We had an amazing family holiday at Protur Roquetas Hotel & Spa. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the friendly staff. The hotel is ideal for families, our kids absolutely loved the water park and the children’s pool. The entertainment team kept them busy with fun activities while we got to relax by the pool. The location is perfect, right by the beach, so we could easily go back and forth between the sea and the pool.
Our room was spacious and spotless, with a balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens. We opted for the all-inclusive package, and the food didn’t disappoint. There was always a good variety at the buffet, and the themed restaurants were a nice change of pace. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we will definitely be back!

Wow, what a fantastic hotel. No wonder it's 5 stars. Staff were awesome, helpful, and also knew great areas to visit. Drinks that we had to pay for were reasonably priced. All amenities were spotless. Disabled access from main entrance with lifts to all floors. Hotel rooms were very well laid out and well maintained.
The swimming pool was really nice and again in great condition, allowing for the non swimmer to paddle as well as the experienced swimmer to enjoy. There is plenty of live entertainment for adults and kids. There was a kids' indoor entertainment area. The beach was well maintained, and we felt comfortable walking without any foot wear. Will go again. There is a Facebook site which someone has set up which does this hotel great justice.

I'm not sure who rated this hotel, but it certainly doesn’t deserve its 5-star label. At best, this is comparable to a standard 2- or 3-star hotel. Despite being advertised as a spa hotel, they charge extra for spa services, which feels misleading. I booked for two people but ended up staying alone when my friend couldn’t make it. Despite paying for two, the hotel didn’t offer any compensation or flexibility for the extra charges.
Additionally, even with a dinner-inclusive package, they still charge for drinks, including a simple glass of Coca-Cola. There's no mention of possible upgrades or package details that could improve the stay. It was also uncomfortable having someone stand by during the meal, ready to bring the bill the moment I touched a drink.
The rooms are extremely basic, offering nothing more than hot water, towels, and a bed. You could easily get the same experience from a budget hotel, and for much less.
What’s even more frustrating is that this seems to be primarily a tour group hotel. If you're not part of a tour, you feel like an afterthought and shouldn't bother staying here. The experience for individual travelers is far from welcoming or enjoyable.
If you're looking for a relaxing, luxurious stay, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I absolutely loved this place, right from the start the service was fantastic. Everyone one of the staff was very friendly, very approachable, very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel itself looked amazing. The building looked epic from the outside and in. The rooms have all you need and the fridge was filled every day with soft drinks and water; nice little touch. The beds were huge and very comfy, room service every day. Balconies were adequately spaced with tables and chairs.
The main buffet restaurant was fantastic with a great selection of world cuisine. The staff and management looked after you and were always happy and friendly. There were 2 other restaurants to choose from, Italian and Asian cuisine, both were brilliant with great food and service.
The pool area was great, with 2 main pools, a lazy river, and a separate splash pool for the little ones. There are plenty of sun loungers, but be quick to get your tiles out if you want to sit around the pool itself. Great pool bar with self-service drinks and snacks throughout the day.
There was a spa and a gym also, great facilities all around. Would definitely stay here again.

On booking I never realised that this hotel was 5* as that doesn’t matter much to me. I booked with Tui and went off how amazing the pictures were on the website, the all inclusive aspect as I have 2 young children and the price.
On arrival I was absolutely blown over! The pictures do not do the place justice. From the start all I can say is amazing! The staff in every department were phenomenal and could not do enough for you, they were always asking if there was anything we needed or if there was anything they could do for us and as a young mum of 2 young children that goes a hell of a long way, they made me feel so safe and we were extremely well looked after!
I spoke to many other holiday makers who were staying there who had been before and can not stay away due to how great the place is!
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who was to ask. Our stay was for 10 nights and the 3 of us are usually ready to go home after that but this time we definitely could’ve stayed A LOT longer!
And if you’re not a drinker like my self the non-alcoholic cocktails are fab!

What a fantastic stay at Protur Roquetas Hotel & Spa! The moment we arrived, the warm welcome from the staff set the tone for the whole trip. The hotel is immaculate, with beautiful gardens and an amazing pool area. We especially enjoyed the lounge bar, where we could relax with a cocktail while soaking in the sea views. The location is unbeatable, just steps from a lovely beach. Our room was spacious and well-maintained, and the bed was super comfortable. Whether you’re after relaxation or fun activities, this hotel has it all. We’ll definitely return!

Protur Roquetas offers the perfect mix of luxury and comfort. We booked a Jacuzzi Suite Elite, and it was well worth it — the private jacuzzi on the terrace with views over the pool was a dream! The food was outstanding, with a mix of Mediterranean and international cuisine that kept things interesting. We were especially impressed by the staff, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The spa was another highlight, offering top-notch treatments and a tranquil atmosphere. Overall, an exceptional stay, and we can’t wait to visit again!

Nice staff, lovely rooms and being all inclusive was great. The food changed daily so didn't get repetitive.
The area it's self is quite boring if I'm honest, being all inclusive meant we had our evening meal at the hotel, the restaurants on the beach front won't let you in for just a drink, You have to go out the front for that which isn't as nice.
Couldn't get near the pool or a sun lounger for family's hogging them with towels, I thought this got policed in most hotels now but not here it seems.
Was a nice hotel and holiday but there's much better places in spain

The hotel was amazing. We had a superior suite with Sea view and hot tub. It was hard to leave the room it was that nice. Plenty of tea and coffee provided. Shower gel etc. Dressing gown and Slippers. Pool was lovely, and looked amazing lit up at night. Unfortunately, didnt manage to get to use the Spa during our short stay.

We really love this hotel, we had a family holiday in October 2022.
The bedroom was a great size and was very clean as was the hotel itself and the service was also fantastic.
The location was perfect as it was right by the beach and there were some local supermarkets and a pharmacy very nearby.
The coffee provided at breakfast time/meal time within the restaurant was very poor. I ordered coffee from the reception/atrium bar which is great and took that with me.
So my only feedback really would be please, please improve the coffee that is offered within the restaurant, (even the machine coffee was very poor sorry!)
