Holiday Inn Express Malaga Airport, an IHG Hotel

Location ideal for airport travel but you need a taxi you cannot walk to it from the airport.
Rooms a great size and clean. €5 euro for a pint as well not bad. Breakfast was good, busy between 9-10 had to queue for 10 minutes

Very nice clean hotel with friendly staff. The location is walkable through Argonautas road and cutting through some gravel parking lots and under a couple of bridges. However it is safe and paved most of the way. Great for a short airport stay

Perfect overnight stopover from malaga airport for us before we continued our journey the next day.
Rooms were clean,comfortable and well equipped.
The staff could not do enough for us ,from the easy latenight check in to ordering taxis the next morning.
The continental breakfast was plentiful and fresh.

Perfect hotel if you have an early get away (I had a 6am flight). Rooms are very spacious and come with a bath and shower. Many budget hotels only come with a showers so this is a plus for me. They provide a kettle to make your own tea and coffee and there is a simple complimentary breakfast as well. Snack is available at 4am and full breakfast service doesn’t start until 7am. Check-in was quick and received a drink voucher for the bar. This hotel does the job so not why all the complaints. This is budget hotel and personally I think is great value.

There is a small BP garage next to the hotel where you can purchase a few snacks.
I walked from the terminal. It’s a 15 minute walk. Perfectly possible if you have hand luggage only. There is a busy roundabout which you need to cross otherwise pretty straightforward. Take path an along the old terminal then walk along a the cars rentals.
There is a small coffee shop you pass on the way. Some of the pastries looked nice so you might want consider purchasing something to take away. Last 100m is on a dirt track.

Standard Holiday Inn near Málaga airport. Unfortunately there is no shuttle bus and the road is not really walkable with luggage.
We had to take a taxi for a 5 minute ride paying the minimum airport fee of 20 euros.

Great for a late arrival or early departure.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The walk from the airport is awkward but very doable.
I walked to the hotel and got a taxi back to the airport, cost about €14 which at 3:30 am was fine.

We wanted a hotel close to the airport for the last night of our trip, and the Holiday Inn was a great choice. The staff were incredibly helpful and gracious. The rooms were nice - although the bathroom in our room had a large frosted window that left a little to be desired for privacy. Although it's close to the airport, it's not really within walking distance of anything else, but breakfast was included so it definitely met our needs.
