Reviews
I particularly want to mention the Animation Entertainment team we had so much fun with Carlota Herrnandez (Charlotte) and kept us entertained all week and also with the Aqua Gym keeping us fit she was brilliant also loved the Sangria demonstration 😂.
Charlotte is a credit to the company and an absolutely lovely person to be around, even coming in on her day off!!
Thanks for a lovely stay 😊
Would never be one to write a review but after staying here I was left so disappointed.
The walls are so unbelievably thin you can hear everything in the halls, the rooms next door and outside.
We had to move rooms because the wifi didn’t work, this took two full days with different receptionist telling us to come back at another time. After paying 1.2k for 6 nights i would expect to at least have access to Wi-Fi but the staff just made us feel like an inconvenience for this request and were not apologetic in the slightest.
We were woken up every single morning with the noise in both rooms we stayed in. The room we were moved to faced the pool so the noise of screaming kids was constant as the patio doors didn’t block any of the noise and they might as well of been open.
We went all inclusive and are not picky eaters at all but the food was terrible we ate out for most meals.
Silverfish all over the bathroom and bedroom which was disgusting.
Pool was so packed and people put their towels out early to reserve them so we didn’t get to go to the pool at all during our stay.
The only pro is that the hotel is less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and the cleaning ladies were really nice.
Would not waste your money staying here there is definitely much better hotels around the area.
Wouldn’t recommend anyone under the age of 60 to stay here.
I'll start by saying this is probably a great hotel for the younger groups who don't really care about facilities. I want to also express how wonderful the whole staff at this hotel are, very polite and extremely attentive.
Overall though we were disappointed with this hotel. It looks so much better on the pictures. The pool area is tiny. My KIDS were shouted at in the pool for slightly splashing and raising their voices. When in the pool you have to be silent and serious and that was shocking to me. They were not allowed to have fun in there. At one point I had to ask the lifeguard to get off of her high horse.
Also be careful leaving belongings when you get in the pool. We has a wireless speaker stolen in literally a few minutes of being gone. We also had 3 towels stolen in a week which is an absolute joke.
The food was abysmal. Sorry. We are not fussy eaters but go on holiday around 4 times a year, always all inclusive and this was one of the worst dining experiences we've had. We paid all inclusive and still had to spend almost 2000 eating out for 5 of us in a week. The kids would not touch it.
On the plus side there was always a great selection of pastries but being celiac that's out of the question. Even the fruit was the same 3 fruits everyday, water melon, melon and orange, occasionally kiwi. 😅. If you can eat melon and pastry you are fine. Went to get toast one morning and there was the slight green dusting of mould on and by god that is disgusting.
The breakfast was repeated the same everyday. The only upside is the pool snack bar was great and the only food my kids would tolerate.
The bar staff were great but kept giving me alcohol free almost cocktails. Come on, I'm a fully grown adult. I even saw them refusing some lads drinks because they had been up 5 mins before and got one. Sorry but that's not acceptable when people have paid for all inclusive and the bar man clearly needs teaching that.
Be aware that there are 2 sockets in the room that give out bare minimum electricity. My phone would be on charge all night and still be at 60% it was a challenge getting everyone's electronics charged. We bought an extension lead and that kind of helped.
Very noisy on a night with the groups sat at the bottom of our rooms, shouting even fighting 2 nights. Not whst you want on a holiday.
There's NOWHERE to get a coffee before breakfast opens. I was so wound up about this. I'm up at 6am every morning and coffee is an essential. I'd take a kettle if you do try this hotel because many people I spoke to had the same problem
Cleaner was wonderful. Rooms spotless.
Overall great staff, terrible experience
There was a globales palmanova next door, much better hotel and when on the return coach and journey home, everyone I spoke to loved that hotel so if you can afford the slight increase, choose thst hotel or the amazing globales Saint Lucia.

If the staff didn't report my missing items, then that is a failure of yours, not of mine. I went to the reception on both instances and reported that they were gone and I was told 'not to leave valuables around the pool its not their responsibility' which i get however are leaving towels at the pool while I get in the pool my responsibility?
In fact I was berated by staff for going inside wet, although my towel had gone so if you want to get into that one, we can.
The bread had a green dusting so if you are using green flour, please address that because that is the only other thing it could have been and I wad present when another patron raised the issue with staff and the bread quickly disappeared.
I recently stayed at Cook’s Club Calvia Beach and was extremely disappointed with the experience. Despite the hotel’s 4-star rating, the cleanliness and service were far below acceptable standards.
Upon arrival, I was given a room that was shockingly dirty:
- There were multiple hairs on the bed and in the bathroom.
- The bed sheets were visibly dirty.
- I even found a bag containing sand and trash left by a previous guest.
After complaining, I was moved to a second room, only to find it also dirty, with hairs all over the bathroom floor. Despite meeting with the manager, who offered an upgrade to a sea view room, the overall experience remained unacceptable.
It took the hotel over 20 days to respond to my complaints, and their explanations did not justify the poor conditions. Additionally, I booked directly through their website, expecting high-quality service, which was not delivered.
Given these issues, I strongly advise against staying at Cook’s Club Calvia Beach. The lack of cleanliness, poor service, and delayed responses are not worth the inconvenience. There are plenty of better options out there.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel.
The pool area is clean and tidy. Pity children were not allowed to have rubber rings or water balls. Male life guard could be rude and take such items from children but we didn’t let that spoil our stay.
Negatives are not enough plug sockets in bedroom area and food wasn’t great in main restaurant. I think small changes could be made but overall we have had a good first family here. Would we return? Yes but I wouldn’t recommend with children too young
