We still had an amazing time, making full use of the outdoor pools, spacious sun soaked poolside lounging facilities, 3 great water slides, for anyone who meets the minimum height requirement, wonderful dining rooms with spectacular food and a not at all intrusive, yet still busy entertainment team
We don’t drink, so I can’t comment on the drinks, other than to say the bars seemed to be doing good business, both inside the building and poolside
For the strenuous visitors, there’s a full gym, with various exercise machines, which we (thankfully!) only discovered on our last night. I can’t imagine why this wonderful hotel only warrants 3 stars
It’s hard to imagine what they could possibly do better, to earn another
Everything works via the hotel bracelets (doors, gates & entry into dining rooms, etc), which you can load up with money to make purchases or card payment only accepted within the hotel
We stayed for a week, full board, at the end of September 2024

The corridors are covered with old, worn-out carpet. It's good that there is a swimming pool with slides for different ages on the territory
From the swimming pools with slides and games for both adults and children, to the open pool and the indoor thermal pool that we really appreciated in the "cooler" hours, to the immediate access to the small and private beach below where we spent magnificent moments, from the beach the view is truly unique and the sunset wonderful! There is a bar/bathroom in both pool areas and it was very convenient...
We spent 8 nights in this magnificent place together with our child, we can say that the structure has everything, nothing is missing
A holiday above expectations! It was the first time in Salou and the first time at the Best Cap Salou hotel, we had seen from the photos how beautiful the structure was, but in person it is even more so
Not a bad place but sometimes some things needed more cleanliness, for example a terrace or carpet in a hotel or chairs in a living room
The restaurant area is large and beautiful, there is an outdoor terrace with sea view where we loved having dinner and lunch. The food is always varied, quality and in abundance

Although when busier with older kids the little ones sort of missed out and on occasion there could be little interaction with the children. Pepito and the younger animation team chap were the best ones
Animation team are amazing for the kids, there is ALWAYS something going on to keep them entertained. Food is Wow! You will always find something to eat, and it tastes amazing
The staff are so friendly and helpful and the entertain staff around the pool are great with kids and adults and provide and uplifting and fun holiday
Nau , Adrianna and Pepito were outstanding although they all work very very hard! Food is good although very spaced out which is why I think some people don't find something but there is really something for everyone and always a champagne breakfast
Then one evening there was a candy floss machine for the kids, then icecream and sprinkles and a sweet stand all included in the price. There was pizzas freshly made, salad, Yorkshire puddings and beef off the joint
Freshly squeezed orange everyday and seafood if you like it. The food area was very clean and the waiters were very good at keeping everything in good order. The rooms are basic but clean and are cleaned daily

Not enough places to store clothing, all we had was 1 wardrobe with ten coat hangers and a little shelf above the wardrobe. Dinner and evening meal was terrible. The water in the pool was too cold
I’d say for larger families, book more than one room as it would definitely feel like a squeeze. However, rooms are clean and modern (view to the pool was also lovely)
For a three star hotel it's surprisingly good. Slightly dated but with great service, nice rooms and location. They provide entertainment and good facilities for families. The stand out feature is the food
It was also dirty in the restaurant, the cutlery and plates were always filthy! Facilities- Lots to do in the hotel, such as a spa, games, great pools for adults and children
Can't play ball games and other stuff. The pool slides are good - good for adults too! The hotel is about a 10/15 minute walk to the beach
The entertainment staff are 10/10. Every single one of them is amazing and fab with the kids! They keep them busy all day with different games to play. A bit strict around the pool sometimes

In the evening the minidisco is awesome and kids love it especially for Alex who run the minidisco and the animation and is always very playful with kids, thanks Alex!! A very nice holiday, strongly recommend it
Located very close to the beach. Clean rooms and friendly stuff. Buffet has a good quality and choice! Nice swimmingpool and there is always an activity for kids
Amazing hotels for families, Modern rooms, very friendly staff, closed to the beach and local shops. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families with any age group. It’s has kids pool and play areas.
Nice looking hotel looks fresh and new. All sorts for kids as in the pool and slides. Kids play area needs improving though, one swing and one slide. Room could have done with a better sweep before we arrived
Just back after a ten day stay. We didn’t go all inclusive for our stay so cannot review the food side of things
For the price you actually cannot even go wrong, La Pineda as a town is lovely and quiet the beach is seconds from the hotel and it is stunning such a clean and well kept area, sea is super blue and lovely and warm

Came here on holidays and have to say, one of the best I’ve been on. Facilities were spotless and staff were ever so friendly. Great entertainment for both kids and adults with a brilliant animation team
Freshly cooked food in both mornings and evenings. Pool area cleaned every morning and extra sunbeds stacked to stop “sunbed wars”
The animation team for the night who made the kids disco for the kids and the shows were amazing, they always worked so hard to give an incredible show for the kids, with versions of films and music that the kids loved
There was always a great selection for breakfast, our kids always loved the freshly cooked pancakes the best! Dinner was nice, always extremely varied, you might be disappointed or love what you get depending on the evening
It's far enough from the town centre that the hotel is not noisy but close enough to be walkable. Food and drink were excellent, pool area was very nice and everywhere was very clean and tidy
It is about 20 min walk to town on foot although we found it nice to get the steps in, €7 in a taxi for the days we didn’t want to walk

Reasonably quiet area so slept well apart from a few selfish guests which seems to happen everywhere I go. Nice pool with lots of beds although more umbrellas would be good
Would have liked some light background music but appreciate that’s not for everyone. Two entertainers going around the pool who seemed very friendly and not pushy or over powering
The meat revolves around pork cooked differently instead of other meat alternatuves that would better suit most guests from all backgrounds
Overall I had a great experience and will definitely try come back! Would recommend :-)
Found some of the staff extremely polite and friendly, some not so but none of them rude. Nice smaller beach a five minute walk away and only 5-10 minute walk to the lively Salou
Paid to park in the hotel which wasn’t cheap but peace of mind as we saw two damaged parked cars on tight roads with lots of holiday coaches struggling to get around

Pedro the entertainer is excellent and all of the management and staff are really friendly and helpful. The various entertainments organized around the poolside creates a great community atmosphere in the Cye
Well run, friendly and helpful staff, clean, safe, also convenient to shops, restaurants, supermarkets & beach. Food was good~my only criticism was that it was a wee bit limited but kids loved it
Overall an excellent place to stay and perfectly located within Salou for accessing all that the area has to offer. This was our second stay and we would have no hesitation recommending the Cye
Very close to town, seaside and main bus routes to portadventura, Costa caribe and aquapolis. Minimum facilities but no need when everything is within 10 minutes walk
There was so much to do that we had to drag them outside the hotel every day ~ the younger ones would have been happy to spend the entire trip inside the complex
There was a train line nearby but I only heard it during the day and even then it was minimal, it didn't affect the quality of our trip at all

Stayed here 9/08/17 to 23/08/17. Absolutely loved it, great site, very clean and secure. Lovely pools and good bar and food. min walk from the beach and town of Salou. so good booked for next year!!
Staff were pleasant and helpful. Only downside was that we paid extra to get a little cabin instead of camp and it wasn't in great condition
The new ones are lovely but the caravan ones we stayed in at the back were not in good condition

However, we told them at reception and they moved us to the hotel with the lift, thank you! It’s very confusing there are a lot of different blocks and depending what one you are In you only get access to certain parts of the resort
We went in September and there was plenty of loungers and space without having to go to the pool too early. Loads to do in La Pineda for kids. 5 min walk from the water park and beach
I've just returned from La Pineda after spending the week at this hotel with my family, we have 2 kids aged 3 and 9 months. I cannot find fault with this hotel
But they do make it clear what you’re entitled too. No matter what block you are though, the staff are amazing. there’s arcades, kids entertainment, a lot of different pools everywhere over the resort
The staff were very friendly and helpful, they went over and above on a couple of occasions. The staff in the restaurants were good as well as the reception. The rooms are basic but very clean
If your an adult this isn't bad. Kids were a bit bored but we ventured to play area and a few walks to the beach. We could have done with some more entertainment for the kids as haven't been able to wind down at all

Also, while I understand the fear of damages regarding the use of an iron requiring a €20 deposit (which is refundable), not having an ironing board available seemed somewhat excessive
Very hard-working people that work here, always obliging. A big thank you to all the people we met from when we arrived at reception, the cleaner was in every day
The only fault I have and it's probably the same as other hotels is the mad rush for the sun beds! This is more of a fault on the guests rather than the hotel, but possibly there's another solution to the mad rush
Regarding breakfast, we encountered some problems on our first morning; unfortunately, the omelettes were undercooked and the salad appeared to be frozen
It might be more accommodating to check this at the end of the stay or offer one complimentary on request, as seen in other hotels of similar rating
However, I believe there is potential for improvement through some renovation and updating to enhance the overall experience

Beautiful beaches, a cozy clean town, many shops and supermarkets with reasonable prices. True, sun loungers and an umbrella for two are 17 euros. the beach is expensive if it is more or less comfortable
But otherwise everything is fine
The hotel was first class.. The staff are amazing.. So clean will definitely be back with the kids..
