Hotel Castilla Guerrero in Malaga

There were no amenities in the room (coffee, tea, kettle). The internet was not working at all. When we asked at the front desk, we were told it is, “sometimes slow.” They did not seem to care that they do not have reliable internet in a hotel in 2025.

The taxi dropped us at the wrong place, and it was very difficult to reach the hotel. We contacted the reception for help, but they strongly refused to send the correct location via WhatsApp, later explaining that they had experienced fraud attempts. However, they could have easily verified our booking details to confirm we were genuine guests. It was noon with children, and we arrived late and tired.

When we finally checked in, we found the bathroom door broken and had to use a chair to keep it closed, which was very inconvenient for a family room. The room lacked basic amenities such as tea, coffee, water, or a kettle. The air conditioning only produced hot air. On the last day, early in the morning before leaving for the airport, the water supply stopped completely.

Despite the beauty of Málaga, our hotel experience ruined the enjoyment of our stay.
