An excellent 2 nights away. Exceptional service from all the staff. As a chef myself, the breakfast offerings were as good as anywhere in Spain that I have been. One suggestion if I may. It would be useful if a hook or rail was near to the shower so a towel could be put for easy access when finishing in the shower. However a small issue which did not spoil our visit. We WILL be back!!

The hotel is absolutely stunning, I am so glad we upgraded to The level. The staff are so welcoming, always willing to help you find ways for you to enjoy your vacation. It is like staying in an Italian village, lots of choice for restaurants in you want more than half board to choose from.

Lovely facilities but let down by the service Worth paying extra for the Level for nicer room, quieter breakfast & lounge service but if with kids they will want to go to the Melia Villataina pools anyway which are fun for kids with slides etc Room smelled of smoke on arrival. Fabulous resort, just doesn’t have the 5 star experience at the Level, understaffed (basically fend for yourself) at level pool areas. No food @ pool, no pool bar table service and it’s quite a track. Breakfast buffet with birds crawling over it, just not what you’d expect for the money. Coffee options poor. Take my advice just stay in the Vilitana 4 star side of the hotel and save yourself money...

What can I say!it was everything and more than I expected, the brochures really don't do the resort justice. I have just asked for room service. I requested 1 coffee with milk and reception called to say it would be 15 Euro’s. I appreciated the call and cancelled my coffee. My daughter took me to this hotel for a few days for my birthday last week. It deserves its 5 stars. The hotel, the rooms. the spa, the gardens and pools, breakfasts and the staff were brilliant. The staff are amazing and really helpful, the location is great for the old town and the new town. The facilities are of a very high standard, with great views from the rooms, very child friendly with lots to do for the children and a children's nursery for up to 11s in the evening. Went first week December. I was a bit concerned as my wife has coeliac disease and previous guests suggested gluten free food was non existent.
