RF San Borondon

Clean, good value hotel 5 to 10 min walk to promenade and the the old quarter. Staff friendly and decent spacious rooms. However, breakfast was of average quality and not worth €12 - if you don't normally eat much, then it is better to walk to local café .

Lovely hotel and staff. I didn't like the mattress, it makes a hole in the middle when you sleep and in my opinion the bathroom cleaning is not made properly when they come to refresh the room.
Apart of that, very nice!

Big clean room but no air conditioning which could be problem in the summer. The pool is large and kept very well. Drink prices are very reasonable considering it's a hotel. Good value for money in an excellent location.

This was our first holiday together and a birthday present for my other half. We stayed in a studio room which had a fridge and some basic cooking equipment. The room was very spacious with a twin bed and was decorated to a good standard (as per the photos online) The bathroom had a walk in shower and again was clean. The hotel had a great feel about it and all of the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you.

Food.
We opted for breakfast only as there are so many restaurants nearby that we didn't want to miss out on. What we did have at breakfast was great there was a huge selection of cooked and continental, fresh bread and pastry. Fresh coffee. Again staff at dining were all very friendly and welcoming.

Location. We were so lucky with the location of this hotel, as we have never visited Tenerife before we had no idea where we were however that said we had everything we wanted or needed only a few minutes away. There are some great restaurants a few minutes from the hotel and sandy beaches. There is also a good supermarket at the end of the road.

Staff.
All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The swimming pool was great and surrounding area was immaculate and kept that way throughout our stay by the lifeguard. The life guard was very thorough keeping the pool area tidy and clean and was constantly keeping on top of this every day.

We would definitely return.

The hotel is very nice, it looks better than I have expected. The rooms are cleaned every day. The swimming pool is great, it has salted water and at the beginning of September is was not very crowded. The breakfas, even if it kind of repeats the dishes, is very good and you have what to choose. We also had dinner which was very good. There are different types of meats every day and different garnishes also. You can also have dessert. The staff is very nice and helpful, especially the ones from the restaurant. The location is very good, it is a quiet area but there are issues in finding parking places.
I would totally recommend the place, it is very good value for money. I hope to come back here.

Good prices, very clean, great location very central. Staff rather inattentive if any specials are needed (like second bedsheet). Breakfast rather plain and underwhelming.

Giant beds. Clean rooms. Breakfast was tasty.

Will definitely stay there again
