
Overall a great value.

I stayed at Bed4U Bilbao for three nights this week. I had an excellent, spacious and clean room. The self-service breakfast was very varied and of a very good quality. I enjoyed it every morning. The hotel staff is very friendly and extremely helpful.
It is a pity that the neighbourhood is not very lively with a lot of permanently closed shops and businesses. Though I enjoyed the view of the playground and spacious sitting area from my room . Another great advantage is that all sights are within walking distance from the hotel.

The hotel is not bad at all. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the location is good. Service to guests needs improving!
One is NOT allowed to buy food from the restaurant downstairs to eat in the room, because … wait for it: they don’t have special cleaners to clean the rooms in case the plates break. Paper plates or take-away containers perhaps, Hotel Bed4U? Problem-solving much?
My boyfriend has worked in 55 countries around the world … this was a ‘FIRST’ for him! He even asked at their restaurant if we could have the food upstairs in the room and they said ‘yes’, and the have him a tray to carry it to the room. But, the moment he entered the lift, the Receptionist pulled him out of the lift and said he must have the food downstairs… without even offering a cover for the plates of food he had to leave behind. Needless to say, he left the food downstairs and we went to bed hungry.
He went downstairs to order and buy food the restaurant as I was sick in bed!
Do better please Hotel Bed4U.

Very good experience ! It was easy to keep our bikes in a safe place, which is not always the case.
To go to the hotel, you have to go up in the city during approx 20 min, but without difficulty.

All you need and nothing more… rooms are tiny, have no minibar. Tv works, except for CNN. The location is ok. About 15 minutes walk to the center, but 25

But they forget to tell you it’s paid and no more the a couple of hours. We ended up paying 50€ for two days parking. Staff “forgot” to tell us it was the biggest festive week of the year… no suggestions where to go… prior reviews were clear: “all you need in a hotel room”. But definitely not all you expect.

Good for the price, nice staff but a few points to improve. The first being the buffet at the breakfast that is way too oily, the room doesn’t make you feel cozy since the decoration is very plane.

Don’t get deterred by the outside look of the hotel, it’s a gem on the inside. If you travel by bike, they will take care of them. The room is well thought out, we liked the open bathroom and the separated toilet. The breakfast is good, you will find everything you need. The place round the hotel has a local vibe to it.

Kudos to the designers of this space! It had everything I needed and nothing more, meaning: safe, clean, attractive, but nothing fancy. I don’t need fancy, so I’m happy to pay less for just what I need. Also great service, nice open reception area, with bar, breakfast buffet, tables and chairs, almost like a little community center. A nice place to hang out for a minute, between adventures!
