Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable and bathroom was lovely, very big shower, no bath which wasn’t an issue for us and the room was slightly small. All the staff were friendly, the pool areas were nice with a nice place area for kids. Only issue is that people were reserving sunbeds from before 8am and weren’t appearing to use them until atleast 1pm. We chose the half board option, the food...
The hotel is very large, it has two large buildings connected by a covered walkway, the main building, with the reception, is curved, the other is L-shaped. Check-in went smoothly, Patricia, young and professional, welcomed us. We had All Inclusive. We paid 4.5 Euros per day for the safe plus a 20 Euros deposit. The room was very clean, the towels were changed daily. The maids do an excellent job and...
While my stay at the hotel was pleasant overall, I was surprised to find that certain amenities I consider standard for a 4- or 5-star hotel were missing. Complimentary drinking water, coffee and tea, a bath towel, and a chair in the room are basic expectations at this level of service. I hope the hotel considers including these to enhance the guest experience
Is our last day here, for 6 days we had an amazing time, the staff was very friendly, and clean place, and the all-inclusive service and every activity were fantastic. The pool was clean too and I liked that the staff focused on the rules.
Genuinely a nice and clean, affordable hotel to use a base to explore salou. If I was someone who spent more time in the hotel and less on the beach and surrounding restaurants I wouldn’t recommend it. The pools are not big enough to accommodate the volume of customers and aren’t much to look at. The food isn’t worth paying any extra to be all inclusive/half board as there isn’t much choice and it...
The Hotel was amazing, staff very friendly and helpful. There were no rush to put towels on loungers as there were plenty of beds available. No long queue at the bar or at the restaurant. Entertainment was great, mini arcade was a bonus for my 12 yr old.walk to the shops were 2 min away. I have not got one single fault with the hotel. I look forward to returning with my family.

This was a great place to stay. Rooms were clean. Staff were all lovely There was a fairly extensive drink menu for all inclusive. Food was okay (nothing to worry home about) but there was something for everyone. Entertainment was local and seemed like a lot of fun. Children all seemed to be entertained and happy. A few people taking advantage of the all inclusive drinks but that can't be helped. Check...
stayed here many times grat family hotel / food great / easy walking o shoping malls
We went in September 2025 for our honeymoon. The hotel was very clean and modern. It is a very busy hotel, so keep in mind the queues and lack of sunbeds. The food was not great, same things everyday with a slight change, not much flavour. But I think food and taste is different for everyone. The hotel is about a 2 minute walk to what I call the strip, which then leads down to the beach (in all about...
Disappointing Breakfast was ok but food was cold, other meals offered were overcooked / undercooked even freshly cooked meats and fish were left to go cold. I had suckling pig pieces which were either very fatty or so hard you could not bite it. Some of the cutlery was dirty. We were dissapointed. When we arrived we were given a timetable for meals which was incorrect and the receptionist even underlined...
We stayed at Hotel Jaime I as a family and overall had a decent experience. The staff were mixed; some were very friendly while others came across quite rude. It did feel like if you could speak Spanish they would engage more, otherwise not as much. The bartenders, however, were excellent, always welcoming and fun to chat with. With the all-inclusive package, the endless drinks at the bar were a real...
I was on the reserve as to what to expect from this resort hotel. But to my surprise a solid 4 star. Even in peak season it was reasonably quite for a good night rest. Lots of entertainment durning the night and day. Food was excellent. Workers are very friendly. I just didn't give a 5 star because of location (which is still very close to beach). I recommend the all included package. Highly recommended...

Very nice family hotel for the visit of PortAventura. Park admission is included from the day of arrival till the day of departure, access to the park is from the hotel. If you need to get back to the hotel from Ferrari Land, then there is pathway accross the parking lot because the PortAventura is closed in the evening. Breakfast and dinner buffet were delicious with plenty of choices both for adults...
We booked gold river hotel for a week over halloween as a package with Jet2. It included unlimited access to Portaventura and 1 day at Ferrari world. After reading some of the negative reviews we were a bit apprehensive. We had the most fantastic time, the details and effort in the park and hotel is obvious to see. Our room looked newly renovated and was perfectly adequate for a family of 4, comfortable...
it was a great stay... the rooms are beautiful and spacious ... there was induction as well but no cutlery in room ... there was not even a single glass or spoon. But i enjoyed my stay.
Basic but functional rooms. Bed not particularly comfortable and no extra pillows. Nice to have a fridge in the room. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Very useful having direct access to the theme park
Just enjoyed another family holiday at Hotel Gold River, we love everything about this hotel and how handy it is for the Park. It can be pretty busy in the restaurant at times, but it's never been a problem, the restaurant staff are fantastic, as is the food. The rooms surpass expectations and everything in the hotel is always clean and tidy. Can't wait to come back!
Bathroom floor was dirty when we first arrived. Bed mattress was very hard and pillows flat, fortunately we got to take extra pillows from the bed next to us. We would have loved some extra blankets as well. Room didn't have enough electric outlets, it had 3 outlets only which 2 of them were already plugged in with lamps. TV was very small, although this didn't bother us so much if the TV would have...

Beautiful Spanish style hotel. Very pleasant rooms, which maintain a fairly high temperature for the winter period. Friendly staff. A fairly spacious buffet. You can't choose from a very large offer, but everything that is presented is of good quality.
Just back from a week at the hotel, Dont trust all the 1 star reviews, the rooms can do with some modernisation however all was clean and cleaned daily, The bathroom restocked daily, The staff we're all great and nearly everyone speaks english. The buffet was really samey and quite bland but its too be expected with large scale catering, we visted the park 3 days and only found out on the 2nd day that...
The hotel and facilities were very nice including the big pool with kids area , sand volleyball court, billiards tables, and the bars/ restaurants on property. Beds were very comfortable as well! One problem we encountered was in the showers of our room it looked like mold was growing on the wall. The other issue was with the AC not really working at the temp we set it, so it was a bit hot at night...
Love the park, and the hotels make it easier. This was a little away from the park but had all the facilities
There is no microwave or kettle in the room. The queues to the park itself are very long.
I went with my family, and we really liked the location. The room was good size and the food was good. I would definitely come back.

Fantastic hotel! We stayed on the bottom floor with a door out to the pool. The room was large with a huge bed. The fold out bed for the child was also an excellent size. Great shower and all the facilities in the room. It would have been something to make coffee in the room. Really good blackout blinds and aircon meant a good night sleep. All the staff in the hotel were lovely and helpful. The food...
Had a wonderful stay here! We had a few issues with our first room, but the staff quickly upgraded us to an amazing room, which we truly appreciated. The reception service was outstanding. The location is literally one minute from the park—so convenient, especially with little kids.
We bought a 3 day pass, a day at PortAventura, another day there but can then go into Ferrari Land at 14:00. And 1 day at the water park. We have been to theme parks all over the world and this is as good as them. Some Thrilling rides for all the family. As some reviewers say you can wait over an hour for some rides, but which theme parks are different? The Parade at night and Firework and show at...
Good hotel, you have to walk labyrinth to find your room. There are a few pools, but no swimming coats in the room. Very strange feeding system with time slots, even for breakfast, so if you missed being in time, you have to wait till the next time slot starts in half an hour or so.
This place is just so amazing. We were a group of 650 people and everything was just so well coordinated. Meals were well prepared and on time. Busses and transport was well organized. Took a walk to Ferrari Land and the play area which was so beautiful. Rooms were pretty basic with no room service. They do not keep body cream, even after requesting. English is sometimes a bit of a problem.
We haved booked this hotel as package including park entry and half board (breakfast and dinner buffet) in low season last week of October. Overall we had a great deal for an amusement park hotel. Great little break away. Only negative points were checkin took forever and queues in parks were loooonnnng. Hotel is clean and tidy and prices for food and drink are reasonable for a resort hotel. Will definitely be back.
This hotel needs a total overhaul, starting with the owner/management. The staff looked over worked and could hardly raise a smile, which I felt was reflected over the whole park. There was certainly no Disneyland smile here! It really damages the atmosphere of the place. Wonderful location, 5 minute walk to the beach. Price vs quality is 6/5. Friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner buffet both are delicious! No kids allowed is another plus at this hotel, especially since you want some peace and quiet. The only thing is that the lobby bar opens at 10am, so you can’t get coffee before that. Also the coffee from machines in the restaurant is not real coffee 😏

Beautiful views, fine clean sand, a cozy bay and enough space on the beach. The rooms are quite cozy, for 4 person was a plenty of room. In the room was a hairdryer, bedclothes were changed every three days, towels each day, in a toilet there wasn't an extractor hood, as a result, the air in the bathroom was constantly humid and poorly ventilated. A holiday above expectations! It was the first time in Salou and the first time at the Best Cap Salou hotel, we had seen from the photos how beautiful the structure was, but in person it is even more so. As another reviewer has said earlier, a lot of the negative reviews are largely unfair and more to do with people's unrealistic expectations. It's a three star hotel with a water splash park that is an attractive destination for families with young kids. If you want luxury and a tranquil holiday then this hotel isn't for you! The negative comments are not fair. The description of the hotel that you find on booking is true and fits the reality. DO NOT expect quality food, it is buffet food, varied and of standard quality. You should also...
Great hotel, a lot of foods to choose from during the meals and the pools are great, but the WiFi doesn't really work and the beach isn't the cleanest but it isn't bad. We had a lovely stay at Best Negresco. The sea view was stunning from our room even though we didn’t book it! The beach was a 2 minute walk, perfect location. The hotel was very clean. Great place - great staff- great food - just great value for money Apparently they were due to do a refurbish after we left late in the season so it will be even better
Had a lovely family holiday here. The rooms are a little tired our wardrobe only had one door and I do think they should provide tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The location is very good for beach and portaventura. Food was fine always managed to find something we liked. The staff are very hard working and friendly
Hotel nice and good location, food could have been better, especially in the evening for kids and adults. The animation team were good, but the mini disco starts at 9.30 a bit late. I felt for young ones, and the indoor pool was not for under 5s. So, it's not useful when the weather is bad.
It's basic but sufficient... The room was clean and tidy but no water, tea or coffee etc in the room which you would expect at a 4* hotel and toiletries again were basic. Food was acceptable, good enough but nothing special. Friendly bar staff and entertainment was good too. The outdoor pool was clean and tidy, the seats/loungers were enough for out of season but can imagine you would struggle to get...
Family friendly hotel in an ideal location. The attractions for the kids really makes this place including the entertainment staff. Great hotel! The rooms are not so big but perfectly fine for me. The rooms have a locker for free use and you can also watch tv if you want. The staff is very kind, always in a good mood and very fast. The animation is kind of boring for adults around the autumn and the swimming pool is pretty small as well. Hotel is perfectly located, it’s near shopping street, the beach and some bus stops.
Had a weeks all inclusive here at the end of september. Entertainment was poor, and not enough really. Staff was pleasant when in the dinner hall. Food was good, best dish was the paella which I felt they didn't do enough of. Focused too much on pleasing the English with nuggets and chips. Room was OK, nothing special.
A very nice place to stay. The rooms are on the small size. No tea , coffee, kettle in room. Had built-in wardrobe with a fridge in it. Not many places to put personal bits. The food was very surprising good. And there was lots of it to choose from. Family friendly and good entertainment for the young children. Was very clean and tidy and kept modern style.

The surrounding area is very nice, with many restaurants. There's even a Chinese restaurant nearby. But the worst part was that the room had a strong, toilet-like odor. It was really unpleasant.
Had a great stay, breakfast was absolutely perfect! I only slept there and didn't use the pool, etc., so I can't comment on that. The beds were very comfortable, and clean towels were provided every day.
For the first time, I'm left with a good impression of this hotel. The location is impeccable, the property is clean. What more can I say? In my opinion, everything is fine, except for the bed, which I didn't like too much.
Very nice hotel, good location close to the city, even if it's on a somewhat remote street. Very small and simple room, curtains that don't block out light at all, very small bed, no soundproofing (you can even hear the elevator beeping, so imagine that...). Modern bathroom, but the water was very hot, even boiling at times; there was often no cold water. Friendly staff.
Regarding the facilities, I have to say that the showers in the rooms are terrible, even though everything is very new. The showers are ridiculous and the hot water doesn't work very well. Another thing I didn't like is the spa. In the spa pool, only two types of jets worked, the other ones didn't... terrible.
Locations was good for travel around salou👍 About service and facility wasn’t standard 4 stars hotel that to show in the advertising. The bed and mattress is not comfortable. The cleaner makes mistake to open the door. The bathroom and the floor in toilet zone doesn’t have a barrier and floor drain. Water can flow out from the room.the doors so louder when we close In the morning so crowned sound from...

We have stayed at 4R Regina Gran 6 times over the past few years. Our most recent visit was October 2025 Location: We got a private transfer from Reus Airport and only takes approx 15 minutes. Hotel is within walking distance, and pretty much flat, to the following: Supermarket/shops (5-10 minutes) Beach (15 mins) Portaventura/Costa Caribe (20 mins) Cambrills (30-40 minutes) Rooms: Can be doing...
We booked this hotel earlier in the year and we were really looking forward to it. That was until we came on here and looked at the reviews afterwards, so we were really expecting an awful experience. However, I'm glad to say there was absolutely nothing negative about our stay! * Hotel Location * The hotel is in an ideal location as it is not too far from the beach, bars and restaurants in town,...
Been to the hotel four times the hotel is always clean and the staff are amazing and very helpful and now they’ve done up the bar area inside is amazing love coming here as feel so relaxed
The hotel food was very nice but the staff are rude and very unfriendly. They seem to hover around waiting for you finish and make grab for your plate. On several occasions even when I hadn’t finished.
We are just back from this hotel. Cannot fought it at all. Rooms, food & entertainment was all great. Rooms cleaned daily. It was a great holiday
Just come back after a 11 night stay at this hotel. The hotel was extremely clean in all areas. The buffet restaurant had a wide variety of choice and the food tasted lovely, plenty of staff around to clear tables. The pool bar cooked snacks to order and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel also for it's location. In walking distance to Porta Aventura theme park, the beach and shops...

the location is great, staff are friendly, I have half board, the buffet are very nice, plenty food and fruit. in the room they don't have hair conditioner, body lotion and hand wash liquid.
We stayed here 27th September- 4th October 2025 after receiving a recommendation from a friend. It’s been a long time since we last visited Salou so we didn’t know the area at all with so much choice for accommodation we were delighted to be pointed in the right direction. The hotel itself is beautiful, rooms were immaculate with a nice size smart TV to chill out before dinner. We went half board...
Recently returned back from a week’s stay here with my family. The hotel itself is lovely everything is clean, fresh and modern. Our room was very much the same, we had a family room so a double and a single which there was more than enough room for. However due to us having a cot for our toddler it was put between the beds which significantly made the room feel a lot smaller. The rooms were cleaned...
I had a great stay at the Golden Port Salou. I had one of the privilege rooms with a terrace on the top floor with access to the mini pool to cool down. Breakfast was really good, with lots of choice, I had one day dinner at the hotel, good choice too, but would be good to add a few more vegetables for a side option. Evening entertainment was really mixed and most evenings really good. The reception...
Absolutely recommend to anyone. The hotel was beautiful and generally well maintained. The rooms are fantastic, modern clean enough and the beds are comfortable. Only issue we had was a lot of dust above the led lighting board things in the wall and the shower silicon could have done with replacing. But the hotel resolved it instantly, we returned to a room that was absolutely immaculate (yes I’m...
Overcrowded at every level The hotel has 2 mid sized and 2 kids pools outdoors, and a large pool indoors. The whole pool area was packed from about 9am to 530pm, mid-August high season of course. The restaurant buffet had a wide choice but most of the cooking was average, with eggs swimming in oil and fish completely overcooked, for example. Evening entertainment at the bar, like a live abba concert...

Fantastic facilities, wonderful staff, close to everything, parking next door with plenty of spaces, very comfortable with everything
Everything was perfect. My only complaint is that I booked half-board and they wouldn't let me change dinner for lunch. I thought that was a bad idea; they finally changed it, but it was a struggle 😂. The facilities are very new, and the pool is ideal for children. A bit far from the beach. Parking is available in the blue zone next to the hotel. Ideal for families!
Check-in was very slow, and there was a long wait at reception. The 4 p.m. check-in time was excessive. A 10/10 room! Choose a room with a terrace. Dinner and breakfast were 9/10! I loved the Asian dinner and that drinks were included. The pools were ideal for children! A very family-oriented crowd.
We are just back from Alannia Salou. We were travelling with two kids. Both extremely happy, mainly because of the pool facilities in Alannia. Overall, we’re very satisfied. The properties were very clean. Staff extremely kind and helpful. Great range of foods representing lots of different cuisines, so basically everyone could find something for themselves. What we really liked was the staff taking...
The hotel was first class.. The staff are amazing.. So clean will definitely be back with the kids..

First time in Salou, stayed here three nights early October, would happily stay at this hotel again, no problems at all.
As repeated by many others the main issue that lets this Hotel down is the food. I have a varied appetite but found a few nights nothing was appeasing to the point we would walk in and see what was on offer and then leave and go to one of the many restaurants near-by. Room and the rest of the Hotel was spotlessly clean. We went on the last week of the season so the Hotel was quite quiet but there was...
Great hotel, catered well for my gluten free diet. The Maitre is as fantastic and each meal time showed me the food that was available for my needs. Each evening I could choose from a list of foods although a lot of the buffet food was also gluten free. He had a great understanding of allergies and what was in the food.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Best Los Angeles! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location is perfect, and the food was really good. A special thank you to Inna from Ukraine at the front desk — her professionalism, friendliness, and warm attitude made our stay even more enjoyable. She truly stands out and deserves recognition. Highly recommended!
The hotel's location is perfect. A 5-minute walk from the beach and the town center. The staff is very friendly; some speak limited English, but we don't speak Spanish. You can get by with gestures and hands. The food is okay; don't expect the ultimate in luxury, but we've never had a bad meal. Just make sure you clean your plate... the staff member pointed this out, and it's been improved. They also...
Stayed here for a week commencing 13/04 and had a wonderful time. Food was varied and delicious, the entire hotel was spotless! Drinks from the bar are super cheap and you can't go wrong with the coffee either! Thank you to the staff of Hotel Best Los Ángeles. I had a wonderful birthday stay with you! Would definitely come back :-)

Who designed this hotel it is a complete genius, everything is very clever designed, the rooms and spaces are perfect for fill all the needs your might have. We travelled with a 2 year old, the hotel kids swimming pool was very shallow, what gave us a lot of peace of mind, we are dairy intollerant and the breakfast was fully well stocked with Oats milk, dairy free and Soya milk options. We are particular...
Beautiful hotel, rooms are immaculate and spotless and very generous size. Absolutely stunning location. I would advise asking for a room facing a quiet street though. Staff are always friendly and pleasant. A very enjoyable holiday. Well done Hotel Blaumar Salou. I’ll be back.
We had a wonderful peaceful, relaxing week at your hotel, and would highly recommend it. The whole hotel is immaculately clean and smells wonderful too. The location just across from the seafront was perfect for morning and evening walks, plus made it easy to spend time at the beach, either at the hotel bar area or further along which was a little quieter for us.
Lovely spacious rooms. Close to the old town, nice and quiet. Beach across the road. About 15 minutes walk to the strip with pubs and cafes. We had a street view with tree's. If I stayed again, I would pay extra for a sea view. We had room only, so can't comment on the food. Lovely hotel, lovely holiday, would recommend if you want a more relaxed sort of holiday 👍.
From check in to check out had a wonderful experience staying at the Hotel Blaumar. Staff were attentive and friendly throughout the complex during our stay. When checking in the receptionist she diligently noticed it was our birthdays and wished us happy birthday. Within 3 minutes of entering our room a knock on the door and a bottle of Cava was sent up with two glasses and a note. This was a wonderful...
Hotel Blaumar is a great family hotel which is conveniently located. Beach front and not too far walk to shops and restaurants. It is a great eco friendly hotel with great amenities. Provides a variety and healthy breakfast buffet options. A pleasant and comfortably stay indeed. Highly recommended.
