Amazing for children. The hotel and rooms are very clean. The pool areas are clean. Can not fault anything. The bar, restaurant and reception staff are very friendly. Have 6 or more lifts. Will def come back.

The facilities are of a very high standard, with great views from the rooms, very child friendly with lots to do for the children and a children's nursery for up to 11s in the evening

Just spent a week here and loved it. We were silver level all inclusive and the quality of the drinks and food was excellent. The staff were very efficient and friendly and the hotel was always clean and tidy

We stayed for a week and it flew by the weather was a bit hit and miss but in Benidorm you have a great time whatever the weather. So the Princesa is a thumbs up for me and the wife and we will come back again 👍

This is a perfect hotel 10/10 super clean great food and choice staff excellent. Highly recommend beaches are super clean. The old town is great for a traditional Spanish holiday

Couldn't rate it high enough! Firstly pools are fab. Rooms are clean and so comfortable. Staff are friendly so attentive. Travelled with a three year old too play area kiddie shoe every night for half hour

Just came back from this hotel, and after reading some of the reviews, I was a bit hesitant on the holiday. But it's really good for a 3 star. Cleaned every day with fresh towels

Always seemed plenty of room round the pool and plenty of sunbeds

Food wasn't as bad as some of the reviews depending on what you like. The fresh fruit available was nice. The chef did his best to keep the food fresh, and if asked, he would accommodate where he could

My wife accidentally left her air pods in the room but only realized a couple of days later. The staff were really helpful and despite our fears they managed to locate them after a few days

The only fault I had were the lifts, very slow and sometimes I felt like Zebedee going up and down to different floors before reaching my floor on 11. All in all would definitely go back

Now to the restaurant which we found very cramped with the tables far to close, the food was nothing special but edible, but found breakfast a lot better with tasty back bacon on offer, the drinks are amazing value with 1ltr of sangria costing €6 and a pint of Estrella €1

6, and wine at around €6-10 a bottle, there is no service at the tables so you are expected to get you own! Entertainment in the hotel seems to be shared by the other hotels and bars this company owns so you get excellent tribute acts at the hotels Explorers bar

On to the balcony now, which was on the opposite side of road to John and Josephs, and not that far from the road, so knowing Beni didn't expect a quiet night, but for a people watching balcony you won't get better

I then realised I hadn't taken the option of the safe box, back down to reception sorted straight away, it's €4 per night or €20 per week, the safes are activated by your room key

Over all we had a very enjoyable 3 night break and didn't mind the noise from the strip outside, just a tip if you want a quieter night, ask for a room away from the road, although the back of the hotel ( non pool facing) isn't as nice

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is what you expect from buffet style, however, plenty of choice and eat what you will. Have stayed in the Ambassador 4 times now and have enjoyed myself each time

Can’t comment on the swimming pool as it was too cold and didn’t bother with it. Can’t comment on the entertainment, as I’m younger and didn’t really attend any

We wanted to go to an authentic tapas bar and he recommended a great place to go where he usually eats himself. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again if we go back to benidorm

My new second home :) had the best 5 days on holiday here. Was on a solo holiday and had the time of my life

Had a great time the hotel was lovely and clean. Had a huge choice of good food. Our beds were made every day had fresh towels. Only draw back was the huge queues at the bar only had one member of staff serving

Rooms are spotless, the food is a hit and a miss, had some nice lunch but I’m a fussy eater, so wasn’t a fan any other time. The drinks were so strong & was never thirsty lol

The location was excellent! The food was more than excellent! Plenty to choose from well cooked and lots of flavour. Beds and pillows very comfortable

Hotel is 10 minutes walk to the main strip. I think the location is excellent. Between old town and new town

I am just starting 2 months of treatment on leg now that I am home in UK, following an attack in waist high water by some type of piranha according to the reports, off Benidorm's main beach

I only had breakfast, and there was plenty of choice, but the bacon, sausages, beans etc were cold, not even lukewarm. Other than that the location is excellent. The pool looks nice, although I didn't venture into it

The room rate is very affordable and would suit a traveler on a budget. This hotel has a swimming pool

Hope the hotel isn't clinical with no character once it has been fully refurb as this has a good lounge bar area, 'pop in bar ' that shows sports really nice atmosphere and hopefully they don't out price the customers that have been coming to this hotel for the past 20 -30 years

We had the most fabulous break here. Miguel on reception was so helpful. Jose so welcoming in the restaurant. can't fault the hotel for the price we paId. we will definitely be back 💖 highly recommend this hotel

Myself and my Wife Janet enjoyed our stay. We stayed full board our room was on the eleventh floor. Room was good, as was the entertainment and food. Staff are very helpful and friendly making our holiday very enjoyable.

so maybe carpets would be better or locks on the wheels 🤣😂 also lovely to have tea coffee and biscuits in the room. entertainment at night what's not to like 👍👍🥰🥰

we stayed in January weather warm in the day but chilly at night so wrap up The only downside are the beds as they move

There is one massive pool, and there smaller ones, including one that simulates a small beach. Pools are pretty nice and really the highlight of the hotel. There’s a well equipped gym that’s free of charge

In August, it was pretty crowded, and difficult to get a sun bed, as people just leave their towels since early in the morning (and there’s no one to enforce the policy of not doing that)

Stunning hotel and great location! You wouldn't know you were anywhere near Benidorm! We did have to change rooms, but that was only because we didn't have much of a view in our first room- the views are Stunning! Reception was brilliant and gave us a choice of rooms and allowed us to view them first before we made a decision! Highly recommended!

Breakfast were amazing in selection and quality. There were some surprises for children's around Xmas day (Santa gave children a little parcel) a nice touch. The hotel overall was quiet no many customers which I liked

The lock in my room broke just 2days before departure, I was moved to an upgraded room which I did not appreciate but I did not want to keep packing/unpacking for 2 days. The views in a previous room were better

The location of the hotel is fantastic nearby shops, beach and market, the hotel itself is clean (apart from toilets in public areas there’s a constant smell), pool area is a fabulous size and we never struggled for a sunbed, good range of cocktails and drinks to be had

My only gripe regarding the pool area would be more parasols that are firmly fixed in its base people need them especially in hot weather with little ones, I would have estimated no more than twenty for a very large area

The pool area was good with plenty of beds despite people queuing then stampeding at stupid o'clock for the best spots. We would watch them every morning from our balcony at how stupid they all looked

The room was clean and spacious , we were round the back of the hotel I requested a low floor and we were on the 6th floor which I was happy with having a young son , there were building works going on for the hospital extension which you wouldn’t know was going off The noise was non existent in my opinion I will be going back for definite The pool was massive and it was crowded at times but we went...

Excellent hotel. Modern clean rooms and great food in the restaurant. Bar area is good, smallish pool for size of hotel but nice all the same.

We recently stayed here in a penthouse suite, The room was amazing with an extra large calfornia king bed, freestanding bath near the large fully opening sliding glass doors with incredible views please see photos

The main pool itself doesn't get any sun to midday because of building shadow , but this is not a problem as there is a pool on the roof. The infinity Rooftop pool is a fantastic area to relax and take in the views

Small issues were no rubbish bin in the room and the water pressure sometimes unstable if you turned on the taps slowly they would fire water everywhere, quite funny unless you're dressed for the evening 😂 overall experience of the hotel was excellent

It's a great location and in a quiet area. The hotel is really clean with a good pool. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food at the bar was good overall. Pizzas weren't great but not a big issue

You can easily be there within 10/15 min! The hotel has two nice pools (one for adults and one for children) and one indoor pool which I think it was closed as the weather was gorgeous so no need to stay indoors! The hotel serves food throughout the day (if you opt for the all inclusive package) and the lunch and dinner menu would vary

My kids loved her! Keep up the great work! Regarding the cleaning, this hotel is very neat and clean! I’m the worst when comes to this matter but wow, we could see all the common areas being cleaned on a regular basis, including the pool being properly cleaned in the early hours

The whole hotel was clean and tidy, the cleaning staff made the beds and changed the towels everyday (if needed) and the staff were seen cleaning throughout the day

The rooms were also tidied up everyday and the sheets and bath towels changed

There was also food available throughout the day with the snack bar (in the dining room) available outside meal times. The waitresses were brilliant with the children and kitchen staff were always refilling the food

There was also entertainment throughout the day however we never did any of these. The food was better than we had expected based on reviews and there was a theme (Mexican, Chinese, USA etc) every dinnertime

Excellent hotel. Head waiter is brilliant with everyone in the restaurant. We have known him for a long time top man. I would tell anyone who was going to book this hotel they should have a excellent holiday here.

The swimming pool is very nice and there is enough sunbeds for the guests, if a little crowded. All in all, a friendly hotel and would recommend for a short stay perhaps

Friendly staff, always helpful in seating us in the restaurant. Very efficient in the reception with checking in & out. Requested rooms close to our parents as we were travelling together

Yeah it's a great place, perfectly located for all the attractions and entertainment. The food is very good and there is a good variety of dishes to choose from

Breakfast is served from 8am till 10pm which is a bit early for me (11am would have been better). The jet2 rep lita was also very good

People would be allowed to leave towels on sunbeds all day without actually using the sunbeds when signs clearly state you can only leave towels on for an hour. But other than that, its a fantastic place!

This was our first family holiday and honestly we can’t have 1 single complaint, from the rooms, food entertainment and especially the staff, just amazing with the kids, we didn’t want to leave, we will certainly be rebooking up to stay again at this hotel! 5stars all round! Just had a week in this hotel from the 16/10/2017 till the 23/10/2017 beautiful rooms and lovely view of the sea me and my daughter Paula and granddaughter Alisha enjoyed it so much it was my first time but their second time

Awesome rooms nice stuff but we had a slight problem: In the middle of the night (around 00:00)the fire alarm went off without a reason but the rest is awesome.Its a nice addition of having 2 free tickets!

I was also pleased with the chairs on the balcony: not like in many other hotels - wicker or plastic, like in street cafes, and always dusty - here they are comfortable, like armchairs (the seat and back are curved for comfort) and they are wiped when cleaning the room

When booking through the hotel website, they give bonuses, for example, free use of the safe, free transfer from/to Alicante airport (both ways), a free glass of something in the bar (of your choice), free 2 bottles of water in the refrigerator

We have just come back from the don Pancho this week I would recommend it anyone it was first class there was nothing u could fault I will come back anytime food beds staff rooms were first class hope to see u again it should be 5 star

A very good hotel, a solid “four”. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are in good condition (plumbing, bedding, and furniture). The size and layout of the rooms are typical of Spanish resort hotels

A lot of people had booked the anniversary show at Benidorm Palace so had to miss the Gala dinner. Other Gala dinners we've had in Spain have been at around 2pm which we think is far better

The tables were beautifully decorated and there were gifts for ladies and gents at the end - a lovely touch. We've read many reviews on this hotel saying it's the best in Benidorm

There are two pool areas and they are absolutely fine. The stuff was not really friendly especially at the main reception

came hear for a week all 11 of us the place is fantastic. The zoo we loved and went about 5 times. The pools were fab very cold but once your in your fine and im a baby with cold water

The lodges were really clean but only downside was the walls were mega thin and the people next door was having a massive argument and then the next night they had hangover and heard them being sick and really upset my daughter but the next lot were really quite

All the staff were lovely and polite,they were all constantly cleaning even washed down the floors outside, the food was lovely and a massive selection of food

Cleaning the room was just superficial which is not okay if you stay a whole week and 2 days they forgot our room completely. But the women who were cleaning the rooms were super super friendly and polite

The wifi you have to renew every four hours which is a bit annoying and quite often it is not working properly (it is annoying when you need to work a little). The app was not working properly as well

Great Hotel in the right location near the beach. Reviews don't do this place justice. Great for families, loads of entertainment and good pools with slides. Food is good always fresh and plenty of choice

We only really used the slides, pool and arcades so can't comment on the restaurant, bar or entertainment as we went out each evening but it seemed to be popular with the other guests

Been once but the whole family absolutely enjoyed every minute. Family hotel with loads todo games room swimming pool water slides. Great food we never had to eat out once

Hotel location was ok but Benidorm not. Wouldn't recommend Benidorm for families with children. We never had any problems with sunbeds. Rooms were bit tight for family of 4

Entertainment team were really good and always getting people involved. Great atmosphere and all round Great place to stay. Only down side was slow lifts throughout the hotel but if you like walking not an issue

There is also a large full length mirror next to the double wardrobe. In the room there was 8 big windows that slide open fully letting in lots of fresh air. My bedding and towels were changed regularly

The swimming pool is a real asset to the hotel. It is modern and clean as are the sun beds. I spent every afternoon there and it was so relaxing

pool was nice area, all day sun, not keen on music drum & bass played on occasions, ( music's a personal choice like food ), 25 min stroll into town, a 10 min walk on hotel rear, there are the odd sml cafe/ bars and shop to be found ( spanish residential area ) safe & clean, nice folks / family's, we enjoyed the hotel & mountain views, review as stated, on price paid, we would visit again !

Just had 10 days here, and judging on price not stars, it is kept spotlessly clean on a regular day to day basis, no balcony but one knows by the visuals of hotel, aircon worked, room cleaned daily, v/ clean beds & towels, shower room real nice and clean, hot water perfect any time !

Decent functional hotel, good buffet breakfast. Good swimming pool (pity about the poolside music though). On the outer edge of town, so a 25 minutes walk to the beach, or use a cheap taxi

I booked throught Booking and the cancelation was not available. After contacting the Hotel, they allowed me to be 100% refund ( i had some medical issues). The process was fast and friendly, i really appreciate it!

Nice hotel in a good location, 5 minute walk to the beach. Food was nice, standard buffet type deal but everything fresh and hot. Entertainment is very good, especially for children

Here you have a choice of several pools. The one on the roof which is for adults only offers stunning views of Benidorm and the surrounding areas. On the ground floor there is a large outside pool with bar facilities

Lovely hotel, rooms were large and clean, beds were comfortable with nice pillows and bedding, terrace was large, lovely bathroom with hot walk in shower, beautiful pool area spotlessly clean, nice children's play area and shallow pool, inside heated pool, food was well cooked and good quality, staff were all pleasant

Always sun beds, the hotel doesn't open the pool doors until 10 which prevents people reserving which is great! Staff mainly all friendly minus a few bar staff which I feel shouldn't be working in a hotel if they don't want to deal with people

The hotel offers a wide range of facilities to use, the main one being the pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'm sure we'll be coming here again

We have literally just checked out (myself, my wife and my 5 year old daughter) and are already gutted! We have had the most amazing 8 days

Ava’s, (our daughter) favourite meal was was the excitingly cooked In front of you prawns, sizzled on the plancha and sprinkled with salt, with pasta and chips of course! My favourite meal was pork kebabs, I’m a complete carnivore so had a huge plateful! A few honourable mentions - talipia fish, pork fillets, duck breast, roast lamb

Lovely clean compact single room, very helpful staff and lovely food. Very quiet at the pool and in the evenings. Very small balcony and not a good view but to be fair I didn’t book a room with a good view

music quiz, general knowledge quiz, sports quiz, bingo, it could begin early and then the music to follow. Just a big thank you to every member of staff within the hotel that makes it such a pleasure for us to stay there

Everything perfect except a 4 star hotel had NO Butter after the very first day, no excuses should not have happened. If shops were open I would have gone out and bought some. Excellent Christmas organisation spot on.

Fantastic hotel, clean rooms, great breakfast and friendly staff. Very Spanish feel which is unusual for Benidorm. Have stayed in a few hotels in Benidorm before but none are as good as the Diplomatic.

Always a good experience at the Diplomatic. Reception helped us solve a problem. Bar & restaurant staff always happy & helpful. Mattress is a little too hard for me.
