Hotel California Garden

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The staff were lovely throughout. The room was what you needed including a fridge. Breakfast was pretty standard so no complaints.

Rooms great. Reception needs more staff when they know when you're arriving. Food is about average a three star hotel. Bar staff are the most rude I have ever seen .

Hi everyone I stayed at this hotel for my birthday I have never been to salou before this is what I think of the hotel

Location is excellent

waterpark and Ferrari world is 10 minutes away from the hotel average 5 minutes from the beach and lots of shops nearby for shopaholics to stop by and have a look!

Room

Aircon smelt a little bit but hardly noticeable only when u walk in the room straight away but very powerful Aircon so not too hot in the night, bathroom nice. Beds are comfy but okay bedding.lift takes forever by forever I mean it will be there by the time you finish your stay haha. But stairs are optional so it's okay! Ps lift smells like sweaty socks.

Reception is okay . mini bar outside bartenders are amazing the person who checks in at the restaurant is very nice waiters are a bit rude they take your waters when Ur not finished yet and don't say please and thank you sometimes push . and chef Carlos burnt my chicken :( it's okay carlos we still love you.

Pool is fantastic but cold and not chlorine water it's salt water so dont swallow it it will make you sick and needs the toilet every second ps speaking from experience also wear black pants if you know what I mean ;) 💩

Aka good morning people!

Wonderful Hotel, modern and recently upgraded. Clean a d comfy rooms with A/C . Food was good, counted 58 dishes one night and can't understand how people can still complain about lack of variety. Staff looked after our every need and we got great value for money. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was spotless the only fault was on the day we were leaving we had a late pickup and we had to be out of the room by 11am and even tough we offered to pay for an extension to our room they said No so after some persuasion they agreed to let use a room to have a shower at 18:00 to fleshing up before our pick up. Apart from that all was enjoyable. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back.

Stayed here for a week and had a lovely time! Reception staff a bit slow checking in but no bother, cleaning staff lovely and in the ladies in the dining room always made a fuss of my little boy. Great location. Food is what I would expect from half board, we would definitely go back there.

Can't praise this place enough. Food was lovely great variety and always plenty so no running out if you were late for dinner. Very pleasant and friendly staff from reception to dining to cleaning staff. Rooms a little small and basic could use some drawers to the bed sides. I had the penthouse so the balcony was bigger which is great for catching the sun in private. Plus it had a great view of the mountains and was nice to watch the sunset.

Just arrived home today after staying here for 2 weeks. The hotel itself is lovely, modern and clean and the staff were very friendly we thought.
The cleaners came to our room at the same time every day and even pulled the beds out of the way to clean underneath.
The food isn’t great and can get a little repetitive, we were full board but ate out quite a lot.
The entertainment team for the children were absolutely amazing! Mini club twice a day along with games in between. Mini disco, bingo, karaoke and live entertainment in the evenings. Alvaro, Vera and Lucas from the animation team were fantastic with my son Owen and really helped him enjoy his holiday!
The location of the hotel is great too, close to shops, restaurants and bars etc. and only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach.
I would definitely be happy to stay here again but would go bed and breakfast.
