Smy Hotel in Puerto de la Cruz

Loved this hotel, The staff are super friendly which is refreshing. I cannot fault the food, a different theme every night as well as the usually selections. Desserts are also really good. The hotel itself is very clean and sea view room options. Also options to upgrade are reasonably priced. The hotel has 2 pools, 1 quiet for a more relaxed experience and the main pool which is beautiful and includes daily entertainment, get yourself involved and have some fun, it's what holidays are all about.

Above and beyond. Our stay here has been amazing. The staff are the nicest we've ever stayed with. They made our Halloween. The entertainment staff were so friendly and the activities were thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family. The catering staff always welcomed us with a smile. The reception staff always happy to help. Ty especially to Ester Fabio and Luna for putting on amazing shows. We are all very grateful for the effort u all put in. My son was happy he got to carve a pumpkin. We needed a break and u guys delivered. We loved the escape room and the ghost tunnel. Would and will recommend ur hotel to anyone xxx

The hotel is located in North Tenerife - nice location, close to shops and restaurants, but be prepared to walk uphill. What makes this place truly special are the staff. They always greet you with a smile and nothing ever feels too much trouble. A big shout out especially to the entertainment staff - Luna, Fabi, Esther and all the team. They truly demonstrate dedication and commitment to ensuring that all the guests are truly well looked after. We are in awe of how they not only know the names of everyone but how they manage to stay so positive and happy. The Halloween show was sensational and how the team managed to pull together something so spectacular whilst also doing their day jobs. Outstanding.

Stayed here for 7 nights. Friendly service/staff & entertainment people were great! The rooms were kept clean daily. Major downside was the food and also plates & cups were not up to a 100% clean standard. The food was good for 2 nights only being Italian & Mexican night everything else was barely edible which is a massive shame as this hotel could be perfect. Lovely pools especially the 2nd floor pool lovely round egg sofas to sit on. Location also let me down on really steep hills, we travelled to Siam park in Las Americas for the day too and the weather was soo much better there! Not much to do this end of the island in Puerto de la cruz. Very few food places, lots of souvenir shops & McDonalds and burger king. Great supermarket near hotel too but again steep hills

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Upon check-in, we were met with the friendliest staff who took a genuine interest in our stay and our comfort. The grounds are beautiful, with two pool areas that featured gorgeous landscaping and views of Teide. The location was ideal, an easy walk down hill (steep coming back up) to the ocean-side restaurants and bars, and a quick walk north to the stunning botanic garden. There were four of us, so we stayed in the suite with two balconies (one with a view of the ocean) and a separate bedroom area. The bathroom could use an update but it was all clean and functional. We had a car and used the hotel parking, which was convenient, though a tight squeeze. With an all-inclusive option (we didn't take, our stay was short), it's easy to see why guests stay a week or longer.

Clean and quiet
Clean and most importantly quiet, far away from the drunken louts of Los Cristianos, we even slept well over New Year. Decent breakfast and lots of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Staff excellent, pricey over New Year but fair. Decent pool, lots of parking nearby. Hilly area but within the resort suitable for anyone.
