Just returned from this hotel. For what you pay for it is OK value for money. The entertainment staff work hard and are friendly. If want a drink or biscuit from the bar don't expect all the staff to crack a smile as some are a little rude and you wonder why they are in that job. The room was clean, a musty scent when I first arrived, but that was all. The pools were nice and the staff were attentive and friendly. Meals were virtually the same every day, with an array of choices. The area itself was delightful, and even at the end of the season, the weather was lovely. All in all, a lovely time had.

Hotel rooms are nice but require up grading. The room was clean I understand the island has rules regarding alcohol,at hotel you can only have alcohol drinks during meals and only so many per person per day ,I get this, but you can't take your drink outside!! The room we had was lovely, but know that the frosted glass at the shower/ bedroom is very seethrough so was awkward at times. Pool was pretty small for the size of the hotel but they’ve made the most of the area they have. Honestly couldn’t fault the hotel itself.

Recently stayed here for 10 nights and can't fault the hotel at all. Staff are nice, the pools are beautiful and never over crowded, the food is nice and reasonably priced, the room was great, everything is clean and tidy and it's 1 minute to the beach.

It was a nice stay at the wahala beach hotel. Near by the beach and you have lots of restaurants and bar and also supermarket. A truly 5 star experience. This is one of the best hotel we've ever booked. Rooms are pure luxury. Pool area is sunny all day. Food is absolutely stunning: great ingredients and fresh recipes. We had a great trip over to Mallorca during the Easter holidays, and we were well looked after at whala!fun. The hotel was clean, tidy and well-presented with a fantastic breakfast buffet that was included in the cost of our stay (we booked through Air BnB). Quiet little rooftop bar and a small swimming pool were the perfect place to relax during the sunny afternoons.

Very good see view and warm staff. The only issue was cleanliness of the rooms. The glass shield in terrace was so dirty that made it hard to enjoy the see view. Great place and no problems. Away from too much. There was a bit of noise around the hotel but it's not unbearable and is probably just because it's close to a main road. There are good shops nearby and you can bring food into the rooms although whether they allow that I don't know

Very good hotel. The beds are super comfortable, and rooms are really well designed. Staff also seemed really friendly. We didn't have breakfast here as you have lots of places surrounding the hotel and we decided to cheap out on that. I am not the "hotel type" of person, but I could get used to living in Fenix if I had to. I recommend it, especially if you get a nice price in the off-season.

Typical budget hotel. Service was painfully as the person behind reception spent the whole time on their phone while serving me and other customers, painfully slow and unfriendly. Beds were rock hard and everything was an 'extra' including Aircon and WiFi, even the TV didn't have a remote. However the hotel and rooms were clean and in a good locations to pubs bars and shops . It's cheap, and that's reflected, ig ore the weirdos who want a 5 star hotel for 60 quid a night. If you don't mind cheap then come, I've payed more for worse. It's also 10 mins from the beach, bars about, and plenty of spars. For the price is exactly what you expect, maybe a bit better.

Don't be put off by some of the reviews of this Hotel, stayed here from 25 th Sept until 4th October. Breakfast was good, hot food and continental, evening meal was OK . Location very good, rooms clean and safe. Alcohol was cheap at the Hotel 6€ for a bottle of wine. The resort. ...keep away from the kaoroke bar and Bier express down on the front ...overpriced and rubbish. Level 8 on the back streets...

Very Friendly staff ,welcoming . I wasn't keen on the food to be honest. I was expecting the hotel to be noisy ,this wasn't the case .You get what you pay for regarding the rooms. I would return.

Emilio was so lovely and friendly! He went out of his way to help us. We had an issue with a noisy neighbour and we called down to reception and it was dealt with very quickly and effectively. For us it was great. I read some of the bad reviews here, but common. Good location. Cheap hotel. Ok room. Clean sheets. Shower with hot water. Some breakfast and pool by the hotel?? It is a bargain :-))) I would say this is a great spot if you are on a budget...We could even print out our boarding passes and stay by the pool after check out and chill. I totally recommend this!!!

The rooms were ok. They were clean and nice and cleaning lady came few times during our stay. Breakfast is included and it's really nice, you have various options. The staff was helpful whenever we asled something. The pool was not clean, but that was thanks to some drunk people that went in during the night. 5 star 24 hour reception service very friendly and good breakfast. We booked the Arenal II hostel next door. Option for one night after late flight. One of the cheaper 1 star places to stay. Very basic, old and very noisy with the street noise and party goers.

Los empleados son muy amables pero las instalaciones dejan que desear. El lavabo se atascó, la ducha sin mampara ni cortina hace que inundes media habitación al ducharte y para cerrar la puerta hay que salir con tiempo porque se encallaba. Being a two stars hotel, it offers an essential room with toilet, the comfort of a swimming pool and a basic breakfast as well. The reception is open 24h, that means a comfortable check in at any time but on the other hand some noisy nights (my missus used earplugs). Overall it's a good hotel, highly recommended for younger people!
