Hotels on first line in Salou

The pool was clean too and I liked that the staff focused on the rules

The rooms themselves are very nicely put together and the decor is modern, they felt clean and well maintained as did the internal side of the hotel definitely a class above what was on offer in terms of the pools and outdoor seating areas

Genuinely a nice and clean, affordable hotel to use a base to explore salou. If I was someone who spent more time in the hotel and less on the beach and surrounding restaurants I wouldn’t recommend it

The location is good, it’s one of the further hotels from the main salou beach and strip but it’s still closely situated, a 15 minute walk will get you to the beach and 7 minute walk to the strip

The pools are not big enough to accommodate the volume of customers and aren’t much to look at

I stayed here for a few days in mid April on my son's school tour and we really had a great stay , the hotel is very clean and well maintained ,the food we really enjoyed especially the various varieties which I would not normally try but did

This room 224 was not designed for more than two people as it was very small and with the additional bed, cramped. Nice pool view with the balcony but once again designed for 2 people with only 2 chairs

We stayed on HB basis and food was amazing, great choice even for 2 picky eaters. Hotel was near all shops and the beach and a quick taxi ride to Portaventura. Our highlight was the entertainment from Maria and the gang

Stayed here with family of 4 in early July. Hotel is great and staff are wonderful. We booked 2 seperate rooms and this was a much better option. Rooms were cleaned and maintained well throughout the week we were there

Our rooms were facing onto the street which was very noisy most nights. Im a light sleeper and struggled to sleep, my son slept well however

Fun for all the family throughout the day. We would recommend staying here and will definately stay here again

It is a Shame as the amenities, food and staff in the hotel are all what you would expect from a 4 star, however the tired decor and size of the room let it down

We still had an amazing time, making full use of the outdoor pools, spacious sun soaked poolside lounging facilities, 3 great water slides, for anyone who meets the minimum height requirement, wonderful dining rooms with spectacular food and a not at all intrusive, yet still busy entertainment team

We don’t drink, so I can’t comment on the drinks, other than to say the bars seemed to be doing good business, both inside the building and poolside

For the strenuous visitors, there’s a full gym, with various exercise machines, which we (thankfully!) only discovered on our last night. I can’t imagine why this wonderful hotel only warrants 3 stars

It’s hard to imagine what they could possibly do better, to earn another

The best is that really you can feel that you are in Mexico, because of the decoration, the employees costumes, the pool has real sand and the is a sunk pirate boat

Nice looking and clean hotel. Nice pool but with some weird rules (it is not allowed to stand in the pool while wearing sunglasses?!?). No healthy food options for lunch in the entire resort, only a junk food buffet.

Everything was great, the only negative is the long queues at the rides, some up to 3 hours. One day there is not enough, at least 3 to see everything. In addition to the rides a lot of shows programs

The restaurant area is large and beautiful, there is an outdoor terrace with sea view where we loved having dinner and lunch. The food is always varied, quality and in abundance

The corridors are covered with old, worn-out carpet. It's good that there is a swimming pool with slides for different ages on the territory

From the swimming pools with slides and games for both adults and children, to the open pool and the indoor thermal pool that we really appreciated in the "cooler" hours, to the immediate access to the small and private beach below where we spent magnificent moments, from the beach the view is truly unique and the sunset wonderful! There is a bar/bathroom in both pool areas and it was very convenient...

A holiday above expectations! It was the first time in Salou and the first time at the Best Cap Salou hotel, we had seen from the photos how beautiful the structure was, but in person it is even more so

What we received was incredible, the reserved table in the center of the room with balloons and decorations, taken care of down to the smallest detail, even the number 2 candle for our son

We spent 8 nights in this magnificent place together with our child, we can say that the structure has everything, nothing is missing

We had a lovely stay at Best Negresco. The sea view was stunning from our room even though we didn’t book it! The beach was a 2 minute walk, perfect location. Plenty of varieties of food to choose from

Right next to the sea for lovely views (the sun set is unreal) beach’s minutes walk away. Thank you for a lovely and deserved week away with you!

Reception staff seem to go above & beyond, super friendly and approachable. After researching the area and other hotels prior to booking this, I'm super glad that we made the choice and went with Best Negresco

Absolutely lovely place to stay! We got a sea view room and the views were stunning. After reading reviews I was unsure I would enjoy the food but every meal every night was fantastic, big variety

The hotel is located right on the coast. It is far away from anything urban and is very peaceful. Seaview rooms offer very beautiful views and sounds of the sea

Great hotel. Clean rooms, convenient location, very tasty and nourishing food. Here only the wi fi here is very slow. But otherwise a very cool hotel)

Great hotel! The rooms are not so big but perfectly fine for me. The rooms have a locker for free use and you can also watch tv if you want. The staff is very kind, always in a good mood and very fast

The animation is kind of boring for adults around the autumn and the swimming pool is pretty small as well. Hotel is perfectly located, it’s near shopping street, the beach and some bus stops

Location is good if you want everything close by - in the street outside! It turned out our balcony on the street side was actually quieter than those on the poolside - even with road works going on! There was no separate adult & children's pools, so both pools were filled with an array of massive inflatables! No chance of actually being able to swim

) Nightly entertainment took place inside the bar area (although there was a stage outside in the pool area) so we went out to local bars & restaurants to escape the noise! Our room was really lovely & clean, with everything we needed

The rooms are on the small size. No tea , coffee, kettle in room. Had built-in wardrobe with a fridge in it. Not many places to put personal bits. The food was very surprising good

The hotel was also decorated for Halloween with a photo area which is really nice. Unfortunately I didn’t get to use the spa facilities, swimming pool or bar area

The lifeguard was amazing at removing towels from unoccupied sunbeds so people who wanted to use the pool could have somewhere to lie

The staff were helpful, polite, and welcoming. The animation team were very entertaining. The location was great, easy to walk into town and the beach. The hotel was spotlessly clean

But we didn't come for entertainment so wasn't a massive deal You have a wristband as a room key and to purchase anything and for all inclusive which I think is great! Overall it was sooo good and we would definitely stay again Thank you for a lovely stay ❤️

The room was lovely, could do with a little more storage for clothes but that's not a big deal Entertainment during the day wasn't the best but that could be down to us coming late September and then the entertainment at night was a bit to late for young kids

I only got to use the restaurant for breakfast and there was a good variety. You can make a decent English breakfast, there’s a pastry area and a children’s breakfast bar with yogurts and churros

The things that let the hotel down where my daughters got given a double bed to share and we couldn't swap their room for 2 days and the adults roof area was really amazing but the bar wasn't covered by the all inclusive wristband

Very decent hotel, great value for money if you book from their website the deal with the park tickets. Pros: spacious room, shuttle to and from the park and the breakfast was wonderful, it exceeded expectations

Second time vacationing in this hotel, this time a little spoiled the impression that I had to get the administration to fix the air conditioning. Had to be very persistent! Super kitchen! Overall highly recommend

If you’re going to read the reviews then judge it before you come then don’t. I did and was nervous but soon felt at ease. I visited as a single dad with my son and had a great time

* no floats in the pool - a dad had a baby in a floating aid and the lifeguard made a massive scene and told him he had to hold the baby - ridiculous * the pool is like an ice bath - the sea was warmer

Down sides, it’s busy round the pool daily, the usual towel nonsense, and the internal cafe/bar is slow. It’s a loud hotel 9:30- until 11pm, so if that’s what you’re after then great

Near to attractions with shops and the strip in walking distance. Service in the hotel could be better especially in the dining room where some staff neglected to clear or clean in a timely manner

Pool area cleaned spotless daily and rooms perfect. slides and daily entertainment for the kids until late. Or you can beach like we preferred

However food was okay and we all managed to find something to eat with most of it freshly cooked. Pool and animation team are great!

It doesn’t try to be a 5 star, it isn’t, it’s probably a 3. Restaurant for boarded guests was superb, choice excellent. The chefs went above and beyond for my gluten free wife

Special note to the hotel that secretly put a bottle of cava, t-shirt and chocolates in my room on my birthday, no I didn’t tell them. Great family time and lovely stay

Stayed for a week at the Regina Gran. Ideal location to PortAventura, shops and the beach but not dead in the centre of town. Most of the staff speak English and everyone is really friendly

The staff were friendly and the food was decent but the two issues I had the hotel are the indoor pool they advetise has an additional charge to use and is not free with your stay also kids are not permanent in the pool

We also booked and double bed and we're given a room with two single beds went to reception to change and they said just cause you booked a double bed they cannot guarantee that's what you get

I came this holiday with my cousin. The staff have been lovely and rooms are clean and get cleaned every single day. the food has plenty of variety for everyone each day

Plenty of sunbeds and there’s a pool bar you can get chips, toasties, burgers, pizza n salad and crisps and ice cream all included in all inclusive. There is emtertainment at night

Think about the thousands off people who go to these places many people only leave bad reviews and not the good ones. Hotel was clean staff were friendly. Pool was ok size and lots off pool entertainment

Fresh salad and fruit on a daily basis, fresh omelettes cooked on the regular with meat/ fish cooked as and when needed. Local beer/ wine reasonably priced. Free water fountains poolside to refill your bottles

As other guests mentioned, bring bug repellent - you can’t see the bugs when you’re poolside but if you’re prone to being bitten they will feast on you

The only issues we had were that with how nice inside there’s hotel is the pool areas let it down abit, imo they just need freshening up

Outside there’s 6 pools all of different size and depths, with plenty of room for sunbathing

We went half board, not sure what to expect regarding food (as I’ve found in other places the food was cold, or not properly cooked!) I was very impressed with the food quality for both breakfast and dinner, plenty of choice, and when the fresh trays were brought out it was piping hot, so it stayed warm for quite some time

I cannot complain about the food at all ever sitting the food was fresh and warm with plenty of variety and the restaurant staff were excellent, especially the manager! The staff over the whole hotel were excellent, always happy to help and very hard working

The hotel indicates that it has 4 stars, but they can't provide you with the most basic thing - a polite and friendly attitude. When we arrived at the hotel, the girl from the reception was not friendly

Food: The first two days the hotel did not have good options for vegetarian food. At first the worker said that you can have salad. I said that I want hot food, I can not eat only salad

We were lucky that there were not many people during our vacation and it was noisy only occasionally. There is a beach, a market and a bus stop nearby. The center can be reached in 15 minutes by bus (2

When there was an incident with the flood of rooms, many residents were lucky that they were inside the room at that moment and were able to take out their things on their own because the hotel employees did not worry about the safety of visitors' documents, phones and laptops and you would not even be told that there was a flood in your room and that your things were flooding at the moment

As a result, we were given another room that had only two sockets at floor level, which were difficult to find, we had to move the table with a mini refrigerator at 1 a

We pay the same money as everyone else and deserve polite treatment and attention. When we checked out of the hotel, the staff also did not apologize for the situation at night and did not compensate for anything

We even had a few euros go missing, but I decided not to argue as we were on holiday and didn't want to spoil the mood. A tourist fee of 2 euro was required when we arrived, which is standard

We also rented a beach towel for 10 euro, which was returned when we handed the towel back. You can swap the towel for a clean one every day, which was convenient and without any additional cost

As for the food, it was a mixed experience. Breakfast and dinner offered the same dishes, and while the lunch food was quite delicious, some items were not fresh and tasted a bit old

On the bright side, the cleaning staff was lovely and always cleaned our room daily when we requested it. The reception staff, unfortunately, were not helpful at all

But considering the all-inclusive price was quite cheap, we weren’t expecting top-quality beverages. Overall, the stay was manageable, and you get what you pay for

The hotel itself was okay—it’s a 3-star establishment, so we weren’t expecting luxury. However, our room had some disappointing cleanliness issues upon arrival

But don't let this put you off a good quite hotel in a good location very near to beach and shops

We went as a family of 5, 3 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 10. We got a private transfer which took 1 hour from Barcelona would next time definitely fly from Reus as it’s only 20 mins away

We were allocated two rooms next to each other which over looked the pool and close to the evening entertainment. The rooms were air conditioned and this worked well. Bathrooms were a good size with a spacious shower

3 pools, baby pool was lovely and warm and the other two pools were on the slightly colder side but didn’t stop us going in and having fun in the 30 degree heat! The pool with slides was great fun for the children

The balcony was small and could only fit two people on at a time so we couldn’t sit out there as a family. Around the pool was generally clean. Pool didn’t open until 10am and some people started to queue about 9

30am for a sun-bed! We were able to get a sunbed if we went down about 10. 30am but any later and you would probably miss out

Food - is generally a separate song! A huge range of dishes, lots of seafood, was themed dinners, plenty of delicious fruits, meats, cheeses, pastries and desserts!

We didn't use the pool at ground level, but it was very nice to look at during our outside dinners (see picture). Overall, had a great stay with my boyfriend!

We had an amazing experience, as always, at H10 Salauris Palace this year. The food was lovely and the beds were super comfortable, in nice, clean rooms

Pool bars open at 11, a few people commented on that so maybe best a earlier opening time, bar staff nice but unfortunately have to note one, (i wont name) come across unpleasant, as if it was a effort to get you a drink, that was on a few occasions and others also noted it, i even seen her argue with another staff member, people have things going on in life so maybe that it but not a good when your...

My only negative to this hotel is the sunbed wars in the morning, there should be a better set up! Overall I would definitely come back to this hotel, we have had an amazing holiday!

Excellent hotel, friendly and helpful staff, hall is a little small for the entertainment they provide at 10pm every night. Food was delicious, great bar prices. Pool is adequate with plenty sunbeds round about

A large modern hotel complex with two 7 story accomodation blocks beside the large pool with poolside bar and lounge

A 15/20 minute walk to the main large and sandy beach behind which a pleasant park and the busy town can be found

The only down side is this hotel is at the very top of a hill so no matter which way you go, you need to climb a hill so if you have mobility issues it's not the best location although the location is beautiful with plenty stunning sights and walk ways

Hotel was great with kids also. Plenty off food option for breakfast and dinner

There's a roof top pool with small bar, a small pool by the accessible lift , plus the main pool with a terrace area. Hotel also has a snack bar opposite the main pool

The hotel itself is beautiful and can highly recommend all pools but our favourites were the enclosed one on the back/North side and the roof pool and bar area. Really can't recommend it enough

Stayed for a week with my wife last week of September for the 1st time and it will absolutely not be the last. Slept better than I have in ages. Prices in the bars were excellent as was the service at all points

I did find the restaurant staff a little less friendly, but this is a very small criticism of what I found to be a wonderful hotel. The furniture and shower is to die for

At breakfast and evening meal there was plenty of choice and it was lovely. 30pm and there was hardly ever any queue. When there was it went down really quickly

The rooms are not huge, but plenty of room and to a very good standard. My experience of the bar staff is second to none. Good price to in food and drink

We travelled with a 2 year old, the hotel kids swimming pool was very shallow, what gave us a lot of peace of mind, we are dairy intollerant and the breakfast was fully well stocked with Oats milk, dairy free and Soya milk options

The location just across from the seafront was perfect for morning and evening walks, plus made it easy to spend time at the beach, either at the hotel bar area or further along which was a little quieter for us

Close to the old town, nice and quiet. About 15 minutes walk to the strip with pubs and cafes. We had a street view with tree's. If I stayed again, I would pay extra for a sea view

Within 3 minutes of entering our room a knock on the door and a bottle of Cava was sent up with two glasses and a note. This was a wonderful gesture and really set our holiday up from the first moment
