AQUA Hotel Promenade

Very impressed with this hotel. We only ever want a good bed and a good breakfast wherever we stay. We were not disappointed. We got a junior suite, which we didn't expect so that was a great start !! We were on the 5th floor and had 2 balconies, a giant bed, a seating area and a big shower room. There was loads of spaces for clothes. We loved the room. Breakfast was amazing...such a wide and varied selection and options to eat. From fruit, salads, meat, cheese, sweet treats, cereals, breads, hot food, juices, tea,coffee, syrups, yoghurt and different milks. Food was replenished as quick as it disappeared. The hotel itself was very clean. The cleaning ladies were very friendly and cheery every morning. Loved the see through lift. We left the hotel very very early in our last morning and there was a breakfast laid on for us, not everything but enough basics to set us up for the day. All the other guests we spoke to in the hotel was very complimentary of the hotel also. We had views of the beach/sea and a side street. There was only CNN as an English speaking channel on the TV but we were out so much that it didn't matter. The hairdryer in the bathroom was brilliant, not like the usual hard set hotel ones. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel is supplied in shower cubicle and are very good and plentiful. No iron but maybe reception would have one, we didn't need one. There is a safe in the wardrobe for keeping personal bits in. Even though there is well over 200 rooms, there never was a long wait for the lift at meal times,etc. Entertainment was provided on most nights. Hotel staff..some more friendlier than others but overall they were efficient and helpful. An enjoyable stay.

Just returned from a week at the aqua hotel promenade, staff work very hard especially in the restaurant and house keeping, we had a pool view although sadly pool was too cold to go in. There is a heated pool in spa area but only for over 16s. Location is great opposite the beach and near to the train station for day trips to other resorts and cities of girona and Barcelona. The town is small and easy to get around, if you have a electric car there are charge points right outside the hotel, in all a pleasant stay, my family will miss the breakfast which they really enjoyed.

Excellent break for my husband and I. All the staff are incredible and professional. Food service was impressive and they were very attentive. A special mention to Ana who was there every service and always had a smile when welcoming everyone. We are already looking at rebooking

This is simply an excellent hotel. The service is beyond praise. The rooms are spacious, the sea view is gorgeous! The breakfasts and dinners are beyond praise! I will definitely come back again.

Hi everyone, Mary and Derek here from ireland. 🇮🇪We stayed here the last week in Sept and it was fantastic. Friendly staff and great location across from the beach. Fabulous Spa in the hotel and a gym. You are only 50m from a train station. You can access many resorts on the Costa Bravo and Barcelona from here, and the prices are very reasonable.

We have just returned from a week at the Hotel Promenade. We had a fantastic room on the fifth floor, a penthouse suite with a large terrace and a huge outdoor bath tub. I really loved the outside bathtub after dark, looking up at the stars and the moon and listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. Sheer bliss! Worth the extra money for the room, especially as the pool area was in the shade for most of the day. We only sunbathed on our on terrace and it was so peaceful. The food in the hotel was very good and it offered good variety. The staff in the hotel were all very friendly and helpful, I don’t know all their names but Ana, the restaurant manager was extremely efficient and the restaurant staff including Oscar and Fatima were all nice. Everyone at reception was very friendly. Peggy, who organised our check in was very helpful. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a very good swimming pool, and as someone who loves swimming, I was a bit disappointed in this, but this was the only downside. However, we did use the indoor pool in the spa a couple of times. It costs 15 euros for two hours and it’s totally worth it. It is a really lovely spa, a real oasis of tranquility and was a perfect option for a couple of cloudy afternoons. The hotel is close to the beach and although the railway runs between the hotel and the beach there is an underpass right in front of the hotel that takes you right on to the beach and there is a really nice walkway the length of the beach. All in all a very enjoyable and great value holiday.

I stayed at the Hotel Promenade and Spa with my daughter for a week. We enjoyed our stay. We arrived early so our room was not ready but there is a luggage room securely accessed by a swipe card where we could leave our luggage and change if we wanted to. Unfortunately it was raining so we did not bother changing. Check in is at 2pm but our room was ready around 1pm. The room had a pool view and was a decent size with twin beds, a desk. a chair, wardrobe and a big bathroom with a walk in shower. There is a free safe in the wardrobe. We stayed half board and the food was very nice and varied. Breakfast had both full English and assorted continental dishes. There was also a variety of juices including proper orange juice. There was even cava if you wanted a mimosa. The evening meals also had plenty of variety. The only downside is the pool. It is quite small and mainly in the shade for most of the day. The staff are helpful and we were informed we could have an early breakfast arranged as we were leaving before breakfast started at 8 am.

Oscar, the waiter, was not only attentive but also had a great sense of humor, making our dining experience truly memorable. The reception staff was wonderful—they spoke Dutch, which made us feel right at home. The hotel itself was fantastic, offering comfortable rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The positive reviews for this hotel are true. We loved our stay and can’t wait to be back! I do want to thank several workers that made our stay particularly wonderful. Kudos to the management for bringing such a great team together, this is what makes a great hotel in the first place. Reception: everyone is friendly and helpful, but Ariette went above and beyond to help us with all the questions we had. She is a gem! Restaurant: great food, great staff, but we would like to mention the consistently positive attitude to guests from Fatima, Julia, Sandra and, of course, Oscar who is the most efficient waiter I have ever seen! I am not sure he can be replaced as he is fast, precise and always positive. Spa: we loved it and thank you, Elianna, for always being so friendly and hospitable. The room cleaning was great and time efficient.
All in all, there is nothing we did not like so thank you for our unforgettable vacation!
