Beautiful and comfortable, fresh mountain air. Estrella del Norte sits in the shadow of the vulcan El Teide, which is also the highest mountain in spain. Amazing ocean view from all rooms on the side facing the ocean as well as from the elegant common terrace. Be sure to request an ocean view room if you want to enjoy this feature. Everything was very good . Check -in and check-out was very easy . They housekeepimg was very good . But I would like to suggest that they should change the pillows and blanket . Even though it was clean but they look like it has been used for too long time and there are some permanent stains on the covers . And pillows became so hard .

Overall, it is a great place to stay if you want to be closer to real Tenerife.. A car is essential as walking to amenities is rather difficult due to how steep the area is. The appartment was spacious and suited our visit. It was plenty of space for three people, staff was very nice and helpful. It had almost all necessary kitchen accessories (except cutting board) very nice view trough the balcony. The only minus was that there was no heating and the room felt cold inthe mornings and evenings.

We had a beautiful room with 4 beds, as requested. It included a deck with an amazing view down to the ocean. We were pleased to find the adjacent restaurant open for dinner.

This 300 year old building breathes charisma and cozyness, we loved having our great breakfast in the courtyard surrounded by trees and ferns. The personal was super friendly and made us feel at home. Do note that due to the age of the building the sound insulation of the rooms is not great. Nonetheless a recommendation for anyone looking for a more authentic experience!

Great hotel, with a very pleasant cafeteria. Located in an ancestral home which has been astonishingly well renovated. Staff members go out of their way to make you feel at home and answering the queries you may have. Rooms have been very tastefully decorated, and breakfast is first class. Will repeat!!

Location and view are the best. It is higher up around a 10 min drive from the city center but very quiet and a rustic but authentic and very nice old restored building. This is a beautifully restored finca overlooking the Atlantic and with views of the Teide. The staff were all so friendly. Our room was large and cosy and we couldn't have felt more at home when we came back from long days exploring the wonderful surroundings.

We had a great week in the hotel. The staff, in particular Phillip, was incredibly helpful and friendly. We got really good guidance on the local activities and nightlife. Although in the hotter months I can imagine an AC would be needed this was not an issue for us. The only issue was that we had no WiFi in our room on the block across from the reception.

On overall this is a great value/ cost hotel. For 60€ we got a one night in a room with a view to the mountains, and two buffet breakfasts. The hotel has a great outdoor space with an amazing swimming pool. Additionally, you can get your bus ticket from the hotel to Puerto de la cruz refunded so the distance is not really an issue! The room was nice, spacious, with kitchen, balcony and a shower. Breakfast was nice too, enough dishes to pick from. Dinner was pretty good aswell. This is a really nice resort, with a nice lobby and amenities. It's also right by the ocean, and the dining room has a great view overlooking it as well. The breakfast was really top notch and delicious, with a lot of fresh fruits and food varieties. Sadly, the location is a bit inaccessible and not that close to either of the airports on the island.

The environment is great, very close to the beach and Loro Park, the facilities in the hotel are very complete, the garden is very beautiful, and the staff are very friendly.

We booked a suite with balcony and it was extremely spacious. The bathroom could have been slightly cleaner but the bedsheets were crisp. We went all inclusive and there was a large range of food available, something for everyone.

It's a huge hotel in relatively good location, it's older hotel but generally well maintained and clean. There is a swimming pool and a small pool for kids. The food for breakfast, but also lunch or dinner is quite low quality, mostly from frozen things and it doesn't have much flavor, tastes cheap and bland. So the hotel has its faults, which the management is partially seeing to, but, in my experience, it is far from being a 4* hotel. The entertainment starts far too late. The meal service options are somewhat limited, and most restaurant staff lack any positive spirit. In most cases, I've half finished my main without any drink provision, and they never follow up with another drink if you've finished...

Hotel is located in a great location about a third of the way up a hill. Feels like you walk up the hill un both directions though...Staff are great very helpful and multi lingual. Great and lovely time at the hotel. Staff were exceptional kind and helpful most especially Veronica. She was superb with her yoga class and she always had a smile on every time. Food was great and really enjoyed the location of this hotel. There could be a few small improvements such as: the entertainment was ok but could put a disco on afterwards to just end the nights better. Needs to be rated a 3 star. Firstly. We got to the airport our transfer was sat there waiting for us and we were happy, the bus driver then came up to us and said 'full bus' and then drove off and never told us when the next transfer was arriving. So that put us back 2 hours. Fuming!! Secondly, hotel - the rooms were very outdated and shower was useless! We went to have food and we had to pay...

This hotel was lovely and clean. We found it to be a great location. View of the sea was amazing. The only minor downsides were the lack of plug holes and no tea making facilities in the room. Also building work was noisy but managed to ignore that.

Similar experience to most, rooms need a refit. The water pressure in the shower was none existent. The cold food was always excellent but the hot was absolutely awful. Cleaners came every day and are fantastic. The location and the resort were both excellent. We will return to Puerto De La Cruz but not to this hotel.

Great Location for the Beach (Playa Jardin), and close to the town center. Parking can be a bit tricky, if you have a rental car. Food was pretty good, same for the room. It's a little tired, but the staff are excellent. I've stayed here twice and would again.

Lovely hotel and staff. I didn't like the mattress, it makes a hole in the middle when you sleep and in my opinion the bathroom cleaning is not made properly when they come to refresh the room. Apart of that, very nice!

Nice hotel, friendly staff, rooms cleaned everyday, cant fault it. Food is very nice, staff very helpfull, nice pool, i would recomend this hotel, beds are comfortable, we had a fantastic view from our room. Bus outside half past the hour takes you to centre, lovely holiday.

I was nicely surprised that the two-star hotel offers better comfort, food and service than many four-star ones. Rooms we very clean and variety of meals was very good. The only problem could be that the hotel is 1,5 kms from the coast and you have to go up the hill when you return from the beach or the city centre. Anyway, there is a bus stop nearby if somebody is not a good walker !

The rooms are ok, clean and have everything, that is needed. The service is not speaking English, but they are trying at least. The worst thing is food, which is sometimes hard to eat and repeatedly. Localisation is very good and it's the best about this hotel.

Best quality of this hotel is the location. Close to the beach, close to downtown and even close to bus terminal or supermarket. The personal is nice and friendly, but trying to speak English is not their strong suite. You can usually get by better with German or French sometimes. I knew the hotel since a number of years. The new management start a renovation campain last year. Rooms getting better. The toproof bar with a fantastic view is now completly new as SkyBar Lounge. Enjoy the sundowner with a cocktail.

Been here a few times now it's one of the best hotels in Puerto. Friendly staff and location is perfect for town and the beaches.

Very nice and quaint hotel, priced very reasonably. The rooms were clean and well kept. There is a rooftop swimming pool, a sauna and a gym, plus a private parking lot for a separate price (5€ per day). Also, I feel I have to mention the super friendly and helpful ladies at the reception - thank you for all your support!

For the price you will not find anything better nearby. Food was tasty and everyday something different to choose from. Cleaners do their job really good and stuff at reception was really helpful. There is also a bar in lobby with live music, but its not that loud so you will not hear it in your rooms.

The hotel is well located in Puerto de la Cruz, near pretty much everything. If you're coming by car, you might find a spot in the old bus station, right next to the hotel, or ask for one of the 10 spaces in the hotel parking lot (for a fee). The reception staff and the breakfast were my favorite parts of this hotel. The reception area, bar, and restaurant look newly renovated but the rooms were a bit dated. I presume they will renovate the rooms next. Nonetheless, my room was very clean.

We had an amazing experience at the hotel. They have a great costumer service. Super friendly staff and they look really satisfied on their job. All really helpful as well. The room was very clean also the common areas on the terrace by the swimming pool. Nice and diversified buffet. The location also is great. I do recommend and for sure I would be back.

It might be 5 stars, but we dont like windows from the room. When you look through them, you gonna clearly see your neighborhood in room.

Clean rooms, good location. The staff was very helpful to us and the breakfast was good. However, it shouldn't be a 4 star hotel, maybe a 3. It definitely needs some refurbishment of the facilities as they are very out r of date. However, for the price you pay (half compared to other 4 star hotels) you get a good value for your money.

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. I had a great time, as much food as I could eat, and as much drink as I wanted. Staff are friendly, as was the reception I received when I arrived. My room was cleaned every day, my bed was made every day. I wasn't there to watch TV or to sit in my room. I was not bothered about how the hotel looked, I felt safe, I had a roof over my head, and food...

Been there over a dozen times and already booked for2020. We really like this hotel, obviously, or we wouldn’t come so often. We have no complaints with cleanliness, food or facilities. But we do wish the swimming pool was a bit warmer. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Hotel is very friendly and welcoming. We had breakfast which was very good quality and plenty to choose from. The drinks at the hotel were very reasonably priced. Rooms cleaned every day. The standard of the pool and some of the corridors were not in good condition. For instance the 1st floor corridor was in need of repair. I would still highly recommend this hotel

Tonight is my final night in Trianflor hotel. It' been two weeks of absolutely fabulous experiance. I've been to many other a lot more expensive hotels before including in Puerto de la Cruise in Tenerife and this one has been one of the better ones. An hotel that provides excellent value for money. Whilst the hotel is somewhat in need of redecoration, and is oriented towards low cost tourism, it is nevertheless well run with a professional and helpful staff. Every effort is made to make guests welcome, and the rooms are comfortable if somewhat worn. Provided your expectations are in line with the low cost of the hotel, you will not be disappointed...
